Great news Janie! congrats hun, hoping Max is happy too
Girls I'm here and I care but I am soooo sick today. I suspect another sinus infection but had to get my bestie on a plane home so haven't been to the drs, will try tomorrow.
Janie - Great news! Keep up the good work babe ;)
Michelle - you are constantly in my thoughts and I am hopefully awaiting GOOD results. I hope the family stuff is resolved. We had similar issues with my parents after announcing our prg with D. It hurts and while I've forgiven, it's hard to forget.
Mako - Thank you for coming yesterday. You are such a beautiful friend and I am so lucky to have you in my life  I am so, so sorry for that stupid conversation you had to overhear :( I could have knocked all their heads together but most of them are just ignorant of the stuff most of us have been through. I'm sorry you and DH had to hear it though
D's day was very special yesterday although I was disappointed with how many people didn't make it on the day. Including my brother, sister and my nan - she was just too ill to come :( Had a bit of a cry in the morning and then got over it. The priest also left a lot to be desired :o Weather was awful too but we sitll managed a few sausage sandwiches so can't complain ;)
I have to go and crawl back onto the lounge but will BBL to check up on you all. Being sick with 3 little kids and one who has to be taken to school is just a total PITA. DH is home today but I'm not looking forward to tomorrow. I don't think I can take anything but panadol either and it's doing nothing. Woe is me....
Willow - Oh gosh I hope you feel better soon; totally sucky being sick with kids to tend to  So sorry we couldnt make it yesterday but by the time swimming had come and gone (with a major meltdown from Princess Jett who wasnt even attending lessons seeing as we pulled him out for exactly that reason) I dragged them home, shoved them in their rooms for naps and collapsed in a heap.
Michelle - thinking of you hun!
At present one out of three is being nice to me. R & S have dumped an entire toybox of toys on my living room floor, fan-freakin-tastic. I honestly cant be bothered getting up them though; bad nights sleep last night even though the boys slept great. Thankgod tomorrow is daycare day; theyll all be out of my hair for the day seeing as they managed to get Stells a spot. Going to be filled up with running errands, sorting clothes and toys and getting my house ready to vacate. Ive given my 3wks notice so as of Feb 26th we'll be back together as a family (if I was saying this IRL youd be hearing some dubious sarcasm in that statement but thats a whole other thread *sigh* ).
Hope everyone else is having a better day than I am.
Freya - Don't sweat it babe :) We used to have DDs swimming lessons on a Sunday and we'd constantly forget and make plans and then go... swimming!!! It would have taken a mammoth effort to get here and I totally understand
One week and counting huh?! You go girl ;)
Yay yay yay! Growth is still slow, but consistent, everything else is pretty much consistent too :) Will update more later!
Hi ladies,
Go Janie - glad to hear things are well with the ctg. How are you feeling otherwise??
Bun - i beat you by a few days, mines tomorrow..happy to report im still in my early 30's  so happy to hear J is doing well and i hope you start feeling better hun, recovery takes a while
Willow - im sure yesterday was beautiful and special even though granny couldnt be there. At least she was still in the same realm and no doubt thinking of you and D xx Hope you recover soon sweety.
Freya - yep my 3 hours today got taken up real quick so make the most of day care time!!
Jo - the swab was to test for Strep B (?) dont know, OB said its part of our natural flora 'down there' but if its present means I need AB's during labour...
Michelle - you hanging in there hum?? Know that im holding your hand and thinking of you.
Deb - about nearly being eligible for a retirement home. 40's are the new 30's, woot!!, cause that means im still in my 20's LOL!! How are you anyhow, any more info on Immy?? Im sure you have been researching like mad. Did you join that online group??
Lou - how are you travelling sweets?? I LOVE YOUR AV !!! i love your pg belly!!
Kelly - Glad you had a good weekend, and hope that bfp catches you soon too.
Seq - my mum has thyroid issues, but not sure how it goes with pg - BOL with your appt hun.
Jo - hope those results are nice and strong xx
Jayne - how are you going my lovely??
Big cheerio to anyone i have missed..
AFM - DD had a great time at day care and is happy to go back next week. Me - period pain and i get a few nasty side stitch pains every now and then. No real BH's to report but the period pain is getting pretty constant.
BBL to check on Janie and Michelle again
Lis xx
Er yeah a week. Im trying to forget. Im still freakin out. And to top it off Ive had 3 emails in the last 2wks from people interested in utilising me as a student doula for their births. So now Im trying to decide whether I should just attempt to do it and if I cant make it then I cant make it sort of thing; or just to put it aside (and still do my theory). Only problem is the course wont stay active for the 2yrs it takes to finish my degree and its still something Id like to have under my belt/be able to do should my midwifery study not happen as fast as Id like it.
Well - at 5pm this afternoon the gods smiled on us and we got the results. I am pleased, excited and sooooooooooo relieved they have all come back fine. While these are only the preliminary results it is wonderful news and I am a very relieved mummy to be with a headache to prove it ;)
And the next piece of news - it's a boy :bluecheer: I am so happy that the gender is really not that important but still exciting anyway :D Roll on July - I'm ready
I want to say an enormous thank you to my cheer squad from far and wide. It has been such an important part of this journey to know you are there and supporting me (and us) through this. I can't imagine doing this alone and without you to hold my hand. Thank you from the bottom of my heart - I am eternally grateful :grouphug:
Janie  Fabulous news!!!
:leap: Woohooo!!!!! :leap:
Michelle, I am soooooo relieved and happy for you!!!!!
Michelle that is the BEST news!!!!!!!!!!, i'm happy & relieved for you & your family
 YAY Michelle, that is awesome news, the prelim results are a pretty good indicator in my book. Im so happy and relieved for you. Another little boy, how wonderful, cant believe dh was right again with his gender biased nicknames!!
I think the universe is slowely starting to smile down on this thread....
AFM - little bit concerned, ive had period type pain all day, its a dull ache but sometimes gets quite strong. Not a typical BH though, no tightening associated with the pain. Seeing my OB tomorrow but thought id get some ideas from you girls in the mean time.
Lis xx
YAY Michelle - I can't even describe how happy and releived I am for you!!! Such brilliant news... and another little man... so exciting!!!! I hope you manage to have a really, really, really good sleep tonight.. god knows you deserve it (and much more)!!! So happy.
Janie - Woo Hoo, I'm so happy and releived for you too.. hope bubs stays in there for quite a bit longer.
Lisa - Wish I could help (but I've got no idea.. sorry). Hoping all is ok and I'm glad you're seeing your ob tomorrow.
Well, I'm not having a very good night, am really tired after the trip away and DH is at Uni tonight, then away for the next three nights, so just feeling a bit down. And to make it worse, I had a little fall down the stairs after putting DS to bed. So of course I just sat there crying and DS came running out. I'm ok just a few little grazes on my arms and a few sore joints!! Thankfully it wasn't too bad but then I had to get DS back to bed AGAIN. Not happy but all sorted now. Just hope it hasn't affected my chance of a BFP later this month!!!!
Kel xxx
Congratulations again my friend! :happyforyou: I had a cry too! This is the BEST news I have heard for a long time! :leap:
Janie I am so so glad that your little one is being good... Let's all hope and pray that we can keep her/him on the inside for a while yet!
Bonham I hope your results are pleasing ones my love -please let us know...
Lisa: I had those type of sensations with all of my pregnancies in the last trimester - I think it's things stretching & growing. If you can't feel your belly tighten - it's likely that's what it is. Let us know what your Dr says tomorrow. Big hugs
YES AWESOME NEWS MICHELLE! Rock on BabyBoy!
Michelle so very happy for you, best news for me today. x
Michelle
Whoo Hoo Whoo Hoo Whoo Hoo Whoo hoo

Woohoo Michelle, what fantastic news!!! So glad to hear it sweetie, and congrats on another boy!
Thanks girls :)
Deb - there is def no tightening, but i do have some feeling of pressure in the bum :o hopefully ob gives me all clear tomorrow.
Michelle - your news has definatley, 100% brightened this thread :D
Not to detract from Michele fabulous news but Im a proud mummy and want to share......
Why? Because Stellan has decided today is a good day to take his first steps..........and keep on walkin! He's taken a few steps here and there but nothing solid; and also been standing himself up. In the last 30min he's just stood himself up and off he trots; then falls over, claps and laughs then does it all again. So between that, learning to clap and learning to wave its been a big week for the Stellmeister.
Sad for me though because it means he's not my baby anymore and that much closer to being a toddler :(
Guess my booty will lose its jiggle now I'll be chasing 3 errant boys around the place
Never a detraction Freya ;) And can you get the Stellmeister to give my DD some hints  Lazy little monkey happily stands there for ages but point blank refuses to take a step
I am so happy to see the excitement of this thread - it is bubbling from me at the moment but I feel good things surrounding us. Can't wipe the smile from my face :D
Michelle, grinning from ear to ear right now. :D So very pleased that things look good. On the walking front - Sam's been off and running since Christmas. Some time with other mobile little people might help - that's what got Sam going. Then again, you have another mobile little person - surprising that hasn't been enough for her!
Well, Sam appears to be a lot better. DH has reported that his appetite has returned and he ate breakfast and lunch... then I get home from work and he refuses to eat dinner! DH is sick as well, though... and I'm just hoping and praying that I can avoid getting sick (will be a small miracle if I stay well), especially this early in the school year. Still living in arthritis hell and basically just miserable. But taking a day off this early would not be good - my classes have not yet been beaten into submission and there's a few that require a lot of beating before I can relax. Not enjoying it at the moment, but hoping things will improve as time goes on.

Michelle WOOHOO on the fabulous results..Thanks soooo much for the text earlier and like I mentioned I can't believe how clever your man is for being able to pick the gender yet again ;)
I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo very happy for you all
Oh and as for Lily..don't worry that she's not off and running yet...Sage didn't take off until he was 14 or 15 months and now there is absolutely no stopping him.He didn't do the few steps here and few steps there thing either. He walked around the coffee table no more than 3 times and then he was off all by himself..as in walking a fair distance at a time :0 I'm sure Lily will start when she is good and ready ;)
Freya OMG at Stellan walking..what a clever little boy he is and he'll always be your baby boy ;)
Lisa I hope everything is ok with you. I'm no help on the pain side of things cos I have absolutely no experience with that.
Happy birthday for tomorrow too :)
Janie WOOHOO on all being ok today with bub. I was soooo worried about you last night
Willow PLEASE don't be sorry for the conversation your friends were having. I was ok and honestly expect people to discuss their "experiences" at "events like that. The Priest on the other hand..well lets say hmmmm :shakehead:
I hope you are feeling much better soon too babe
Bun I'm sorry to hear you still aren't feeling great. Do you have to see your Ob again sometime soon?
Michelle Once again WOOHOO!!!!
Ah Michelle enjoy her not walking. Tell her to just wait til after youve had BabyBoy so your not heavily preg chasing two kids (its sucks lol)
All my boys have been early walkers. Trust me to luck out with the ones who want the option of running away sooner rather than later  Just last night Ryan was over for dinner and getting them out of the bath; I went outside to put the rubbish out on the kerb and next thing I see RIPLEY hooning down the street naked as the day he was born, little bum jiggling as he ran  Took me about 3m to catch up and grab him; then try to stifle the laughter while I chewed him out. Guess we'll be hearing about naked nuddy runs alot as he gets older ;)
Michelle - I knew when I logged on that there would be good news. I am so so happy for you. Yey a baby boy (I am jealous)..Don't get me wrong I love my girls with all my heart but it does skip a beat with all the boys around atm..
Janie - Yey for you too. Keep growing little one
Freya - WTG Stellan.
BW - I am glad Sam is getting better and I hope you improve soon.
Lisa - I used to get incredible pressure in the behind and down my legs in the last weeks of pregnancy..Try and put you feet up. All the best tomorrow.
Hi to all, another rough day here. Oh well just go with the flow I suppose.
Michelle, you know how excited i am for you, this is just the best news! I was so excited when i saw your text! Congrats on having a boy, how wonderful :D. Hope you get a good sleep tonight ;)
Freya: WTG Stellas! What a clever little lad.
Bun: I often think that when I hear about baby girls. I love love love having boys but I would also like a daughter one day
Lisa: I know exactly what you're talking about. I had aches, pains and pressure from early on this time. Hope the ob puts you're mind at ease tomorrow.
Janie: wonderful news today babe. Keep baking that beautiful baby. I don't think I told you but I have a strong blue vibe for you.
Good day here. O is testing the boundaries a bit but I think it has just dawned on him that B is staying. Going to make a real effort to give him one on one time.
Michelle: your news has made my day and I'm going to bed with a big goofy grin.
Lv Spring
Michelle, I knew that there had to be some good news in here sooner or later.
Janie, Yay for a good ultrasound! Steady growth is great! When is your next ultrasound?
Freya, It sound like Stellan had a huge week! It makes me sad to think that it will be Grayson soon and he won't be my little baby anymore.
Kel, I hope that you are okay after your fall. I did that when I first found out that I was pregnant with Grayson and all was well.
Lisa, I had a lot of pain and pressure with Grayson. I think being pregnant 3 times so close together was a lot for my body.
Bonham, I always went back for a second blood test in 48 hours.
jlk, how are you doing? When is your next Dr. Appt?
Bek - I am worried about you. Talk to us, that's what we're here for
Hoping to get in to see our GP today although I am feeling slightly better - but the same thing happened yesterday then in the afternoon I crashed and burned!
Will BBL....
Just dropping in to say woohoo Janie and Michelle  Yay for your fabulous news!
BBL for some persies, got to get DD1 to school and go to the dr....
Michelle - you already know how relieved and happy we are for you - phew, sigh!!! Hope your heart is more at ease now and you can sail happily through the rest of your pregnancy - and lovely news that you have another little man on board!
Hi to everyone else - got to go as both babes are asleep and I really need to achieve something with my day!!
Lee xo
hey girls,
thanks again for your reassuring advice. OB pretty much said the same thing - she is happy with me overall but sending me for a scan tomorrow morning to be sure.
Hope your all well, having a nightmare with our cars atm. my new car is in the workshop, konked out the other night and DH's car overheated yesterday :wall: now we are sharing mums little car and i have all these appts. Lucky for me my little brother is home and being a good chauffer! He was so excited to hear the baby's HB today :D
ANyhow, gotta fly,
Lis xx
That's great news Lisa!
How are you today Bonham? I hope your results are in soon & they are wonderful ones...
Lisa: sorry to hear you & DH are having problems with your cars, they can be a PITA at times.
Willow: did you manage to get into see your GP?
Thanks for asking about me Ianna, i rang 10mins ago to be told the results are in but my dr hasnt looked at my results yet but she'll leave a note for him to look at them and ring me back.
I'll BBL
hey beautiful ladies.
Firsty SO SO HAPPY for you Michelle  Its made me smile from ear to ear.
Janie - Oh great news on the ultrsound!!!
Freya - OMG walking, what a clever little boy. He must just want to get up and chase the boys, lol.
:hello: to everyone else.
Had a photo shoot at my place today, little girls in clips :D Looking very adorable!! Though miss Evangeline freaked my friends SIL out. There family had lost a baby to SIDS aswell, and poor Vanessa hasn't "seen" Evangeline when she is in a deep sleep. Poor woman started to freak, cause Evangeline was not responding to her being poked. Fee tears happened. Im glad though its not only me that has seen her asleep like this. But did it have to be to a SIDS aunty :(
OMG also noticed ive been RAK. lol, i started crying. I want to send a HUGE BIGGEST thankyou to whoever did it???
Anyway im popped lol, and all i did was watch the kids.
Rach
Congratulations Michelle, I bet you are very, very relieved, it is great news.
My OB called to let me know that my final amnio results are through and bubs has no chromosomal abnormalities so we are relieved here too. 20 week scan is scheduled for next week. After swimming lessons today, DS and I went and met his FDC mum for the first time, she is really gentle and gorgeous so I'm happy someone so lovely is looking after my babe.
Lovely days all, x.
BekZ - how are you hun?
Hey guys,
Just wanted to check in on Jo.. have you got the results yet?? I'm praying they're good.
Lisa - Glad everything is ok hun and enjoy the scan tomorrow.
I'm so glad things have turned around in here.. I hope it's a sign of things to come. I wasn't going to mention anything but I went out and bought some HPT's today.. I'm convinced that there's no way in hell I could possibly be pg again already.. I haven't even had an AF after the D&C but I'm still praying like mad that I am!!! My cycle is all over the place but I'm expecting AF to arrive by the end of the week, so will see how long I can hold out before testing!!! I want to test early though because as soon as I get a BFP, I have to start taking the asprin.. so I think I'll be testing like mad VERY soon. I've got terrible intergestion right now though, it's killing me. DH has had to go back to Perth for work too, so he's away for a few days.. I just hate it when he goes away, especially when it's back to Perth. On a brighter note, DS is starting daycare tomorrow... I'm sooooo excited.
Kel xxx
No news from me, neither my doctor or the pathology lady rang me before end of business, so i'll ring in the morning and hopefully speak to the pathology lady again.
Jo - Hoping you hear something this morning. Good luck.
AFM - Well of course I couldn't help myself and tested this morning (thanks to Janie's words of encouragement last night - LOL).. afraid it's a BFN though. I'm still hoping that maybe I have tested too early but realistically, I think I need to accept that it was never going to happen this quickly. I'm not really sure when AF is due though.. it's been exactly 4 weeks today since the D&C.. but my cycle is not reliable. So if it doesn't turn up in a few days, I'll test again. Feeling a bit crappy and being home alone doesn't help. I've still got really bad intergestion too.. it's been killing me all night.. think I might have to got to the chemist and try and get something to get rid of it.. feels a bit like I'm having a heart attack!!! Not nice.
Kel xx
Hey everyone so many lovely ladies being RAK'ed in here
Well i just rang the pathology lady at my dr's and my dr had looked at my results he just didnt call me back, she said that HCG levels were 47,000 which on the scale she had meant i'm 1-2months, she couldnt be anymore specific. I asked if my dr had left instructions on when to have the next blood test done and she said no but she would find out and ring me back. Yesterday i felt SO nauseated , it wasnt fun and then indigestion kicked in and today i feel nauseated again trying to eat breakfast but not getting very far with it.
Kelly: sorry to hear about the BFN, i know that after my D&C my cycles were longer, before they were averaging 31days and after they were 37days and 41days(i stopped counting when i got the feint BFP). For the indigestion get some tums, it helped me last night and you can get them from Coles in the section where the panadol is.
Jo: those levels sound great :cheer: hopefully the Dr will let you know when to have the next test.
Kelly: sorry about the BFN hun. Hopefully AF stays away and you get a BFP.
Sequoia: wonderful news about the amnio results.. I'm so happy for you .
