A little help with the whole OPK thing?

    HI all,
Ok so here's the thing, According to all the ovulation calulators and calendars I'm meant to O tomorrow, But i've been testing with the Clearblue digital OPK and so far everthing has been negative. I tried this morning with a different bran (Forelife) and got two lines neither were extremely dark but there were definately two. So I guess my question is any ideas on what might be going on or how reliable these brands are?
    Cheers

The test might be faulty, but if one line is lighter then you're probably coming up to O. The second line will usually be as dark as the control line in the 24-32 hours before or on O day. It's not exact, because it's detecting a hormone surge. Temping is probably more accurate, but I found the OPKs more convenient.

Thanks Jennifer13 I thought the Clearblue might be faulty the second line on the other test was only a fraction lighter. I've had other symptoms as well such as cramping, back ache and tender breasts. Though a strange thing and i'm sorry if this is TMI last night after going to the bathroom i noticed some blood when i wiped. I have heard that it can be a natural ovulation indicator, I'm not sure it was just that one lot nothing this morning. The joys of the female body

You can spot for one day when you ovulate sometimes, totally normal.
