Lullaby Conceptions OPK

Hi Ladies

Has anyone used Lullaby Conceptions OPKs? I've either got a dud batch or they are typical of Internet cheapies. I know that I'm Oing or very close as in tomorrow but still the OPKs are showing very faint lines.

I just don't know what to make of them so I thought has anyone used this particular brand and had a positive result that has 2 dark lines?

I'm also not a fan of their HPT's either. Confusing results.

i think they're the ones i used & they were okay from memory...but i only used them the month we conceived so i only used the one batch. that was more than a year ago now, so maybe they've gone downhill?

Thanks for your reply. I have no idea what's going on with them lol. I know I O because I'm on clomid so I'm not understanding why they aren't getting darker.

Anyway I'll wait and see what happens to tonights one.

Hi I have used them and only once have I got a definite positive where the test line is as dark as the control line.. Having said that I am not sure if and when I ovulate so that could have been the only time.. These testa are confusing aren't they!! Maybe buy a digital one?? I wont go that way as they are expensive and it's definitely hit and miss for me, but if you know when you should be ovulating it might be worth it for you?? Good Luck

Thanks for your reply. Yes I think I will be looking into that a lot more. I will not be purchasing thie OPK's or HPT's any time soon that's for sure.

Also their customer service is pretty nonexistant as well.

I was only using the OPK's to get a more acurate timing of O. But I guess it doesn't matter. I'm supposed to O between 2nd and the 7th so i'll take tomorrow as 1DPO as I have done in the past.

Porsche - I have been using their OPK's for more than a year and each and every month they have worked perfectly, with the day before O being a test line usually darker than the control. I think OPK's in general work really well for some people and not as well for others, as not all people's LH surge is as strong/or as long as others. Just my experience....wishing you all the best.

Hi Ladies

As it turns out I was testing on the wrong days for OPKs. I O late this cycle. If I hadn't have noticed EWCM I would have missed it all together. Grrr

I was testing from CD9 - CD15. I'm BBT charting as well and I didn't see a thermal shift so I asked some questions and thats when I noticed the CM on CD20 - CD23.

I had a thermal shift on CD24 as well as a + OPK on CD21so I know I O'd CD 23.

So now I'm 4DPO and into the 2WW. Counting down the days lol.

Yay.. Good luck.. I have never been bothered with temping, but obviously you find using it in conjunction with OPK's it's accurate? I might give it a go.. What sort of thermometer do you use?

This is only my 2nd month of BBT charting but I can def tell when I O'd. I actually ordered my BBT thermometer off of Belly Belly. It was aroung $17.95. So very reasonable. Postage took 2 weeks though. You can get them at a chemist as well.

You need to make sure that is is a 2 decimal place ( .00). This is beacuase your temp can change very slightly like .02 and it is more acurrate. I also joined fertility freind as well.

My FS prescribed clomid for me for a couple of months and monitored my follicle development by U/S I had a trigger injection which helped with timing.

There are probably other ways to monitor your fertile period without the U/S if you don't want to go that far.

Thanks for the info. I'm not confused about when I O'd as I had all the obvious signs just later than normal. I do normally O around CD14-16.

I had O pain from CD20 - CD23 which is normal for me on Clomid. I don't have ultrasounds or trigger shots. I was just having BT on CD21. But for the last 2 cycles haven't even had that. I'm only on the clomid to keep my cycles regular before my laparoscopy and if I get pregnant then I cancel my lap. I personally think I've been on clomid too long before FS decided to do futher testing but that is another story lol.

But the fact that I had a + OPK and then the thermal shift on by BBT and the EWCM etc.. it is all consistent with O.

I will keep in mind that it can interfere with OPK's I hadn't heard that. Thank you

I guess it will be great to finally get some answers. It's disapointing that we have to go to such drastic measures to get those answers.

I have used the Lullaby OPK's and found that I could never get a strong second line. I used them for 2 months and then gave up.
