Willow - Where are you? Is everything ok with your grandma?
Bek I too am worried about Willow. I sent her a message earlier today on FB but haven't heard back yet. Hopefully she's just busy with her kids and stuff. I know she had a rather busy weekend so she might be trying to catch up on things after that.
Anyway Willow you know you are being thought about ;)
Ok I had a message from Willow a little while ago and she has no internet atm as their modem is broken.
Just wanting to wish Kelly and Lee all the best for your appointments today.
I'm feeling very very flat at the moment. AF has decided tp show her ugly head yet again. I don't understand what my body is doing. I've gone from 35 day cycles to 25 days after D&C and now this one is only 23 days. Its absolute cr*p. I hope she doesn't hang around long this time cos it just seems like the last one only just left a couple of weeks ago :(
Does anyone know if I start taking clomid if it should help lengthen cycles apart a bit?? Sorry I didn't think to ask at my appt on Monday :wall:
Sorry for the selfish post yet again :(
Michelle how are you holding up hun? I constantly think of you,Oscar,Lily and Omar
Deb thinking of you too
Hi ladies, sorry i havent been posting again. I've been doing ok, but havent felt i have much to contribute, i think of you all alot.
It's Everson's EDD today, i'm doing ok considering. Otherwise my pregnancy is going well 19weeks 3days (20weeks on Sunday), we had out 18/20week scan last Friday but didnt find out the gender due to bubba not being very co-operative and the lady was a little rude because DD had had enough.
I'll try to post and contribute more :) thinking of you all
Mako - Hugs hun... I'm thinking of you a lot, it's not an easy time at all. Hang in there though, I'm putting money on the fact that you'll get your dream bubba soon.
Well... I had my 12 week scan today and I'm so relieved, happy, amazed that all is perfect!! Bub measured spot on for dates and was nice and active! All the checks seemed to be really good, although as my bloods were done in Melbourne, they couldn't actually give me my downs testing results... but from the scan side of things, the neck measurement was only 1.9 so that's pretty damn good (I believe)!! So all was looking absolutely perfect and I'm just so incredibly happy.. we're actually having a baby!! DS came with us too.. it was so nice to share it with him.
Anyway must go.. thinking of you all and hope everyone is ok!
Kel xxx
Awesome news Kelly! So glad your feeling better about everything now. Make sure you post some piccies on FB!
KELLY _ Congratulations on such a wonderful scan honey, I was so pleased for you when I read your text message yesterday! How so very exciting!!!! Yay for you!!! Are you finding out what flavour the bubs is???
BONHAM _ Hugs hugs & love to you on Everson's EDD.
Just a quick one from me, it's "Jayne Day" today & my house is a bomb!
Love Jayne
PS _ Look at my ticker!!! Am I loving myself? Oh yes I am!
I'm loving you too Jayne!!!!
Kelly, such fantastic news! I was thinking of you often yesterday :)
Just realised that although I read this thread all the time, I haven't posted for ages . I'm so up and down ATM, and hate to come in here moaning and groaning. Anyway, I'll try to make more of an effort when I have the time...........I'm in the same boat as Lisa!!! You are all very important to me
Love to all xoxo
Janie - What's up chick? What are you moaning & groaning about? If you're having a tough time with things, then shout out & let us know! We can't help you otherwise & that's what we are all here for. How are the boys? How are YOU adjusting to being Mummy to 2 little ones? How is the feeding going?
Michelle - How are things with you? When is your next OB appointment? Are Lily & Oscar behaving more now? How are you coping?
Willow - I'm so sorry, I never wished you a Happy Birthday. I really hope you had a fantastic day & were spoiled rotten. How are the reno's going? What are you having done?
Lisa - Lets start throwing dates around for the catch up when I'm in Melbourne. How close is everybody to the city? We are booked into Mantra on the Park.
Mako - I'm sorry AF is being a royal brat to you, as if you've been through enough. I only hope it gets sorted quickly & you catch the egg with sticky hands VERY SOON!
Kelly - Tell us names you are thinking of!!! Personally I'm fond of the name Jayne for a girl, or I'll settle for the middle name as Jayne at the very least. heheheh
Well I must go get some fruit & veg before I pick up the girls & I have to pay school fees today. Aaaarrrrggghhhh bills are never-ending at our end right now.
Love Jayne
Oh Jayney, I can't believe I forgot to mention it!!!!!!!!!! I am so super excited that you're coming! Only two weeks ago I was saying to Kelly when I saw her that she had to convince you to come over LOL, that i'm dying to meet you. Unfortunately none of us live close to each other............Lisa and I are miles away from each other, Kel is about 25 minutes from me. She's closest to where you are staying (good spot BTW). I know I'm happy to come into the city to catch up, I'm sure Lisa will be too. There's no way I'd want you to all drag yourselves out to the Eastern suburbs  to visit my house that might prove to be a bit squishy for us all! When are you here in September?????
Willow- thinking of you hun. Hope your nan is in a better place and at peace xx
Jayne - im happy to travel anywhere for that catch up - im 30 mins from the city. Cant wait to put it in my diary!
BBL crying bub!
Hi Ladies, just throwing it out there & Kelly you tell me if it's a no-goer, but perhaps we could meet at Kelly's??? My way of thinking is then all the kids are confined & all in one place & it's an easier atmosphere to really girly chat rather than watching for kids at a playground, etc.... KWIM? But Kelly, honestly darl, I hope I haven't over-stepped the mark, or offended you, it's your place, you tell us if you're not comfortable with this. I arrive on Tuesday 28 Sep (my birthday ) & we leave the following Tuesday 5 October. We go to Mary Poppins on Sunday 3 October so that day is out, but pick one of the following days. Eeekkk, this is soooooooo exciting!!! BUN _ Is there any chance you can get up to Melb??? I'd hate to not see you.
WILLOW _ My sincerest sympathy to you & your family on the passing of your precious & much loved Nan. May she now be pain-free & forever in your hearts. xx
Jayne - im happy to have it at my place and Im also happy to go Kelly's way if she is cool with that... Any of those dates is fine with me :)
Michelle - thinking of you sweets, every day. Hope you are keeping sane and the kids are giving you much needed cuddles.
Jo - hope your ok
Off I go again, Miss A needs me!
Willow - My deepest sympathies hun.
Willow: sending you and your family
my sympathy and love :comfort:
Thanks so much girls. I am back online but you know...not great and not all that much to say. I actually did a big post yesterday with personals but it got lost and I didn't have the time or energy to re-do it all! LOL. I'm thinking of you all daily and will be 'back' properly soon. I am not feeling well tonight, have probably caught the cold the boys have had all week. Awesome.
:grouphug:
Mako - Thanks for today, I'm so glad Sage enjoyed it so much. He is such a beautiful little boy. It was good to get out for a while and just forget about the stuff happening with my family. You are a beautiful friend and I am so very grateful to have found you  PS I seriously hope we didn't pass on any unwanted germs!!
Bek - Hope you had a wonderful birthday babe
Willow: :comfort: Hun I hope you are doing ok in the circumstances
Bek: :happybirthday: gorgeous girl!
Willow I should be the one saying Thanks for today. Although I'm pleased I was able to give you some "time out" for a couple of hours away from the other stuff you have going on atm  I'm so sorry to hear that your Nan has passed. I wish I could make this time easier for you
I had to laugh at L wandering around with Wags's tail on though hahaha. He is adorable :) Sage didn't want to take it off when he had a bath tonight lol and even wore it when we went to visit a friend in hospital tonight lol.
Sorry for no more personals. I've just got off the phone to my mum and she has just told me some not so great news about my step dad(he's in hospital and had more surgery this afternoon) so I need to go and talk to DH about what's going on. I'll do my best to get back on over the weekend sometime.
Happy Birthday Bek :)
 to you all
Willow - Hugs.. I'm so sorry to hear about your Nan.. hope you're doing ok.
Mako - Thinking of you and hope all is ok with your step dad.
Jayne/Lisa/Janie - I'm more than happy to have it at my place!!! Lisa, I'm in Balwyn North.. not sure how far that is from you, so let me know if you're happy with that... if it's too far for you, I'm happy to make it elsewhere... I'm easy!! How exciting!!!
Jayne - I've been sooooo busy catching up with people and organising Luke's birthday party that I haven't had time to text you about a Perth catch up... I'm thinking next Tuesday avo if you're free... but will text in a minute!!
Bek - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Michelle - Still thinking of you every day and praying that you're coping as best possible. Massive hugs.
Sorry guys... I'm exhausted and can't think straight (that's how tired I am). I finally finished making Luke's birthday cake for tomorrow (it's a train and it's a bit wonky but hey, it's done)!!! I've also got some chocolate brownies in the oven as we speak.. busy busy. I'm nowhere near as organised as I'd usually be but then again, not many people can make it to the party anyway, so I'm sure it will be ok. I can't believe my little boy will be 3 tomorrow.. where has the time gone! Then my Nanna has her 90th birthday on Sunday (which is really why I'm over here)!! We're having both party's here at my Mum's, so it's giong to be a very CRAZY weekend for us.
Anyway I'm tired and I'm rambling... so must go. Hope everyone is as well as can be.
Kel xxx
Kelly - HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUKE!! Hope he has an awesome day :) and im more than happy to come your way Kel!
Thanks for my Birthday wishes everyone.
Mako - I got the mail you sent me. Thanks very much
Happy Birthday Luke.
Willow, I am so sorry, I must have missed something............my sympathies to you and your family on the loss of your beloved nan
Happy 3rd Birthday Luke. I hope you had a great time at your party and enjoyed your train cake :)
Bek I'm pleased your mail arrived ;)
I'm exhausted. DH and I helped do a "backyard blitz" type thing for a very good friend of ours who underwent an op this week to have his bowel removed. He's doing relatively well considering what he's gone through and will have to go through in the future. Anyway we reno'd his front/back yards, painted the kitchen, dining rooms and general clean up of the yards. He has no idea all this work is being done and he'll get a huge surprise on Monday when he comes home from hospital :)
My Step Dad is doing ok too. He's had 2 ops this week and will hopefully be home this week sometime. It's been a week of ops for people we love and care about. I hope things improve for all of them.
On a brighter note my nephew has just been picked for the Australian school boys baseball team. He has been playing in Perth this past week for NSW School boys team and they won every game which is fantastic. I'm a very very proud Aunty :)
Willow Sending you lots of love and  as you say "goodbye" to your beautiful Nan.
Things are very quiet in here lately. I really hope you are all ok and just busy with life in general ;)
Not much to report from me except that I've decided to wait until next month to start Clomid. I've started taking Metformin and folate again now so hopefully something good will happen in the next 6 months or so.
I am reading but just not posting too much. Plodding along with the pregnancy and coping with one day at a time. Not having a good day today - Mondays are always hard. My life changed irreversibly 6 weeks ago today and it always makes me sad and reflective. It is beautifully cloudy today too which reflects my mood and also reminds me that Caitlyn is still around when I need to feel the love. Just wishing I could have a Greggles cuddle to make it all better :(
Willow - thinking of you today as you farewell your Nan. Days like this are so very hard and yet I found the connection with family and friends helped ease the pain of the day
Mako - one change at a time is good  Although I would be taking aspirin as well and I don't think I could have resisted the pull of the clomid. But then again, I am a bad patient ;)
Love to you all. Thinking of you and sending you love and light as we walk this path we are given :grouphug:
 Michelle. I wish I could change things for you hun :(
The Clomid "stall" is only because I was a bad girl and didn't get to a chemist to get it filled in time  Do you think its wise to take asprin before being UTD??? You've got me thinking now lol..Maybe I should just start that too especially if it won't do any harm :dunno:
Thinking of you today Willow
 to you to Michelle....
 to you to Mako....
Mako - I am not sure anything I suggest / would do is wise  I would take it but you need to be comfortable as to whether it would benefit your specific clotting conditions and are you happy to *wing it*.
A cool, cloudy day. Perfect Greg weather. And Orange is freezing so he would be happy.
I'm still around... reading... but just feel like I have nothing left to offer to anyone. It appears very much that I am in the process of losing my job.
I feel like I have failed at everything I have tried - I'm not well enough to stay home with Sam, and can't even keep a job to support my family. Life just sucks. :(
No idea what we'll do when the inevitable happens. DH's job isn't really enough to support us, even though he can go back to working full time without hassles.
BW
Hi girls,
Michelle - Nice to see you pop in my sweets. How are the kidlets? How are you managing atm? Thinking of you and sending you love and hugs xx
Willow - hope today went ok and you found comfort in your family and in sweet memories of your nan
BW - that sux hun, can you get teaching work elsewhere?? How is Sam doing?
We are all good here, baby Nat is doing well, she is a bit of a sooky though but still managing to get 6hrs sleep a night so im coping well with the sooky episodes during the day.
Im off to make dinner, hope to bbl after brothers and sisters,
Lis xx
Hi Ladies,
Just wanted to pop in & say I have just caught up on the reading, we have Alan home atm, so things are crazy busy, but cool.
Had a wonderful catch up with Kelly today. Her belly is soooooooo adorably cute! Looking fab as well might I add.
Am really looking forward to meeting the Mel girls in September/October.
Chat soon!
Love Jayne x
Just had to add a cracker! Alan has just seen the abbreviation 'DH' & his name right next to it & assumed that on BellyBelly the husbands are referred to as d&ckheads. Love it! Classic!
Guilty conscience there Alan lol
BW - big hugs hun, sounds like life is giving you a rough time right now. I hope you get a break soon. As Lisa asked, can you get teaching work elsewhere?
Willow - I am so so sorry to hear about your Nan. I hope the funeral went as well as possible. How is DD coping?
Mako - I am glad to hear that you are on metformin and will start clomid soon. I hope you have some success, and quickly!!
Bek - happy birthday for the other day hun. How is Eva's sleep going now? Looks like I may be joining you in the land of no sleep - DS is turning into a bad sleeper like DD, argh!!!
Michelle - thinking of you as always hun. How are the kids going? Do you have anyone staying with you now?
jayne - I would love to meet with you girls when you are in Melb. I will see what is happening closer to the time and try to arrange a trip with DH. Would be great to see you again!
Melb girls - i am not sure if this will be possible, but thought I would just try and see if we could organise a catch up. I will be in Melb late next week for a few days. Usually when we go to Melb we are pretty busy and I am with DH (and as lovely as you girls are, I think he would be terrified of the prospect of catching up with a bunch of mums and kids he doesn't know!!). Anyway, he has a test flight booked that he got for Christmas so will be at Moorabbin (?) airport for a couple of hours next Fri. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a catch up? The problem is that I am not very comfortable driving in Melb (yes, I am a wuss, but trams scare me, not to mention the whole turning right from the left lane thing!!). Do any of you live anywhere close to Moorabbin or else is there anywhere good to meet around there that you can get to? If not, no worries, I just thought I would throw it out there as I would love to meet some of you lovely ladies sometime :)
I think the reality of the situation is that the school is right. I'm not performing as I should be. It comes down to the way the arthritis is effecting me in terms of pain and fatigue, and the side effects of the meds I'm on for it leaving me in a state of mental fog. Then there's the depression and anxiety issues that have arisen again. Fact is, I'm really not capable of working full time and I feel that it's running me into the ground so badly that I just can't do it any more. We're pursuing some options regarding disability benefits for me... But even if DH goes back to work full time and I stay at home... it will be HARD but we can probably manage. Would be good if he can continue to do some days working from home to help out, but not sure what that would do to his income. It will take some time to sort out what's going to happen... If I was well enough, teaching elsewhere would be a great option. I just don't think I'm up to it right now. :(
BW
What about relief teaching as an option?? Your skills are sought after ones - especially in your specialty field.
Maybe eventually, but not now. I need an exit path - from a job that I love in a place that I hate... I need time to get better both physically and mentally. The thoughts I was having today are pretty damned scary. Eventually I hope to be able to go back... but I doubt it will be to that school. I guess I've just got to the point where I'm tired of putting on the brave face and soldiering on - because it hurts. It hurts like hell and I'm tired all the time, but I can't sleep at night unless I take mersyndol - partly from the pain, partly because my brain won't stop. I can't keep living this way. Time to be honest and be gentle with myself and admit that I'm not superwoman.
 Michelle, I think of you a lot... I wish I had more to offer, perhaps when I get out of this hellish work place.
BW
Morning conversation after a pretty good night of sleeping ;)
DS: the batteries aren't working
DD: why
DS: they've run out
DD: why
DS: I don't know
DD: oh no
 the conversation between a not quite 3yo and a not quite 17mo. Small things to get you through the day. Although it is nice to have DS answer the *why* questions instead of me for a change
Love it Michelle
BW - I am sorry you are faced with such adversity. As Michelle said your skills are sort after and when you are ready to return you'll find a position that is just right. In the meantime please go easy on yourself and take time to heal
Michelle that conversation is a priceless one. Focus on the small things to help you through each day. Like you said its nice that DS was able to answer the "why" questions lol. My DS asks a question and answers himself with "why betause"
BW I wish things were a bit easier for you guys too. Would you be able to work for a tutoring company in your specified field a couple of afternoons for a little while...I'm only suggesting that cos I know the hours aren't too long and its really only afternoons you'd need to be there kwim? A teacher at the primary school we used to go to used to have me for tutoring when I was in high school for the same subject that you teach and it helped me a lot. Just a suggestion ;)
Bun Thank you. I hope the same ;)
Jayne I have to confess that when I first joined BB I too thought DH stood for what your DH thought the other day pmsl. I had to have a quick look to see what all these new abbreviations meant lol.
Willow How are you doing? How did DD go on Monday?
Bek, Deb,Janie,Freya,Lisa,Kelly, Spring and whoever else I missed :hello:
I have a terrible headache this arv so really should get off this computer as it's not helping. I'm pretty sure its stress related though :(
