I used heaps with DS #2. The one that showed a positive first was "First Response". The second line was nice and bright before AF due and this might sound yuck but I have kept that test and the lines are just the same. No fading at all and that was over a year ago.

I second the First Response - the only brand that has ever worked for me! It still comes in 2 versions at my supermarket. The one that says you can test 5 days before your missed period is the most sensitive one. A BFP comes up pretty quickly .

I can recommend lullaby conception ones. I never got a false positive with them.

I have pretty much used them all, and I have to say Confirm are the most reliable (can buy them from Coles). FR, would be my second choice, but I have had very very faint lines on them in the past but not been pregnant - but as a general rule they've been very good. I used the LC ones for the first time this month, and agree with Satya in that they don't give any evap lines or false hope (but I'm talking about the dip stick ones as I didn't use the midstream ones) so another one to use if you want an internet cheapie. Don't bother wasting your money on Pregnosis or any Fortel kinds. Also, try to steer clear of the blue dye tests, as I find they often give out faint positives even when not pregnant. Best of luck with testing!!

    Hiya,

Yep, for me it was 1st Response as well. No false positives and the two lines came up nearly straight away!! Could not fault that brand at all. I have also used HPT and OPK's from Lullaby Conceptions and can highly recommend those as well.

    Good luck with your testing!!!

First Response for me as well. I too have kept the positive dip stick from my last pregnancy. The lines are still nice and strong, about 6 months on.

Actually tried to compare a test tonight with the old one, to see if a line I *thought* may have been a positive, lined up with the old positive.

    Oh dear
