Maybe Baby....

Hi Everyone!
Well I havent been around the forums for a while but thought what better place to ask this question then around such supportive ladies as yourselves.
I've been TTC since approx. January this year and so far, unfortunatly, I havent been successful.
One of the ladies on another thread suggested I buy an Ovulation Kit so I went to the chemist to check them out and most of them are urine kits and to be honest I know in myself I wont keep myself "in check" if you will on a regular basis.
I went on eBay and found a saliva based test called Maybe Baby (also caught my eye because I had seen other ladies talking about it on another thread).
I was just wondering if anyone had used it and did it help them concieve?

Also, is there any difference in accuracy between urine and saliva ovulation tests?

hubby and I used the Maybe baby when we were trying a couple of years ago, It worked for us at the time. I have never tried the urine tests so i'm not sure about them.

i think with all the dif methods, opk's, maybe baby, temps, cm checking, you just have to find the one that you like the best and is easy for you to do. some people dont get very good results with opk's. i have seen a few people didnt liek the maybe babys. i know it doesnt really answer your question btu there isnt really one set method that suits everyone. i liek usign the opk's but it can become a bit expensive as i have to test mroe then once a day.

I bought a Maybe Baby a few months ago. It's quite good but u have to follow the instructions fairly closely and get the right amount of saliva on it. Still no luck but I'm hoping this is the month for me!!!

Come to think of it I have one that has never been used (my friend bought me one but by the time she had done so I had already bought another). Would u like to hav it? I can send it to a PO Box or somewhere else if you don't wish me to send it to your home for privacy reasons etc.

Just a thought. I just would hate for it to go to waste and I'm not able to sell it on ebay as I'm not a registered "seller" of pharmacuetical (don't know exactly how to spell it) goods.

That would be GREAT if you could spare your Maybe Baby, I've been bidding on them on eBay and theyre are going over their RRP lol.

When you get it be very careful not to drop it. I had mine for 10 years and it was working well until I dropped it just the once..... it never worked again.
