Thank you for thinking of me, Jayne. Especially in the midst of everything you are dealing with (I read your thread but didn't have anything useful to add, but I am thinking of you!).
I'm at home today with a sick little boy who couldn't go to daycare and I have to pack for a weekend away - a womens retreat with church and I'm feeling kind of guilty about leaving Sam for the first time while he's sick, but he adores daddy so will probably not even notice I'm gone.
On the work front - I have resigned. As of the end of this term I will no longer be a teacher. At least not in that school anyway. I will be pursuing some stuff with the union - lodging a letter of complaint with the school and possibly pursuing a workers compemsation claim. The school has offered to pay me until the end of the term without even requiring me to show up, but I'm going to get medical certificates to cover my arse on that one! So I guess my return to life as a stay at home mother has begun. Really unsure as to how we'll cope financially and having major attacks of the guilts over this one move making it virtually impossible for Sam to have another sibling... when there are potential siblings sitting in a freezer at an IVF clinic it puts an interesting spin on things.
Anyway, my little munchkin has just absconded with my keys and he has a doctors appointment later today so I'd best go chase them.
Michelle, Deb, and everyone else - thinking of you also.
