Lisa - that's a bugger! I am only free on the Fri so not worries if it is not possible, just thought I would see if anyone was nearby. I certainly don't expect you to trek out all that way with your two little ones to see us!
Hey Guys.
Just a quick one to let you know I'm home!!! We had such a great time catching up with friends and family in Perth but it is good to be back to our own home again... I missed my bed more than anything!! LOL. We didn't get home until midnight, so am a bit tired today... but already I feel a bit lonely again. This living away from friends and family is a tough gig... I just got used to three weeks of having them all around. Not to worry, we'll be fine! Still feeling really yuck in the avo's too... so now that I have to start cooking, cleaning and running a house again, it's going to be fun. Our house is a mess. DH has been amazing though and I love him to bits.
Bun - I don't even know where Moorabin is - LOL... Janie... is it close to me??? I'm pretty happy to travel though... makes me get out and about to explore more of Melbourne.. so keep me informed!!!
Jayne - Thanks for the catch up earlier this week.. it was so lovely to see you again.... you're one hot Mumma!!!! You really are looking amazing and I just love catching up... looking forward to having you over here when you get to Melb... exciting!!!
Big hugs to everyone else that needs them (and even those that don't)!! Have another ob appointment on Monday.. still get a bit nervous but starting to get a bit more excited than nervous at each visit!!

BUTTERFLY _ I'm so sorry to hear about your job, you must be stressed to the max about the whole thing. I like Michelle's idea of relief teaching, would you go onto 'casual rates' (which are really good over here anyway?) & it wouldn't be as stressful or full time? What does DH say about it? You're a really great family & I know you will sort something out.
KELLY _ No you are the HOT MUMMA! You look so cute with your little half-basketball happening & your new haircut! I love it! I especially loved a 'mummy catch up', it was really great! Next time will be at your place! I can't wait! Oh & the Barbie mermaid for Jess is a massive hit! She is thrilled to bits with it! Phew!
MICHELLE _ Oh I love the conversations that the kids have! It's priceless sometimes. Our conversations are usually J: Claudia, I'm going to ask you to play with your barbie & even if you don't want me to, you will say yes, ok? C: Ok Jess, I will say yes, but you're not playing with my barbie. It's a crack up! When is your next OB appointment? Have you thought about appointing a 'birth partner'? There is NO WAY on this planet you are doing it alone!!!
BUN _ I"m so glad to hear that you are going to take a road-trip for us!!! How awesome, it's going to be so much fun!!! How is Josh now? Has he learned to sleep again?
WILLOW _ How did your Nan's funeral go darl? How is Miss V with everything? I can't believe your littlest man is cruising!!!!
MAKO _ I hope you're feeling heaps better today sweets. Is Sage over his cold/flu now?
BEK _ WTG on the progress with swapping rooms around. How are the girls going with it now? How is Miss Eva going?
ME _ Well Alan goes back to work tomorrow night, this week feels as though it's flown right by. Jessica is doing really well with her swimming lessons so we have let her try out for the swim club. She has passed the assessment & has completed 1 of the 4 required 'trial' training sessions. She is LOVING it! I was really apprehensive but the coaches are sooooooooo nice to her & it's not at all pushy like I imagined it to be. She is used to doing a half-hour swim lesson per week, but now it's 2 x 1 hour sessions, so I think she is going to be exhausted when the trial sessions are up. Alan is over the moon as his mother used to be in the swim club. It's a big excitement at our place atm. LOL
OMG I have so much to say, and only my left hand to say it with!!!!!
Bun, Moorabbin is not that close for Kel and I, but it's closer than it is for Lisa! I think we should try and do it, would love to meet you! I'll check my diary.
Lisa, have you got a HAB or similar? OMG, LIFESAVER!!!!
BW :(
Michelle, thinking of you always  Love your kids, smarties that they are!!!!
Jayne, I thought the same as Alan when I first joined! I might be coming to Perth in Sept!
Gotta dash, love to all, BBL xoxo
janie - you better not be in Perth whilst I'm in Melbourne!!! :o Do you have family here? Where abouts in Perth will you be? I'm starting to sweat now, I will cry if you're over here while I'm over there!!!
Not sure yet hun, probably the middle of the month though, so we should be safe! We might be going for my cousin's 21st :) Don't worry, we might get to see each other twice
Oh, and my mum will book accomm. for us, prolly in the city or nearby. Our family live NOR, like way North (I think ;))
Janie - I hope you're over there when we're there next... looks like we'll head over in the middle of Sept too, for DH's graduation. So exciting. But don't worry Jayne, we'll definitely be back before you get here!!
Jayne Sage is heaps better now thanks for asking about him ;) He's back to his usual happy self although he has picked up a very very annoying habit of screaching at me all the time :wall:
Sounds like Jess is doing really well with her swimming. You must be so proud of her ;)
How is Claudia doing? I love the conversations that your girls have too lol. Makes me so clucky hearing all these conversations these kids are having with their siblings :)
Kelly I'm glad you had a great time in Perth catching up with your family and friends.
Janie How are you doing hun? How is D coming along? What's N up to these days?
Michelle I'm thinking of you. When is your next appointment with your Midwife/Ob?
Deb Thinking of you too. Have you had any news from your DD1? How is Immy doing?
I had a good talk to my boss yesterday afternoon(she's in the process of hiring another teacher and I had to assess someone yesterday afternoon) anyway she asked me what was happening and how I was doing and everything just kinda blurted out about the latest 2 m/c's and stuff :o Anyway she was very sincere about everything I told her and she did tell me that she and her DH are thinking about ttc again in October so atleast I have been "warned" that she may have another baby sometime soon. I'm pleased she told me that and she hasn't told any of the other girls so I can kinda prepare myself for when the time comes that she does become pregnant if that makes sense.
Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
My DH is away this weekend but he'll be back tomorrow sometime hopefully before our visitors arrive. They only asked if they could come and stay yesterday when DH called them to see if a parcel had arrived and they asked if they could stay tomorrow night as they have an appointment in town early Monday morning. So needless to say I've spent today trying to get this house cleaned up as best as I can without a vacuum cleaner as my Dyson has something wrong with it and thats not good when we have a 2 year old who drops stuff on the floor and a dog who loves being inside lol.
Hi lovelies,
Sorry have been mia, reading but not posting much atm, and to be honest am finding the new forums so SLOW to move around in! Am feeling a bit better, the AD's have kicked in and I'm not so drowsy, I think they are helping and I'm a bit more chilled out. Getting ready to head to Adelaide for a holiday this Wednesday to stay with a DH1's family - I have not been there for 5 years, and I know it's going to be emotional, but I feel I need to "face it", am taking the whole family too, so all 6 of us will be there! May not get online much, but will report back in when I get back.
Am thinking of each and every one of you, especially Michelle.
Love Amanda xo
LEE _ The trip to Adelaide sounds like it's going to be very helpful for you, especially given your recent appt's with your Dr & your diagnosis & the AD's. I'm on Team Amanda for a successful trip! Good luck & wonderful news that the whole crew is going to be joining you.
MAKO _ Sounds like the 'talk' with your boss was a good thing honey. Now she knows where you are coming from & what you have been through, plus she had an opportunity to let you know where she is headed as well. Glad your little man is well again - there is nothing worse! Can we talk you into a trip to Melbourne in Sep??? :D
Just a quick one from me, I'm just about to prepare dinner. I really have to get back onto my WW Wagon as I not only fell off the damn thing, but I think it ran me over while I was down because I just can't seem to pick myself back up again!!! hahaha Alan left last night, so that helps with things as there will be no restaurant dinners or lunches happening & now that Jess has swim club 2 nights per week but that I'm not allowed to stay & watch, I have time to come home & prepare dinner rather than getting take-out on the way home, which was our Monday night thing. So I need to get back to eating healthily again & fast!!! We had a birthday party at Ice Skating this afternoon. OMG Jessica is unreal on ice skates! She needed no assistance whatsoever. As for Claudia, well she wasn't a fan of her 'skeeters' but she did manage 2 laps of the rink. My toes are still thawing out now!
Hope everybody had a great weekend!
Love JS
Mako - Glad to hear DS is better and I also think it's great that you had a good chat to your boss. I know how hard that must of been and I'm very proud of you! Well done!
Jayne - I can't believe how well Jess is doing with her swimming... so fantastic!! And good work with the ice skating.. I used to love ice skating back in the good old days!!
Lee - Good luck with the trip to Adelaide, I also think it will be really good for you, albiet a bit difficult. Hugs.
Michelle - Constantly thinking of you hun and praying that you're hanging in there 'as best as possible'. Please let us know how you're going!
Deb - Thinking of you too hun and hoping you're doing ok!
Lisa & Janie - how are those gorgeous bubs of yours doing??
Hope everyone else is doing ok... thinking of you all.
AFM - Had another OB appointment today.. I can't believe I'm 14 weeks now.. never thought we'd get here!!! It's very exciting and we could of found out the sex today, our OB knows but we resisted, mainly because we've got a date that the baby will be born now (c-section) so we need at least one surprise. Everything is looking absolutely perfect and she was really, really, really happy with the results from the downs testing, so that's good!! It's sooooo weird knowing the date this early but its good as we can start planning everything... when Mum comes over and when we can get back to Perth with bub!!! Anyway enough rambling from me.
Kel xxx
Hi guys,
Lee - good to hear from you, I had been wondering how you have been. Sounds like this trip is coming at a very helpful time for you - I hope you enjoy your stay hun
Jayne - WTG Jess, that is fantastic! You guys must be very proud of her :)
All this talk of being in Perth in Sept - it looks like we may be back living there by Sept! Not sure yet, but DH's work are talking of sending him back soon for another position. it will be good to be back around our families (and where we can get a lot more help with the kids), but we have only just settled in here! I don't really want to go back yet, but we'll see what happens. It is certainly better than Texas which is where they were talking of sending us a while ago!
Kelly - I hope your appointment went well today
mako - glad to hear that you had a chat with your boss hun. Enjoy your visitors :)
Melb girls - the only time I am free (ie - DH will be busy and not wanting me to be out doing stuff with him!) is for a couple of hours from around 11.30 on Fri. We will be staying at a serviced apartment in Brighton, so you guys are welcome to come hang out with us there or somewhere nearby, otherwise I can try and get to to you but would need to drop DH off at Moorabbin first and will then need to be back in 90 mins to pick him up again, plus I tend to get hopelessly lost and freaked out by trams in Melb, so I am not sure if I would even get out anywhere in the time I have! If you guys can't do it I will not be offended at all, I know I am really putting you all out by seeing if you can come to me and I understand how hard it can be to get around Melb, esp with kids. So no worries if we can't make it happen, I can always try to catch up with you another time when we are in Melb :)
Mako hopefully by the time your boss is pg you will be as well so it won't be such a big hurdle to cross over. It's good that you were able to caht so closely with her. Glad to ehar DS is doing better.
Jayne wow on your clever little girl. Swimming and skating! How old is she? My DD tried dancing, gymnastics, swimming and minkey when she was in primary school but due to a hip condition she couldn't continue any of them as it caused her too much pain :(
Lee I hope you manage to enjoy the trip to Adelaide. That is my favourite city after Hobart lol. My sister lived there for a few years after she was married so I had 3 visits over there, the last one was for 5 months as she had a stroke and we stayed with her til she was able to travel back to Hobart to live near family.
I am popping in and trying to catch up but DS1 is a very clingy mummys boy.
hugs
Jude
What is the date again Bun? Happy to come to you if I'm free :)
Janie - I am free tomorrow if that suits you? From around 11.30am. I will PM you my mob no. and will pop back on line later today. We are staying on Bay st in brighton and have just arrived. If you're not free, no worries!
I'm baaaaaaaaack! Finally, after a few months of computer troubles we finally found someone to fix it :cheer: and I don't have to type posts on my iPhone. I'm so glad and promise to be in here more often now.
Promise to keep up with my persies also.
I can't tell you how nice it is to type with all my fingers not just one.
Spring xx
Yay Spring!
Well I thought I should up date a little as I am aware it's been a while & I haven't been around as much. A wise woman told me about 12 months ago that it was going to get a whole lot more stressful than I could imagine. She was right and then some.
So, DD14 is still gone. I have heard nothing from her. She is still insisting I am not given information on her. My heart was broken into so many pieces when she left that I couldn't imagine collecting them all together again. But of course I have! I am a Woman & a Mama & this is a test of my strength of conviction in mothering. I have learned there is more to a Mama than wiping bums, noses, abc's, virtues, etc etc. There is having your heart broken so incredibly that it feels close to death, then realising that you can't die as there are others to live for. So I can thank her for that. In the depth of this I have been able to bathe in the love that I feel for her and for the others - but as you all know there is nothing like the love you have for your first born child. She (or he) teaches about a depth of emotion that we didn't even know we had the capabilities for. When it is threatened it creates a gaping pain that there is no analgesia for. It's been horrific.
However, through any pain there is always beauty - always. My life has taught me that if nothing else. I have watched my other children grapple with the loss of their sister in different ways. DS9 with a lot of masculinity that I haven't seen in him quite like this before. He has stood ferociously beside me, stroked my head, laughed, cried, yelled at the sky and tromped at the ground. DD7 my ever ever empath cried and nurtured and told me I was beautiful, good and amazing. My DD6 - just touched me with her bewilderment, but ability to get on with whatever life thows so long as she has me and her family. Immy spent a week or so looking for DD14 and now she doesn't ask any more...
DD7 moved into her sisters room and I smudged it, redecorated it and sadly packed away my oldest childs belongings, folded them all neatly, sprayed them with my perfume and sent them off so she knew that she was welcome to her things. Keeping of course aside the teddy I had bought her whilst she still gestated inside me, the quilt I sewed her & bits of her I couldnt let go...
Finally he engaged another lawyer - number 4 in 10 months. He wants to settle out of Court - at least that's what the letter of last week said. He also gives his permission for me to relocate... So that's a good thing.. ;)
However he hasn't replied to my offer & Court is scheduled for Monday morning at 9.30am. I am nervous, twitchy and angry that he is such a tosser... :wall:
I spoke to DD14 social worker on Thursday - gorgeous woman & she and I drank coffee and talked for a couple of hours. She still hasn't been given a "reason" for DD14's leaving or her unwillingness to engage with me. Then today I was phoned by the psychologist who DD14 is seeing and he asked me if I would be willing to discuss some stuff with him present and FWOTY. I said I absolutely would be happy. I think it was connected to the fact that DD14 told the Social Worker that FWOTY had told her I was refusing her permission to see her siblings. Ridiculous saying this to DD14 as I have it all in writing that I have offered him & her access to the kids through a contact house. The girls really believe FWOTY is holding DD against her will as her behaviour was so opposite to now before she left. There is a lot of fear for them. For DS it's just anger. He is so angry at his father, angry at his sister. It's saddening.
Friday was a pearler. Sloppy's 3 year old twins go to kindy at ny kids school. I was phoned and told that FWOTY had dropped her kids to school but after school had gone in... So he showed some descretion. All good. (gotta love small towns!)
I picked my kids up off the bus (they bus the kids from the rainforest up to the park in town to stop dust etc) at the end of the day... Mr Wonderful (FWOTY) picked up Sloppy's twins, cuddling one, holding the hand of the other and then waltzes around the school - sees my 2 DD's says hi... :o By this time someone screeches around to DS to say his Dad's at school talking to his sisters. DS thinks he's stealing them... He runs up to him and then FWOTY tries to hug him - DS tells him to get away from him and he doesn't want to see him or have her kids around him... FWOTY drives off with Sloppy's twins. It made for a great scene at the bus stop.
Who the hell does this????
So today at school I see Sloppy & she literally ran away... Gosh it was funny & did I feel just for a nano second omnipotent! :D
The meeting with the psychologist went horrendously - the FWOTY informs me he gave DD14 my affidavit to peruse (obviously irresponsible and outrageous)... I realise that he tells her everything with no "okay filter" in place. I also painfully faced since the meeting above that there is nothing I can do to help my relationship wiht my daughter whilst she is with her father. I have let go completely. It has been unspeakably difficult.
He has moved out of Sloppy's & I believe he's back living with his mate that he moved in with before he rented his own place. This will be completely because the income into the household with him and Sloppy together would be about $350k p/a - this would mean he would likjely get a lesser settlement. So he's done this for the time being until Court is over. He is such a kniving *&^%^&...
Anyway my darlings know this is why I have been so scant. I am truly only just holding it together here. I am walking a very very very thin line of being okay. Stress is outrageous, my blood pressure isnt controlled at the moment, I have lost all my weight that I accumulated with 11 pregnancies (that's the positive!)... I just want you to know I have been here all the time, just unable to articulate my pain in a way that makes any sense. I have felt very very alone.
So Court in Brisbane monday morning at 930am. My gorgeous friend & soul sister whos been with me through my adolescence, men, marriage, births, deaths, divorce and everything in between is coming with me... Kids are organised. I am just a bit stressed... ;) Say some prayers & hold my hands through this latest distress please. xxx :grouphug:
Deb, will be thinking of you as always. I hope Monday goes as smoothly as possible.
Life here is in a process of upheaval. I've been off work for two weeks, will be off for another week, and in reality probably will not ever return other than to collect the last of my belongings and be formally farewelled. Physically and mentally I just can't do it any more. After going through so much to simply have Sam here, I can't go on giving all that I have to other people's children and having nothing left for him at the end of the day. DH will be returning to full time work and I will be applying for a disability support pension as the state I am in right now is just that bad... and doesn't look like changing any time soon, if ever.
At least I will be free to meet with people during the week again, which will help my mental health return... just not sure if my physical health will ever approach any kind of normal any time soon.
BW
Deb, I think of you often lovely  I'm sorry things are so terrible and trying for you. It sounds as though you are holding together marvelously well, under the circumstances. I'm so glad your lovely friend will be with you on Monday......please know that I'll be thinking of you and sending plenty of positive vibes xoxo
BW
LANEY!!!!!! Are you there lovely?
Oh Deb you are going through so so much right now. I wish I could make some difference in your world for you. I'll be with you in spirit on Monday and really do hope things work out well for you.
As for your DD she will eventually come to her senses and will realise how silly she is being, but it will obviously be in her own time. I can't begin to imagine how heartbreaking this time is for you or your other beautiful children. Atleast they have their own minds and can see how things are for themselves and especially that they can see FWOTY is acting aswell :shakeshead:
Atleast you are able to relocate when you are ready too aswell. Do you think you'll still move to Melbourne in the future?
Sending you all my love and support
BW I'm sorry you are having a tough time with work and your illness. I'm sure Samuel is loving having him mummy at home though.
Janie How is Daniel doing? I often think of you and wonder how you're all doing.
Kelly I'm not too sure if I congratulated you on your wonderful Ob appt the other day so Congrats. I'm pleased things are going well for you now ;)
Spring Woohoo on having your computer back. I'd be so lost without mine although I don't do anything too major on it (just BB and FB really) lol.
Lee I hope you are enjoying yourselves in Adelaide.
Hi to everyone. I am thinking of you all too.
Sorry for no more personals. I'm feeling a bit down atm but I'm sure I'll pick myself back up again sometime soon.
Janie, thanks for asking about me. I do pop in to read and see how everyone is doing. I think of all of you often. I just don't feel like I have very much to offer right now. We are almost to "that" point in this pregnancy. I have my appt. on the 14th. Parker and Shelby measured a week behind at my 17 week scans. I am just barely holding it together most days. I just want this little boy to be healthy. Hopefully after the 14th I will be able to relax a tiny bit....
How is Daniel doing? Is his reflux getting any better?
Deb, Michelle, Mako, BW I really hope things start to look up for you soon.
Hello lovelies,
Deb - oh hun I cant imagine how heartbreaking the situation with DD14 is but like all girls, she will come home to her mamma one day. Right now she is an angry teenager, and when the anger fades she will need to feel her mamma's love and arms around her. BTW FOTY is a total *********! How is the gorgeous Immy doing?
Kelly - Im so happy things are going well its great to have a new pregnancy in here!
Janie - how are your gorgeous boys? Me thinks we should organise a catch up for next month if you and Kel are up for it? Id love to meet little Mr D.
Anna - hope stellan is better.
Laney - sending you love and support sweety for your appointment.
Mako - Im sorry your having a bit of a rough time sweets. Im sure the universe will throw something special your way, it just has to xx
BW - Hope you have some improvment soon sweety and for now, make the most of being home with your gorgeous boy.
Michelle - thinking of you every day sweets. Only a few weeks to go til you meet your new son - hoping that physically all is well. Emotionally, well Im sure that changes from day to day, and I know that George's arrival will fill you with new love and hope, and will bring you a small piece of Greg that will for a moment warm your heart and soul. Hope Oscar and Lilly are well.
Jayne - im so excited about your trip to Melb!
A big cheerio to everyone else.
AFM - all is well. Natalya is just soooo cute, her smiles are so radiant and they really do light up my heart every time. She has the most amazing eyes, ones that are knowing and full of light. She generally feeds well, but her sleeping could be better especially during the day. She is a cat napper. Miss A is going great guns and I just cant believe how much she growing and learning. Only problem there is she has started waking in the middle of the night, this morning she was up at 4am, walked to the couch with her blanky and pillow and fell asleep again. She is still there and I couldnt lift her up to bed because of my back. I need to loose weight ladies, any tips on how to diet while BF?? Im on the teadmill most days but i need to look at doing something with my eating if I really want to shed some kg's.
I hope you are all well and I do think of you all daily, I just dont have time to post much and since Michelle lost Greg I dont feel the same about posting. I know Michelle if you are reading this you will scold me, but I dont know what it is, its the sadness for you, the guilts that I still have my DH or just a combination of things. Michelle was the first person to welcome me to BB and has been in my on line world and my heart ever since and I still feel so much pain for her. I hope those of you who are seeing her this week light up her day. Sorry ladies I just had to get that out there.
Hoping your all having a lovely Sunday with lots of hugs from your precious babes xx
Lisa
Yes Lisa - I wil scold you  My world at this point in time is incredibly sucky (and that is an understatement). It is hard on many levels and I am physically finding it difficult to do what I need to do, just because I am 32 weeks pregnant and carrying two toddlers in a house with multiple stairs. Even a trip to the shops hurts and I usually have someone else to push the trolley and no children with me. I am sad, lonely and overwhelmingly missing the man who should be here giving me a cuddle and making everything ok. I hate being dependent on others and on days like today (not a good one) I just physically hurt with the grief. The little things like sharing the parenting load, the wakeups and the early morning get ups and someone who loves your little ones as much as you do are my realities that no longer exist.
BUT I keep reading here to keep me centred. To help me connect with a world that has the *normal* ups and downs. To remind me there is another life out there and one day (I hope) I will be part of that kind of normal again. I need that reality because the dark place I currently live in can become all consuming without a focus point outside. I have a friend (same age as me) having chemo for a nasty form of breast cancer and both of us want to help the other. Despite our own situations, it is much easier to give to others and to focus on helping them than it is to wallow in your own pain. Other people and their problems are a distraction form the reality ;) - especially when the reality is a horrible place to exist.
So keep posting, keep complaining about the normal issues you are having and keep telling me about the good things too. Give me a chance to live vicariously in your life. And make sure the lessons you receive from me are to make the most of every minute you have. Love with all your heart, enjoy every smile, breathe every breath.
The love and support I receive from this little group is beyond words. It is beyond the space of BB. It is phone calls and messages and prayers and knowing that I am in your thoughts often that reminds me I am surrounded - even when I feel very much alone :grouphug:
Michelle - Thinking of you constantly hun, you are an amazing woman who deserves so much more than what life has dished out to you... there has to be some wonderful things coming for you... all in time... and starting with George.
Lisa - Would definitely love a catch up ANYTIME!! Lets organise something. Also... I know how you feel about posting (I think we all do) but please don't stop!! I'm trying as hard as I can to keep going but often wonder if I've said too much or maybe not enough... iykwim.
Laney - Thinking of you too hun and praying that all will be ok. I hope the next few weeks go quickly and you are somehow able to relax a little (if that's possible)!
Mako - Massive hugs.. you have also been through so much lately and I just know there has to be some good news around the corner. Hope you're feeling a bit better today and thanks for your support (I know it's hard and I really do appreciate it).
BW - Hugs.. sounds like you're going through an incredibly tough time right now too and I hope things start to look up for you. I can imagine it's even harder becuase it seems to be out of your control.
Deb - OMG.. I honestly can't believe what you're going through right now. FOTY continues to outdo himself and it's so disappointing. You sound like you're dealing with it in the best possible way (you absolutely amaze me with your strength). I'm glad you're focusing on the things that are important (and that you can somewhat control). Good luck for Monday.
Spring - Glad you're back - Woo Hoo!!
Bun - Sorry we didn't get organised enough for a catch up.. I've been feeling a bit yuck still and have been desperately trying to get this house in order again! Hopefully we'll catch up next time you're in town!!
Lee - Hope you're enjoying Adelaide.. thinking of you.
Jayne - What's this I've been reading about Hives (on FB)?? Hope you guys are ok!
Big hello to everyone else that I've missed... I'm not really with it - LOL!!
AFM - All going well.. still feeling a bit yuck and having trouble eating dinner every night but still so thankful and excited about it all. My tummy is growing at a pretty good rate and I'm just loving having boobs again... it's the BEST!! LOL. Luke is great too.. we took him to the footy last night (DH got tickets from work) and he was brilliant. Was a late night but he coped well and fell asleep in the car.. so he slept in big boy undies last night (becuase I didn't want to wake him).. and he stayed DRY!!! He's ususally dry overnight but I haven't wanted to do the whole changing sheets in the middle of the night thing, so kept putting him in pull ups. Don't know whether to try and go there yet or not.. nights are supposed to be harder aren't they??? I didn't expect him to be ready for it just yet.
Well not much else going on... still waiting to feel some good movement from bub so I can start to relax a bit more (I know it's early but my placenta is at the back again and they keep tellling me I should feel movement early... and I felt it early with DS, so I'm just expecting it now)!!! And, I knocked the top of my leg really hard they other day and have the most amazing and massive bruise of my life!! It's seriously disgusting and HUGE... and ther's a massive lump. I don't think the asprin is helping (as I'm still taking it for this pg). Not nice.
Enough from me... I'm trying to keep the good news coming in here and trying to stay positive and happy (not easy for me right now)!! I'm praying there's some more good news in here soon.. we deserve it. Massive hugs.

Just a quick one from me this time but I have to share....I'm so proud of Sage this afternoon without me or DH sitting in his doorway  This is the 1st time he's ever done this so I'm stoked!!!
We have travelled such a long and tough road to get to this point and we finally did it today. I'm not expecting him to do it again tonight but we shall see :)
Kelly Woohoo on Luke wearing undies to bed last night and staying dry too  I bet you are so proud too ;)
Sorry for no more personals but I need to get dinner organised.

Hi ladies,
A quick naughty post from me because I'm at work. My home computer has completely crapped itself, have no idea what to do - whether to take it in for repairs or just buy the laptop Alan has been talking about???
Claudia has been really ill with tonsilitis & I have been really sick with hives. I have no idea where i got them from - it's a regular thing for me, last time I had them was 2 years ago to the week, which is freaky, but I have been taking the meds I have been prescribed, only thing is each time I stop taking them, they come back, so I had taken them for double the time & will stop tomorrow & hopefully they will be gone.
I feel so left out that I can't post properly! I really need to get myself back online.
Oh yeah, now I have lost 11.3kg and I'm loving the new me! Claudia is about 14kg & I have nearly lost a toddler!!! I can't believe I was carrying around a toddler! It's disgusting!
I'm thinking of everybody all the time!!!
Love Jayne x
I think we all need some huge  in here right now. I am thinking of you all and what you are all going through. I hate that such lovely women have to go through so much when you deserve so very much better.
Deb - BOL for today hun, I hope all goes well. I can hardly imagine how much this must be hurting. I am confident though that DD14 WILL come back. She will see FWOTY for what he is eventually, but is probably very confused and hurt right now. You are a wonderful mum and she will remember that. And your other littlies sound like absolute gems.
laney - huge huge  hun, things must be so hard right now. We are all thinking of you. Keep talking to us sweetie.
BW - I am so sorry to hear how awful you are feeling right now. However I am glad that you will get to see your gorgeous little boy more often and I am sure he will love it too!
mako - how are you doing hun?
Lisa - it is lovely to hear how precious your baby girl is. The smiles just melt your heart!! I also need to lose some weight but am finding it very hard while BFing. I don't want my milk affected, but I would like to lose a few kilos. I have started exercising but I also need to look at how much I eat! The trouble is that I am hungry all the time.
Michelle - you are the most amazing person. I have no idea how you are even holding it together but you also have the strength to come in here and read our posts and scold us for feeling bad for you! I am in awe hun. You are such a strong woman. I wish I was closer and could help out, even just sit with you in the evenings (as I know that is the time when I miss DH the most when he is away), and being so pregnant must make even the most mundane things so very hard.
Kelly - glad to hear that your pregnancy is going so well. I hope you start to feel some movement soon, and yay on the boobs!!! I feel the same way when I am preggers or BFing.
Hi to everyone else.
I am feeling down too as my sis and her partner of nearly 7 years have just broken up. She is devastated. They had just built a house together and she was wanting to have babies soon, so she feels that her life as she knew it is over completely. Apparently she is hysterical and sobbing constantly. She won't even talk to me because it hurts too much to talk. I hate living away from home at times like these. I just want to hug her and let her stay with us as long as she likes but I feel so helpless over here. I can't stand her hurting so much.
Just a quick one to thank Mako, Willow and Freya (had to think so I didn't write the real names ) for a lovely time catching up today and for the beautiful bears with our babies *in-utero* names on them. They are gorgeous  and Lily was asleep before we got out of the carpark!!! Oscar on the other hand is refusing - again!!! So I am hoping he will stay awake until dinner time and an early night but I am not holding my breath. I would love a nap (perfect weather for it!!) but I doubt that is going to happen.
Well today Greg has been dead for 8 weeks and we have roughly 8 weeks until this baby arrives. Halfway between heaven and hell :( I spent the weekend in tears a lot of the time but not so much today. It is still hard but tomorrow I am doing a course just for me to help in the lead up to the birth of this baby and also to help manage the aftermath. I need to find that mental space to be able to do this so any additional skills will help.
Lisa - hope you got some rest
Jayne - get the new computer. Then set up a wireless network and you can chat to us in any room and even take it to bed ;) Fantastic job with the weight loss too!!!!
Bun - it must be so hard for your sister :( And being away from family is always rough.
Deb - thinking about you today
Big hellos to everyone xx
Michelle, Im so glad we got to see you today. Your belly is beautiful. O and L are gorgeous as always - glad they had fun riding the slides (even if I need to get my fitness up to climb those bloody stairs  ) Glad you all liked the bears
And great to see you too Willow/L/Bubba D and Mako/S. We definately should not leave it so long next time!
That's why you climbed the stairs hun  I did one round and the BH were too much to go again. Poor Lily just wants to play with the big kids but mummy can't help ATM.
Michelle It was great to see you and your adorable babies yesterday. You truly are doing an amazing job in very difficult circumstances
Anna and Willow it was great to see you both and your gorgeous boys too. We really do need to all catch up more often.
Sage fell asleep within 10 mins of us leaving and he didn't wake until I turned the car off in our driveway. I was so happy he slept all the way as the rain absolutely bucketed down the whole way and I'm not too sure I would have been able to concentrate on driving while entertaining a toddler
Bun I'm so sorry to hear your sister is having a very rough time atm. I hope things improve for her in the not too distant future
Jayne Well done on your weight loss
Laney I hope everything is just perfect at your next scan. Please come in here and let us know how you are doing  How is Grayson doing?
Deb I was thinking of you constantly yesterday. How did everything go?
I should get going. I have so much washing to get done and its all going to have to end up in the dryer yet again. Oh well thats what they were invented for wasn't it lol.
Sage had a bit of a shocker the 1st night of trying to get himself to sleep without me sitting in his doorway but last night he was much better. He didn't have anywhere near as many tears nor did it take him very long to fall asleep. Oh and last night he stripped his pj's and nappy off when I was in the shower and he put his seat on the toilet and hopped up and did a wee and a poo all by himself. This is a huge leap forward as he's been telling me for the last month that the toilet seat was too cold and he refused to do a wee except in his nappy or pullup. So today he's in undies again and he's done wee's on the loo. Hopefully this will continue too. Oh and the pullups have disappeared now too ;) Lets see how long this all lasts ;)
Hi to everyone :)
It went okay. He showed himself in complete twathood...
We haven't reached agreement so the next step is a mediation with a Barrister. More money... :wall:
But I won't back down. The kids deserve me to fight for what we are due. It's stressful though & I have an horrendous sinus infection to boot.
HI Ladies,
I'm awfully sorry for such a selfish post, I just got my computer fixed today, finally!! But I just posted in the platinum section, I dont' want to post anything about it in here, as this is more 'public'. Just not in a great frame of mind, am overcome with anxiety, have no idea what to do about anything.
Love Jayne
I totally understand your need for privacy Jayne but wanted to give you a  in here too. Please know that we are all here to support you
Deb well done to FWOTY for being a twat in court on Monday. I can only hope the Barrister sees through him too.
Jayne :comfort: I've got access to plat for mod purposes but I don't post in there. I'll pm you soon.
Kxxx
Hey Ladies,
BW _ How are things with you? Haven't heard from you in a while, wanted you to know that we are all thinking of you.
