    hey

i have PCOS and i use opk all the time

i get really really really dark positives.

i monitor my mucus and usually around ovulation time i am in so much
pain but i still like to test

i keep all the tests i do in the lead up to and after ovulation and you will see the line get darker and darker with each day you test.

i write the dates on the back of them so i know which one is which and then i line them up all together and you can definantly tell which day was "o".
you will still have faint positives when your not ovulating, and thats cos of the pcos but when your ovulating the line will be darker the the test complete line

i have a little book that i keep track of my cycle
i sticky tape all of the opk tests into the book with the time and date that they were performed on and what type of mucus i have and the days we bd, then when i got to my fs i just give him my book and he looks through to see how everything is going.

    i hope this helps

i have pcos and didnt originally have success with opk's... cos i wasnt ovulating!

then i took clomid, opk worked for the first time ever and got pg on the first go!

so i think they can work with pcos IF you are actually ovulating.

wow mummy2chloe! You re sooo.. organised ! I don't know if I'd have the patience or just stress each time I see double lines! still worth a try I reckon. may get some off ebay for next cycle.

I used OPK's to fall preg this time, worked great for me..........19 weeks and counting.

I guess if your not ovulating it might be a bit hard to tell, maybe try OPK'ing and temping together to help see a pattern? I was doing both because I have 2 DD's who I was getting up to all the time and my temps were all over the place.

    Cheers,
