ACUPUNCTURE LISA Its what got Stellan out after days of stops and starts; and then a whole night of 3-5min apart contractions that dialated me a whole ZERO cm's hehe So exciting though, your so close!

Gosh Im starting to get a little jealous of all these pregnant or new mummies; I always loved the excitement leading up to giving birth and having a newborn *sigh* Maybe one day I'll do it all again.

Everyones on the mend sickness wise although Im missing Uni again today because Stellan has a UR tract infection thats making him a teeny bit miserable. He was cleared for daycare but I dont want to send him when he isnt happy. So its study for me today. Tomorrow is a study day for one of my subjects so hopefully he is feeling much better tomorrow and they can all go so I can finish my assignment. Otherwise everythings going to poop I think I might have made a huge mistake moving back in with Ryan; taking on Uni............

On a positive note, bootcamp starts tonight and I am so looking forward to it. Im prob NOT going to be after Ive started cause Im sure I'll be sore and sorry but its worth it haha

Hi girls. I am here. A few computer issues and just feeling very, very tired. We have reached the half way mark but that also sends me on the path to 25w3d as the next milestone. Getting more movements which is great but just hanging in there until the next step. The little people are having there moments on and off so sleep has been a little bit disrupted. DH and I have been working opposite shifts too so I don't feel like I have had a day off or a *rest* day for ages. Work is busy (tonight was a shocker!!) and I am just not doing well in this humidity. It is making me feel sick and I hate feeling this way when otherwise I feel pretty fabulous

I promise to come back to posting very, very soon.

Lee Anniversaries are so hard. They never seem to get any easier. Caitlyn's EDD passed by the other week and (as usual) her rose sent me a flower and it rained. Gotta love the girl - she is nothing if not consistent LOL I hope you found some peace amongst the tears.

Janie - you are doing so well and don't you forget it!!!! With all of the pressures you have ATM it is not surprising at all that DS1 is acting out My little man was doing the same in the weeks surrounding the amnio results and the anomaly scan. Little monkeys know how to push our buttons as well as being clever enough to pick up on the stress. I am off for the next 2 days so if you need to chat then call me *mwah* Hang in there - you really are doing a fantastic job under really tough circumstances

Football starts this weekend so I am looking forward to my *outing* and a few minutes of relative quiet. Not logical for those who know where I will be but you know what I mean. No one calling out to mummy is quiet

BBL ladies - and thank you for checking on me

Jayney poo - skype is on often too

Lisa - I second the acupuncture

Freya - study is a tough gig without the family stuff too

Lee - I'm glad you survived another year.

Deb, Janie, Michelle, Anna - hang in there

Pathetic attempt at personals but that's all I got folks.

Lee sending you another hun.You sure have been through so so much.

Michelle I hope you enjoy your time at the footy. I can't believe its the begining of the season already. Woohoo on passing half way too.

Willow I'm sorry to hear you aren't well now either. I hope the yucky bugs leave your home soon.

Megsmum It was lovely to finally meet you yesterday although I'm sorry I had to keep running off chasing a very busy 2 year old who thought it was funny to RUN away as fast as he could several times lol.

Lisa sending you some more gentle L.V's hun. I'm looking forward to seeing your BA soon

Spring I hope your visit from your MIL is a pleasant one tomorrow
My appointment is on Thursday with Dr S. I have the results of the NK Cells already and they came back perfect but another part of the test wasn't so great but we already knew about that side of things(blood clotting issues). I'll be interested to hear what else he has in mind for us

I had to take Sage to Physio this morning to get his feet checked again and she was sooooo happy and said he's fine and everything he's doing is perfectly within the "normal" range of things which I'm stoked to hear. I have to admit I was a bit concerned especially as a few people had commented on his feet. But I can now reply with "he's fine"

Hi to all of you. I hope you are all ok.

Hi everyone I've missed, hope you are all well.

Sorry, no time for personals but just need to have a little whinge!!

DS has been sooooo up and down with his TTing and I'm getting really frustrated. It's sooo annoying. Every time he seems to get it, we have more accidents!! Over the weekend I gave up again and put him back into nappies which he was fine about. He even said "I want to be a baby again"... then out of the blue, he asked to do wee on the toilet again (and did it). So we're trying again, this time, I've told him no more nappies because as soon as we put pull ups on, he just wees and poos away. So I decided we just have to go for it. He's clearly ready, has done 2 poos in the toilet and comes and tells me he needs to go (sometimes).. then out of the blue, he'll take 10 steps back again. I can tell he needs to go but he gets really angry and says "No, don't need to go toilet" or "don't want to do wees in the toilet" and that will be after a whole day of doing every single wee in the toilet. We even went out to playgroup in undies today and he ran up to me half way through wanting to go to the toilet.. and straight away did a wee in the toilet. I was so impressed, made a big fuss of him and he was so proud. I really thought we'd taken a big step, then another accident at home... when we KNEW he wanted to go... but he wouldn't even go into the toilet. Its so weird and so random. I know I have to persist with it but how long is it going to take. He's just so stubborn and I don't know what to do anymore. It's getting hard not to get frustrated when I know that he knows he needs to go. Arrrrggggg!!!

Sorry for the little rant.... I'm also a bit on edge with the whole TTC thing so that doesn't help. Bring on next week when I'll hopefully have an answer on that.

Kelly - I don't have any advice because honestly I have found it's one of those things they 'get'' when they're ready and there's not a damn thing you can do to speed up the process. DD was much the same, I got sick of the accidents and put it off for 6 months then tried again. Second time around she got it within days. DS has been completely different. About 3 weeks ago now I figured I'd give it a shot cause some of the little boys in our baby buds thread were doing really well. To be honest, I didn't expect it to happen and was a bit half hearted about the whole thing. But to my amazement he got it straight away and is now at the point where he is weeing and pooing on the potty all day and even when he has a nappy on now after his nap he will come and ask me to take it off so he can go on the potty. Completely different experience this time.

So it's absolutely nothing that I've done or haven't done because both my kids have been very different. I know it's frustrating because I felt the same way with DD. And the closer she crept to 3, the more paranoid and almost embarrassed I got that she was still in nappies I know that's a terrible thing to say but I felt like it was something that I'd 'failed' at.

He WILL get there in his own time. If you can handle the accidents, I'd keep going. It doesn't sound like he's doing too badly otherwise.

I have to ditto Willow Kelly. We tried twice with Jett but he just kept backtracking after a few days of going alright. So we finally got stuck into it in Feb at 3.5 and bam he got it in one day. I think we had maybe 4 accidents all up and that was about 7wks ago now. He has only pooped on the potty once (some weird fear of his) but he tells me he wants a nappy if he's going to poo otherwise he is in jocks all day and a pull up at night.

Maybe just give your little dude a few more months and see how he goes then. Boys are notorious for being slackers at toilet training; and I honestly (and no offence intended) think parents put waaaaaaaaaay to much onus on being potty trained by day dot. Normal age is 3.5-4 for day training. Kids buckle under pressure and will often train in a day if they are well and truly ready. If he asks to potty let him but otherwise try again in a few months, can make the world of different and a whole lot less stress for you and him

Hi all Feeling a bit better yesterday and today. It's still so hard though, I feel like I'm just barely keeping my head above water. I can't do a good job of mothering either of my boys, as I can't be there for both of them. I know that's just our reality ATM, but it still feels awful . Poor DS1, he's being so good really, but he's so sad when I leave him each day. Not crying and having meltdowns about it, just really sad, which feels worse, it breaks my heart. I'm trying really hard to spend time with him playing when we're at home together, which seems to help a bit. And we're going to a Playschool concert with our lovely friends on Friday, which I'm really looking forward to, DS is going to love it! I will feel so torn though, as it means I won't see DS2 until that evening.

Tiny guy is doing really well it was great to see him love his bath so much yesterday! He'd just pulled his NG tube out and we removed all of his sticky bits for the bath, so I got to see him just as he is for a little while, which was lovely. Spoke to our paed yesterday, who I love, and she's really happy with him. But did caution me that he's still a way off coming home. You know, I knew that, but it's still really hard to hear her say it, cos I can't pretend at all that he might be home soon! I really, really want him home for Easter, it's my 30th birthday on Easter Sunday, and I just know I will be miserable if I don't have all my boys at home with me. But again, trying not to get my hopes up, in case it doesn't happen. I do feel fairly confident that he'll be home by then though.

Sorry for all the 'me me me' posts ATM, but it does feel good to get it out. Love to all, and LVs to Lisa! Oh, speaking of, do you have my mobile number Lisa? Cos I want a text when bubba arrives! And I'll be able to visit you, cos I'm in there every day anyway Hmmm, that's assuming you're going back to FPH? I hope so, they have been awesome this time around, the new hossy is great.

Janie... I know the feeling. When we were in the SCN there was another little girl that had some breathing difficulties when she was born - they kept telling her family that she'd be home for Christmas but would then look at us and shake their heads and tell us that Sam wouldn't be home for Christmas... which we knew, but we just didn't like to hear it! Just remember that while it feels like forever now, it really is only going to be a short period of time in the overall scheme of things.

Still being slammed by work - hardly even managing to keep up with reading. Perhaps I should just give up on forums and go live under a rock!

I'm so glad you are feeling a bit more chipper today Janie... I so wish I could speed this time up for you. I remember always being optimistic as well. When we were in the NICU Immy was in Room1 for longer than any of the other babies at that time. Even one that was born at 590grams. It was so hard when everyone moved forward & my little princess stayed put. As you probably know she was born in October & I had in my head that she would be home for Christmas & of course that didn't happen - then it was home for the new year & that too passed - it was so so so so intolerably hard.

But she's home now & it's like she's always been here - that's how it will be for you and Daniel darling heart. Soon this will just be a challenging memory & you will even find things to smile about with regard to this time too.

He's doing so well - even having a real bath!!!! I remember feeling like I was walking on clouds the very first immersion bath Immy had... I felt like I could take on the world that day. Remember he is making such great progress darling he really is. Immy was 3 months old before she could have a bath - your little boy has managed it so much sooner. Try not to look forward - just do today that wy it's manageable.

I feel so deeply for what you are going through - I have shed many happy & frustrated tears for you & your baby & I wish I had a wand to take away this difficult time.

Big big warm squishy understanding cuddles
