Deb: wow Hun, you've had so much information to absorb today. I have no wise words, all I know is that you are blessed with a beautiful little girl and you are an amazing mother. I pray that the challenges you face together only make you stronger. :comfort:
Michelle: Here for you in every way possible as you face tomorrow. I hope the wait for results is short and you get some wonderful news.
My news seems inconsequential at the moment but I just wanted to share that B rolled today. Photographic proof on FB.
BBL for more persies.

Hi girls,
Just a short one - and want to say thank you for your lovely words to me, I go through tough periods of grief, it never completely goes away as you all know. I won't go into it all now or I'd write a novel, but you cheered me up girls, thanks. I know so many of you are really doing it tough at the moment - Michelle, you are in my thoughts for tomorrow. Jo, I pray your bub continues to grow healthy and big. Janie, how you doing? Jayne, thanks for sharing. Willow, praying for sleep for you hon. Kelly, hang in the babe, it will happen soon enough, keep diverted in the meantime. Deb, I know you and Immy will contine to be the beautiful team you already are, hope now that you have some clearer results you might fine more kindred spirits for you both. Mako, how you doing hon? Anna, glad you got some good news! Rach, hugs babe, and love to your beautiful Lilli. Spring, yah on B rolling. Flynn rolled at 4 days old in hossie, whilst under photo therapy lights, rolled from tum around, couldn't believe it - tell our boys to stay babies for a while longer yet!!
Too tired and vague for much else girls, and got to hit the pillow. Before that my little lad needs some snuggly mummy time.
Lee xo
Well i rang the dr after 2pm and spoke to the results lady and she said they have the report but my dr hasnt had a chance to look at it as he'd been at the hospital delivering a baby but shes marked it as urgent and she was going to try to get him to ring me back today but i didnt get a phone call so i'll ring tomorrow and either try talk to my dr or talk to the results lady again.
Michelle: goodluck tomorrow  you'll be in my thoughts
Deb: i dont know what to say, that is alot of information to take in
Kelly: i love your avatar :D
Wow, so much to catch up on!
Jo - what did your dr say today?
kelly - I love your avatar, yay! What do you do to get an avatar? I can't wait to get one too! I also totally get wanting to be pg again before the EDD of an angel. Who knows, maybe it will happen! It turns out that I was pg with DD on the EDD of our first angel, it was just too early to know at the time. I hope the same happens for you!
Mako - good luck with the big boy bed. I have just set up DD's big girl bed but like you am reluctant to start putting her in it because we have had enough sleep issues already and I don't want to create any more! Hopefully both our little ones will go well.
Deb - wow, what a lot to take in, and I agree, it must have been hard to take in, especially on your own. I am glad to hear there is a support group, I hope it helps. Like the others have said, you are a wonderful mum and Immy is very lucky to have you and I am sure you will do a fantastic job of supporting her needs.
freya - woohoo on the housing situation, that is great news!
willow - I hope you start to feel a little more upbeat soon. I think I had forgotten just how debilitating sleep deprivation is, but it is starting to hit me now!
Lee - i hope you enjoy your snuggly mummy time! My DS also rolled while in hosp and has done it again at home. It seems way too early to me too! I swear he is growing so fast I can almost see it, and I just want him to stay little!
Spring - yay on the smiles and cooing, that is lovely! You sound so happy with your gorgeous little men.
megsmum - sorry about the sleep deprivation. I can definitely relate right now! I hope we both get a good night's rest soon.
Janie - when is your next CTG? I'm glad to hear how well the calmbirth classes are, and I love how relaxed you are sounding! That is just what you need!
Michelle - will be thinking of you tomorrow.
Today I had my first full day alone with BOTH kids! It was a mixed day as it seems that either both kids are happy and we are having lovely cuddles or something and I think this is easy, or else both are screaming and I don't know who to start with first! DS was sooo unsettled this arvo - wouldn't let me put him down at all, meanwhile DD was wanting my attention and all I wanted was some lunch! Finally got a bite to eat at 4pm when I felt like I was going to pass out! I am hoping this juggling act thing gets easier with experience. I have so much respect for those of you with two or more kids, especially those managing to work as well, I don't know how you do it!
Oh, and DD is TWO tomorrow!! I have no idea where that time went.
Thanks everyone...
Michelle I want you to know I will have my candle lit tomorrow & I will be hoping & praying for you, Omar & G tomorrow...
Thank you beautiful ladies :grouphug: Feeling very, very scared tonight. Just hoping to get some sleep soon and then face the process tomorrow.
Will be back later.
Thinking of you all and thanking you for your ongoing support xxx
Ok just a quickie before I collapse into bed and hopefully get some sleep.
Deb - You are an amazing mum and I am sure you'll be able to tackle any challenge that is put before you. Immy was very smart to choose you. I am glad you've got some answers
Jayne - I just want to tell you that I love reading your posts. You've got an amazing gift to make people smile. I wish I had that talent
Jo - hugs
Mako - hugs to you.
Bun - Happy Birthday to miss C. I am glad you survived your first day alone.
Spring - My goodness - Have you given birth to superboy??? Smiling, cooing and rolling.
Willow - Hugs hun, I really really know how you feel
Janie - I am thinking of you and your bubba all the time
Lisa - How are you>
Lee - I hope you are ok
I can't believe I got RAKed. If it was anyone here thank you so much. I had a reading on Wednesday - Nothing to report except that there wont' be any more bubs for me apparently. Although she asked me if I had a boy and a girl and she didn't pick up Eva at all, so I have my doubts. Sorry I haven;t been around but I really don't think I've got much to contribute except for a hug here and there.
Deb  I have no wise words either and im glad you at least have some answers although there are probably still more questions with todays news. Sending some love and light to you and Immy and for the road ahead xx
Michelle - sending my prayers out for you for tomorrow hun.
Bek - Im doing well sweety, you?? How is Miss Eva getting along?? Do the ring test to see how many bubbies and what they will be, the ring test tells me first baby is girl, next boy and one more after that, another boy, so we'll see how accurate it is in a few weeks.
Janie - how are you travelling? I'll have some free time after next week if you need a hand with anything hun.
Big cheerio to everyone else, got to go and get some sleep, im not sleeping well at all, its a combo of the heat and the stage of pg..
Lis xx
Michelle I hope you managed to get some sleep last night. I'll be there in spirit holding you hand today. I don't know much about the amnio test hun but will you get any results back today or over the weekend or do you have to wait a while? I hope you have some answers and everything comes back much better than you are expecting :comfort: Either way your little Omar is one very special little bub who is loved already by so many
Bek Its great to see you pop in hun. I think about you often. How is Miss E going with her sleep? Has she improved at all? I hope you managed some sleep last night too
Lisa How are you doing?
Willow I hope you also got some sleep last night too. I remember all too well how tough lack of sleep is and its soooo hard to function at times  How is DD going at school?
Deb Oh hun I don't have any words either just lots of
I'd better go. I have my appointment this morning too so really need to think about that too. Oh and to top that off DH's Kidney(he only has 1) is playing up again so I'm not too sure what the plan is for him at this stage. He's gone off to work this morning but who know's how long for.I'm just so so worried about him too.
Michelle - My beautiful friend, I am thinking of you today and praying that all will be well. If it means anything at all, my gut is telling me it will all work out just fine.
Deb - I'm so sorry the results weren't what we were all hoping for. It must be an incredibly hard time for you and to have to face all of this on your own isn't fair. I know you have amazing people in your life to surround you and support you and I hope they are rallying around you now.
Janie - You are also in my thoughts constantly. You're doing an awesome job baking that bub.
Jo - hope you get some answers today
Bek - Have been thinking of you in my sleep deprived state and hoping you're hanging in there. Woot on the RAK! You know, you'd be my no 1 pick if I was in a position to RAK anyone, but my own RAK doesn't expire till the end of the year I think. Can't wait to see an avvy!
Anna/Mako - I'm OK, really doesn't even rate with the stuff that is going on here at the moment. See you Sunday ;)
Big :grouphug: to everyone. I know I'm not being very supportive and am not contributing much at the moment but I'm just a bit miserable and can't think of much to say.
Got hardly any sleep last night and have to take the boys out shopping today to try and find a damn dress for D's christening on the weekend. Awesome, that should be LOADS of fun.
To make matters worse, I log on to BB this morning to a warning PM about not turning my signature off in a thread. I am probably taking it too personally because of the head space I'm in but I know the rules, am fully aware of them and I just forgot to turn it off. It was Rach's thread and I just didn't think to turn it off when 'speaking' to her. I probably over reacted in my reply to the mods but but there you have it
Need to go and call the GP to try and get an appt for L today. He had a fall a few days ago and is still limping :wall: Doubt I'll get him in but starting to get a bit worried about it.
So....wasn't intending to come in here and have a big whine but looks like I have anyway. Sorry girls, I'm just not a very nice person on next to no sleep.
Dont apologise Willow; Im on the no-sleep train too so I hear ya on not being a happy person to deal with lately  I will definately see you sunday; is Mako going too? Oh good cause I was feeling a little silly that I wouldnt know anyone lol
Thinking of you today Michelle
Crap nights sleep last night. I had one whingy toddler in with me for the first half; then I shafted him out at 1am finally got the baby to settle in his portacot............then Jett wanders in crying so Im shooshing him and threatening time out if he doesnt be quiet so not to wake Stellan. So I had him snoring in my ear and whacking me in the head with his elbow the rest of the night on top of trying to avoid him laying all over Stell when he was feeding *sigh* And Im supposed to get through 3 days of Uni + at home study doing this. Im officially fricken stupid for thinking it was doable.
Michelle: Thinking of you and sending you my love and support.
Deb: Another  for you.
Mako: Good luck for your appointment today babe. I hope it goes well.
Jo: I'm sorry you had to wait another night to speak to your Dr. I hope you get to speak with them today.
Willow/Freya: lack of sleep is the pits, I hope the kids give you both a break soon. Willow don't worry too much about the warning, it isn't personal hun
Lisa: Hope you managed to get some sleep last night.
Bek: I'm so glad you got RAK'd you really deserve it.
Bun: having two will be second nature before long. I may regret saying this but I actually think once you've got it figured it is easier, O is so entertained by B that I don't have to continually think of things to do to entertain him. Isn't it just so sweet when they cuddle.
Lee: 4 days! Wow that must be a record. What a strong little lad you have there.
I've been thinking whether or not to post this but I guess I should. The mods have told me that someone tried to RAK me but I can't accept because I'm a Mod and already have access to Plat. If it was one of you gorgeous ladies I just wanted to say a massive thank you. It made me feel so special just to know I'd been thought of. A big grin spread across my face. So if it was one of you please know that even though I couldn't accept, I still felt mighty special.
Sending my love and support to those of you facing challenging days today. :grouphug:
Lv Spring xx
Freya: Hun, I just wanted to add this. I know Uni might seem totally overwhelming at the moment but I know you've got it in you hun. I know I studied a different discipline, but if you need tips about getting through please ask. I know my circumstances were different I was young and more concerned about my social life than Uni. I got through with the minimal amount of study (too busy drinking $2 scooners with my mates at the Uni Pub) , honestly I just figured out how to take really good notes to help me remember the huge amount of material. I'm not proud of it but I did a few exams hung over as anything and one I basically got home from town, had a shower and went it. I think because I did my work throughout the year I didn't ever need to cram the days before. I also learnt some great assignment writing techniques. So if I can be of any help let me know. I got pretty good results, could have been much better if I were sober (lol) but I guess what I'm trying to say is that I was so distracted with my social life (I guess you insert 3 kids here) but I got through. I hope this makes sense and that you don't all think I'm a drunk lawyer (lol)
Hi Ladies,
I really don't know what to say to everyone. I am just going to send out one big :grouphug:
BFN today, still no AF but I think she is on her way. I hope that I am not going to be one of the few women that have issues getting pregnant after a c-section. I guess my body just needs a little more time.
Laney,
Spring, is there any other sort?????? ;)
Willow, please do not apologise, that's what we're all here for! We all know how tough it can be with no sleep, and not all of us have three kids!!!! Give me a few months and I'll be saying all the same things LOL. Pleasant, schmeasant, who has it in them to be nice when they've had no sleep????? ;) You just hang in there, and know that it will get better
Freya, you are going to be great hun! Yes you might be a dead man walking some days, but you can do it! You got in, which is such a massive hurdle to start with!!! I know you can cope with all of the rest...........it will be tough at times, but so worth it :D
Mako, good luck today, I'll be thinking of you, and looking forward to reading your update!
Bek, it's so lovely to see you, you have plenty to contribute! Please keep hanging around......
Lisa, I hear you on the sleep! Hope you can get some rest in at some stage, take it easy hun. Thank you so much for your offer, that's very lovely of you, but I'll let you just rest, relax and enjoy these last weeks of your pg :D
Have a lovely day guys! Will pop back tonight with a positive update from our CTG!
Willow, I've had a similar warning before and it does seriously suck - especially when it's one of your friends and you know they won't be bothered... but rules are rules. *sigh*
Michelle, thinking of you today.
I think Sam's getting sick. Either that or teething. Broke my heart to leave him at daycare today, but I'm told he settled later on. He's just refusing food and is clingy and he CRIED when I left. Hoping he goes ok through the day and isn't getting sick.
Anyway, at work and working... so I'd best go. Just desperately wanted to pop in and check on things... and show off my spunky, new back to work avatar. :)
BW
Just a quick one. Stabbing over. Not the most pleasant of experiences but done. Now we wait. I need a good cry and a snooze to release all of this pent up stress.
Thank you for the messages of support and the SMS's this morning. It means so much to both of us. I just wish DH had a group like you. BBL. 4 sleeps to preliminary results .......
Michelle: thinking of you today  i hope you managed some sleep last night
Mako: all the best for your appt  and i hope hope your DH is ok, the kidney situation sounds scary
BW: LOVE your new avatar!, hope Sam isnt getting sick
Willow: big
Laney: sending you some  too
Janie: goodluck for your CTG's i hope to hear positive news later today/tonight
Freya: i'm sure you'll find a balance between everything
Bun: i hope your days get better
Bek: YAY on being RAK'd
Lisa: i hope you got some rest
Spring: i've sent you a PM :)
Sorry if i missed anyone
Now AFM:
Well my dr finally rang at 10.17am, i'm so grateful to the results lady for getting him to look at it urgently this morning i could kiss her, i think she could hear the anxiety in my voice both times i spoke to her.
Anyway he said it would appear that i'm not as far along as we both thought i was which would explain why the yolk sac is so small and why there was no fetal pole. At this point in time he isnt concerned but wants me to have a blood test today and next Friday he's leaving the forms at the front desk, also he's leaving an ultrasound form for me as well that i'm to have in 7-10days times.
He said so far things seem on track and its just too early to pick up and he wants to check my HCG levels to see whether they are are rising or falling which we all know its good if they are rising because it means we're headed in the right direction BUT if they are falling.....................then you know what that means
Thankyou for the continued support at this time and for thinking positive when i wasnt sure i could, i appreciate everyones kind words &'s
Glad the procedure went well and is over for you Michelle; now to just concentrate on getting through the next 4 days. Im here if you need me; only a short drive away!
Thanks for the advie Spring (I did not know you were a lawyer though!) TBH its not even really coping with the Uni work Im worried about because I truly find anything medical utterly fascinating, its the rest (Dh, kids, house et al) thats stressing me out. I already dont get enough sleep or enough time to myself without having to fit study in somewhere. I know if I get distracted thatll be the end of me.
Although now Im wondering why Im even bothering to study when apparently there is a shortage of jobs for nurses, esp new grads :(
Counting down with you Michelle......
Bonham - Glad you had an encouraging call from your dr, that all sounds really positive! Praying for a lovely rising HCG for you.
Michelle - thinking of you over the next 4 days, so sorry you have to wait that long.
Laney - Sorry about the BFN :(
Janie - GL for your CTG today! I got an I Phone last year and I love it! Would like the new one but DH has said NO LOL Do you have Wi Fi internet at home at all? If so you do you can use the phone as a lappy - well almost, small screen is a bit of a PITA. But there is this new forum app I found out about today, looks like it makes browsing here and posting easier on the phone. Thinking about getting it!
Willow - I know how you feel - another bad nights sleep here too. We've just had a swimming lesson so hoping that has tired her out, she's asleep now....And I got a warning too, I would never intentionally leave my ticker on either but I know how easy it is to forget especially when you are tired
Mako - GL for today
Bun - Happy birthday to DD for tomorrow!
Inanna - I wanted to reply to your post about Immy last night but didn't have enough time.....we are in a similar boat with our DD1 too unfortunately. She has a deletion on chromosome 2 - only 6 other people known to have it in the world :wall: But it would appear that she is not too badly affected - although we don't really know what it has caused and what it hasn't KWIM? Anyway, she has slightly delayed gross motor skills, very very lax ligaments (it is freaky the positions she can get her legs into!), low muscle tone and a slight sensory processing disorder. She also had Congenital Hip Dysplasia as a bub, 12 weeks in a Pavlik harness for that. Anyway we found out about the disorder when we took her to a paed because her preschool was concerned about the low muscle tone. He did an array CGH as part of the investigations - very thorough he was - which came back abnormal. More testing and lots of worrying later we had an answer, but have had no genetic counselling as yet - I'm sure they are going to put us into the too hard basket  cause of its rarity. So I don't really know what I'm trying to say  but I do understand your concerns. Our big one is that because this disorder is not well known that something could pop up at anytime that could be a major problem for her KWIM? We are doing occupational therapy with her and she has orthotics now too to improve her core stability and gross motor skills. Encouragingly she has made some good improvements. Will be praying that Immy does the same!
Big hi and hugs to everyone else!
Hi all, I'm just lurking, it's hard to keep up with everyone's news but I just wanted to let Michelle know I am thinking of her. I think the waiting is worse than the amnio itself. We had the Australia Day PH thrown in as well, so the weekend is an extra day! Boo. Thinking of you hun,
Deb - good luck with your search for answers for Immy, have you contacted the support group yet?
Bonham - argh, the waiting is the worst in early pregancy isn't it?! I hope your HCG rises nicely and your next scan goes well.
Bun - I enjoy reading your posts about life with 2. I'm already thinking how I can be organised next time. I'll get a cleaner (the lady who does our store) for a few months and lots of frozen meals should make things a bit easier. I just happen to be due during DH's most busy time with work (farming community) so it should be verrrrry interesting!
Hi to everyone else.
AFM - I fell over in a carpark last Sunday and have possibly split my patella. Has anyone had an Xray whilst pregnant? I'm not keen at all.
Sequoia - they will shield your tummy for the xray. The dose of radiation is really very small and so are the risks for bubs - particularly at this stage of your pregnancy.
Freya - pfffttttt!!! There are PLENTY of nursing jobs. You don't need to do a new grad program. I didn't and it didn't kill me ;) There are plenty of options available to you beyond a new grad program and they are soooooooo short of staff you will be able to find a job easily. I can give you a few sneaky tips on how to get there too :D
Home trying to rest. Thankfully my best friend is a gem and is staying here because DH is off to work soon. Anomaly scan booked for the 25th which is pre-emptive by my OB but he wants to see me then so I am hoping :crossfingers: All measurements are good and right on the midline so I just have to hope and pray it is all good.
BBL when my head can think for my than 5 seconds *mwah*
Michelle - Glad to hear it went OK and you're at home resting
Happy to report my shopping expedition was somewhat successful. I have something to wear now (albeit not as awesome as I would have liked) and I was in and out so quickly (hit the jackpot at the first shop I went in to) that the boys didn't have time to give me grief. Came home and put them both to bed and have just got them both up. Why can't every day be smooth sailing like this?!
I forgot to mention earlier that my bestie is flying in tomorrow morning and we have D's christening on Sunday so I probably won't be around until Monday or Tuesday.
Mako - Make sure you txt me in case I don't get a chance to pop back in here!
Michelle: So glad the Amnio is over. I was quite surprised when I had mine how quickly they were in and out. I hope that the wait for results is a short one. Here for you (and DH) if you need anything.
Willow: Yay, I always love a good shopping trip.
Sequoia: I don't even know where the patella is but it sounds mighty painful. I hope you are ok hun
Bonham: Well hun that all sounds positive. I hope you have out of this world HCG results that continue to rise. Hey and thanks for the PM ;)
Laney: Sorry about the BFN. What CD are you? Is it possible that your HCG hasn't risen enough to show a BFP?
Janie: I know I'm daft but I don't get it  Hope you have a fantastic CTG today.
Meg: You are a pretty special lady for being so open and sharing the story of your gorgeous DD with Deb. I think that was a very generous thing to do.
Freya: I hope you can fit in study within all the other chaos. Is there some sort of support group at the uni for parents? They might have some tips for coping? Ring the Admin or Student Union they might be able to point you in the right direction.
BW: I hope Sam is feeling better soon. It's hard leaving them when they are not 100%.
Spring xx
Sorry, just a quick one from me... I woke up with a damn migraine again so not feeling too good.
Michelle - Just wanted to say I'm thinking of you and am glad that it's over.. althought the next 4 days of waiting will definitely be even worse. Big hugs and know that we're all here for you. I'm praying that the results will be ok. Take care and try to rest up!
Jo - I'm so glad you finally got to talk to your dr and am praying everything is going to be ok.
Mako - Hope you're appointment went well too (I'm assuming by the time you read this you will have been)!! Will be interested to hear what your ob says. Hugs.
Sorry for the lack of personals, not feeling too good and need to make the most of the 'quite time' that I have while DH is asleep. Think I might sleep myself. We're off to Geelong tomorrow for the Half Ironman.. so that will be nice. I'll try and pop in while we're away though but otherwise, we're back Monday!
Take care.
Kel xxx
Hi lovelies,
I think we are all getting answers and things are picking up in here, well they had better be the right answers I say!!
Michelle - hurdle number one over, now to wait, and keep nicely diverted with your little people in the meantime, try to keep your feet up hon xo
Laney - bummer about the BFN, it will happen hon, you have not had problems falling before, it will happen soon xo
Spring - ha ha I hear you say 2 are easier than 1 - are you crazy lol!!! Try 4, I'm a sucker though!!
Jo - hoping and praying your bub keeps growing xo
Kelly - Luke is a cutie in your ticker !
Freya - call me mad too, but it's usually a case of the more you take on, the more you can do - sometimes I just long to be BORED, can't see it for another 20 odd years though! I reckon you are the kind of woman who can turn her mind and passions to making anything possible!
Willow - unreal you found an outfit - I hate it when you have to go into 15 shops and still have not found 'the one' - I admire you tackling clothes shopping with kids! I took my 2 little ones to Woolies this morning, and got through the check out dignity intact, so pretty chuffed too lol !
Deb - how's the info sinking in hon? How are your bigger ones enjoying being back at school? How's your move looking!
Sequoia - a broken patella wouldn't tickle - I'm studying massage and it's usually a no-go zone, good luck hon!
Janie - look forward to reading your good CTG news, hopefully your bub has had a healthy growth spurt too xo
Jayne - how are you doing way over there in the West??
Hi to everyone else!
Changed my ticker so you can see the mini-man (current nick-name lol) goddam he's cute, but I'm just a tiny bit biased there........... all okay here, just trying to remember where I left the motivation for chores????? Perhaps I threw it out with the rubbish this morning
Lee xo
All good, nice and quick today :). Bbl.....
Great to hear you're home and resting Michelle  I hope the next 4 days pass as quickly as possible for you and your DH.
Well my Ob was over 2 hours behind and of course I didn't bother to phone ahead. The only time I've never called :wall: Luckily I left DS with MIL for the day.
Anyway she was very very upset and angry that I hadn't been to see her earlier or that the hospital didn't bother to call her when I was there. There had been a bit of a communication clitch as far as her receptionist goes too and she wasn't happy to say the least. Anyway I've had more b/t done this afternoon but won't get the results of some of those for about 3 weeks or so. She has told me to start taking Metformin again(but I'm waiting until I see DR S Thursday). As for the Clexane she's not too sure about that just yet as she said it depends on how my results come back as it can sometimes cause more bleeding and other issues and doesn't want to risk anything if we don't have to.
So I go back in April to see her again but at this stage I don't have any answers at this stage.
BBL..have a whingy child climbing all over me and we need to get ready as we are going out for FIL's birthday.
Michelle, Janie, Mako - Glad all my girls have done well today. You are all in my thoughts.
Gotta go, it's a nuthouse here and have a bub that needs to be fed.
Hi Laney - Sorry for the BFN Darl, I hope AF happens soon so you can get back on the TTC wagon (if she's coming back!!!)
BEK _ How are things going at your place? Your insomniac decided that sleeping is a cool thing to do? I can only imagine how tired you are. Sorry hun!
RACH _ I just read your thread re: Lilli. I'm so sorry honey, FWIW I think you're an absolutely inspirational woman, honestly, you & your family deserve medals for what you have been through & you have come out raising another beautiful little girl. I have no advice or no clue what I can say to make it better, but I just want you to know that we are all here to listen & offer any encouragement that we can.
MAKO _ Sorry you have no immediate answer honey, but I'm just glad the appt has been & you have had the bloods taken & in April you'll get more answers. Hopefully the Dr S appointment is a help?
Hi Laney - Sorry for the BFN Darl, I hope AF happens soon so you can get back on the TTC wagon (if she's coming back!!!)

LEE _ You're not biased, he is awfully cute & I love the mini-man nickname! You're sounding much more spritely which is fantastic! Thanks for asking about me, we are doing alright over here. Alan gets home on Thu so that will be nice, but scary to think the next time he's home it's to fly us to China with him! Eeeek!
KELLY _ Well aren't you a little spunk rat in your avvy! Exactly like IRL! I love IT!
SPRING _ Glad O is no longer a spotty-wot!
FREYA _ You're going to surprise yourself honey. When Alan is home & I tell the kids 'it's bedtime' they know I'm more lenient, but when he is gone & I say 'it's bedtime' they know IT'S BEDTIME! I honestly think you will get an assertive aura about you that lets the kids know, when you give an instruction, you have every intention of it happening. I know my kids can read when I'm going to be soft or when I mean business & I reckon you will give of the same vibe. You WILL get yourself into a routine & it will work. It might take a bit of getting used to, but you'll get there - I know you will! I hope that makes the tiniest bit of sense?
WILLOW _ How many Christening dresses is that now my dear??? I don't frequent many other forums, but what's with the ticker thingy?
MICHELLE _ I have been thinking of you all day today, I'm so relieved the amnio has been done & now we all count down results day with you! xx
SEQUIOA _ I am loving the ticker that you have now! I bet you felt excited working it up as well. Frozen meals & a cleaner sound like a brilliant start to life with 2 little ones!
BUN _ The first day is always the more tiresome day & it will only get easier. Sure there are going to be hair-raising times, but they will be over quickly & you'll be onto the next day! I think you did a fab job - even if you did get lunch at 4pm! LOL
BW _ I am LOVING your new avatar as well! Very YOU!
DEB _ I have no doubt in my mind that Immy was placed with YOU for a very special reason. You're the most caring, considerate, warm & encouraring person I know & look how far you have taken Immy already! I'm glad you have been given some answers, even if they aren't textbook.
AFM _ I"m sorry to anybody I have missed, I'm absolutely shattered today, I have no idea why? Probably the first school week or something. I feel quite detached from everybody & everything, but hopefully that passes quickly. On a brighter note, my BIL comes home today after his accident. Arm is still intact, although completely useless & utterly disfigured, as is his leg where they took the skin graft, but at least he's home tonight. Massive physio classes are still ahead of him, but important for my niece & nephew to have him home where he belongs - not to mention my sister.
Love Jayne xx
Deb, I hope that you are able to connect with some other families that can give you some good advice and extra support.
michelle, I am glad to read that the amnio went okay. Just 4 more days and the hard wait will be over.
Mako, sorry to read about your long wait at the Dr. I am not sure if you know but I took clexane while pregnant with Grayson. There were no test results that came back positive for a clotting disorder. It was really my only option other than aspirin. I did have more spotting than usual, well into the second trimester. Other than that clexane was pretty easy. It became part of my routine.
Janie, Glad everything went well and fast today. I had weekly non stress tests done with Grayson. They liked to keep me there for at least an hour every time. They would only do them after 32 weeks. I guess there are not as many heart rate variables until after that point.
Lee, I find it easy to get motivated for chores when I think about how they pile up when I skip them for a day
Bonham, I will keep my fingers crossed for nice rising HCG.
Spring, AF is like clockwork for me. Day 33 is spotting and day 34 she comes with full force. I am on day 33 and the spotting started. I will test again tomorrow if I feel the need. With Grayson I didn't have a positive test until day 33 so I guess there is a small chance.
I have to run to the store and pick up a few things. It sounds like we wont be leaving the house for a few days. We are supposed to get a bad snow storm tonight.
Spring, I was referring to what you said to Anna about being a drunk lawyer  Sorry to be so vague!
Jayne, that is wonderful news for your family! It sounds as though your BIL, and everyone else, still has a long road to go down, but I'm pleased that he's home with his wife and kids. I hope you're okay darl, you sound a bit down ATM :(. We love you so much in here, and miss you so much when you're not around! I can't imagine our thread without you
Michelle, I hope you got to rest plenty yesterday. Have been thinking of you lots.............by the the time you read this it will be 3 sleeps!
Sequoia, if it were me, I'd have the xray done........as Michelle said, they will protect you well, and the radiation levels are low anyway. Better than ending up with complications from something left untreated, or misdiagnosed. You poor thing, it sounds very ouchy!
Laney, I had to laugh at you saying you'll be at home for a few days........it's just so far removed from the weather we get here! Don't get me wrong, here in Melbourne the weather is pretty ordinary during winter, but we don't get snowstorms. I hope it's not too bad, and you have everything you need while it's going.
Willow, your message made me cry! We haven't even met, and I still get to be one of your girls! Thanks darl, I feel very special :) Same for you Bek :) Oh, and Willow, yay for the good shopping trip! Can't wait to see pics!
Mako, what a mixed day for you! It's very hard when you walk away, feeling that you're moving down the road, but still have few answers. I'm glad your Ob is so on the ball with things so. And only 5 sleeps til the big day!!!!! Dr S sounds so lovely from everything I hear about him..........I'm sure you'll be very happy you went to see him.
Kelly, I hope you have a fab time in Geelong, and that the weather is kind :D. Make sure you take your Mersyndol with you!!!!
Megsmum, I saw the thread about the new app! I will definitely think about getting it too. I mean, I am potentially going to be spending alot of time in the hospital etc, and so will need to make logging on as easy as possible ;). I am desperate for a new phone, but am joining DH's business plan, and just waiting on his partner to go and sort out the new contracts. I can't complain because of course his workload is a bit heavier ATM, while DH takes a bit of time off to run me and bubs around.
Lee, thanks for your encouragement hun. Your mini-man is very cute indeed!!!!!!!!
I know I shouldn't be up now, but my left hip was so sore lying in bed, that I couldn't stay there another minute! Mind you, now I'm up I have a sore lower back, and am getting a few tightenings, so I was probably better off in bed LOL. Am starting to feel a bit spewy again these days. Nothing terrible at all, just gaggy when brushing teeth, and certain smells etc make me feel a bit yuck. Even now my tummy just feels kind of, well, unsettled. And it's so tight right now! It drives me nuts! It's okay when I have a contraction and then loosens off again, but when it stays tight for ages it's really annoying.
On the bright side, we definitely think that my belly has popped over the last couple of days, and my fundus feels higher too. I hadn't really noticed it get higher for awhile, so that's reassuring me. Also, I'm reasonably sure that I haven't felt bub in a breech position for almost a week! Which is obviously good if I go into labour, but also means (I hope) that there is a little less room to move around. I can't believe how easy the CTG was yesterday! Just need another of those tomorrow, and a great scan on Monday, and I think we'll be looking set to keep on plodding for awhile longer :D
Hmmmmm - if only sleep was an option  My daughter decided last night to have a shocker :wall: so I was up around the same time as you Janie. Could have had a chat  A bit sore this morning but not too bad. It took a while to get the fluid because (of course) Omar was up the top and transverse. We make the OB work for his money
BBL - hoping for a nap to keep me sane.
HI ladies,
Glad things are slowley settling down in here.. Michelle, Janie and Mako, fingers crossed its good news across the board .
Laney - :o Snow storm, then i realised your not from the land of OZ!! Hope you get that bfp soon honey.
Big cheerio to everyone else.. Im plodding along, off the cemetary this morning with the IL's then leaving miss A at my parents so i can re organise her room, her clothes and take out some of her baby stuff to wash for the new bubba. Then tomorrow im sorting my office so fingers crossed everything will be ready for bub by next weekend then I can relax.
Hope you all have a lovely weekend, off to have some brekky mmm
Lis xx
Man - I just can't do this :( It is all peaking and feels like it is all crashing down. My family haven't even called to see how we are and that hurts more than I can describe. This is one of the single most difficult times we have had just short of losing Caitlyn and they STILL haven't called. I am sad, mad and resigned to them not giving a rats or even thinking how we might be feeling
And the little people are picking up on the tension and having melt downs at the drop of a hat. Not sleeping - we were up most of last night and awake hourly when we were in bed and every time I walk in the room DD in particular cries and is just a miserable little monkey who wants to feed constantly. DS threw a toy this morning and knocked the cover off my oil lamp and broke it and was so upset because Mummy was crying. DH is trying to keep it all together but he lit ALL of the candles in the lounge today (and there are quite a few) hoping for divine intervention so I know how much this is effecting him too. Caitlyn is around as it is raining but right now I just want to curl up in a ball, cry and wake up when the results are in.
No need to respond. I just need to get it out or explode :(
Hey sweetheart I know how hard this is :comfort: I tried calling you last evening as I didn't want you to feel alone or frightened.
I don't get the older generations sometimes - but I know that they love you. I think they don't know what to say, or they don't want to hear stuff that's too hard for them to process.
I feel so incredibly sad hearing how you are feeling - you have so much to process & this is an inordinately stressful time. I feel completely impotent not being able to do anything.
If you want to talk, cry or debrief I am your girl... I am going out in about half an hour to pick up Lucy from a birthday party. I will be gone about an hour I suspect. After that I am home - just Lucy & I so I can talk to you as long as you like. I can cry with you, laugh with you or just be silent and hear you.
Don't do this alone if you don't want to. You are such a beautiful Being - so giving and so full of love. It's your time to receive it back darling. I thought of Caitlyn this afternoon as we have a massive storm coming and the clouds are gathering. I actually smiled and said: "you're watching your Mama hey sweet girl"... Finn said; "how're talking to Mum?'
Big cuddles and so much love.
