Kelly Have an awesome holiday and soak up some warmth for me too Glad to hear everything is going so well for you and bub now.
Janie Willow is on a little ban from BB land until next month I'm seeing her on Saturday when they head this way to check out some houses in an area they are considering moving to sometime in the hopefully not too distant future I can pass on any messages if you like.
How is everything at your place? I looked at your recent pics of the boys and oh my they are so cute!!
I'm having a very cr*p week unfortunately. I new I would with Dec angel's EDD on Friday and I'm struggling in a huge way with it all but on Monday my mum called to let me know that my stepdad has a rather nasty prostate cancer and they have given him around 5 years. I'm not too sure what treatment option he will take but he had to have a CT scan this morning to see if it has spread anywhere else I hope for his sake it hasn't. We won't know anymore until he see's his specialist in a week and a half. Far out I wish I could bring some happy news into this thread sometime soon.
Oh Mako - sending you all my love and strength my lovely, I know you have been dealt a really crapola hand for such a long time & I'm really, really, really wishing there was something I could do to make things brighter for you. I really feel for you. Please know I'm thinking of you & your family. xx
LEE _ I have felt so guilty because after reading about your marriage heading south I just haven't known what to say & I feel so awful that I didn't post to you after I read it. I just don't have any words that can help & I hate myself that I can't think of anything that would make a difference. Please know I'm thinking of you & hoping for a really positive outcome for you, whatever that might be. You're such a strong and courageous woman & I know that whatever decision you make, it will be the right one, for you & your babies. xx
We're all ok Kelly; but now I have a sore throat, yellow snot and coughing up crud off my chest *sigh* I knew Id get sick again straight away. Im soldiering on though, if I could survive my 2wks of hell I can survive this lol
K - Im glad the scan put your mind at ease for now and have a great time in Fiji! Im so jealous. Sun and the beach sounds good to me right now.
Jayne - Im glad Curly is doing better. And I cant wait to hear what you come out with re your SIL. Honestly what is it with SILs and foot-in-mouth syndrome, mine has a really bad case of it too. So I just dont speak to her lol
Michelle - I think of you everyday and LOVE seeing Gorgeous George's piccies on FB. He is such a handsome boy, I want to come and give you guys squishy cuddles but this plague is lingering on and on *sigh* Soon I hope.
Mako -
Bek - Eva sounds just divine! Enjoy the immobile-ness for a little longer, with 3 on the go its a bit of a nightmare lol Congrats on making it to 12mths with breastfeeding too, your a champion!
Lee - I dont know what to say really. I cannot imagine the strain your marriage has been under with everything thats happened in the past few years. I know how big of a decision it is to make the break when push comes to shove, esp with kids involved. One thing I will say though is that it is never permanent until you want it to be, sometime space and time to think can do wonders for reassessing your perspective. I know it helped us alot.
BW, Inanna - I hope you guys start to feel better soon!
I know Ive probably missed people so I apologise in advance.
Mako - sorry to hear about your step dad hon, thats a crappy deal of the cards. My BIL is still fighting bowel cancer, with now secondaries in his lung and liver, it's so hard to know how to deal with this. Enjoy him while you can, I guess that is good advice anyway... how are you feeling tonight?
Freya - thanks hon, thats good advice, we are in fact thinking to send DH to France for 6-8 weeks, just so we can have a break and some time to breathe.... this will be in early October - and I agree, sometimes you need time apart to see things in a different perspective.
Kelly - have a bl--dy unreal time in Fiji - you will love it! I took my big two when they were young, and the Fijians love kids, they toook them off to the local village, it was great for all of us!
Jayne - don't stress about me - I'm a survivor - you have more than enough on your plate right now, how is your 'move' progressing? x
Michelle - ahhhh, how is it babe??? How's the levels??? Are you coping?? Are you feeling supported? What do you need (aside from the glaringly obvious xoxoxoxo) How's the babies? xoxoxo
Deb - thanks hon, would love a chat when you are feeling better xoxoxo how are you?? xoxo
Hi to everyone!!!
I'm soldiering on, as you do, and you keep doing. Life is still feeling heavy at times, and one of our major issues is very different parenting styles, due to very different upbringings, and very close to 2 different generations. I'm pretty easy going, and do not tend to sweat the small stuff, but DH sweats every little thing, and it's very hard and very tedious to live with. We shall keep ticking along till he heads to France, and I want to finish my course this year, after that who knows...... it's decision time.
Got to go, as am embarassed to confess I want to watch Farmer wants a wife - might find me a nice young farmer ;-) xoxoxo
Hehehehe... no time for a longer post but Lee - just had to say that I love the Farmer Wants a Wife too!!!! I'm a bit of a hopeless romantic I think. Enjoy.
LEE & KELLY _ Don't be shy, you're in safe company here. Farmer Devon, mmmmmmmmm, he's a bit on the spunkylicious side me thinks!!!! ;-)
KELLY _ Go pack your bags woman!!!
LEE _ How you going? What are you plans for the weekend?
LISA _ Hellloooo Miss Heidi - you need to PM me!!! LOL
MICHELLE _ How are you coping chick? Do you have a good routine happening with the 3 kiddies? Like a production line of sorts? How's your dad's eye going?
MAKO _ How are you holding up today my darling? I'm thinking of you more than you know.
WILLOW _ Come & fess up to us woman!
Sorry, gotta go, Claudia very upset with a big bloated tummy ache. :-(
Mako, just wanted to acknowledge the day hon. What should have been a beautiful time for you and your family, now filled with sadness and aching. These things just will never be right, never be okay, you wanted that baby so much. I know for sure that little soul is safe, and (in my thinking and beliefs) could well be preparing to return to you again. We all wish this for you. Meantime, be kind to yourself, hope you got through the day, the sun will be up shining for all of us tomorrow.
Just thought I would add that I"m disgustingly jealous of Kelly being in tropical waters.............
MAKO _ How are you my darling? I have been thinking of you so much.
MICHELLE _ How are you as well? Another special person occupying my thoughts!
LEE _ How are you? Sounds like the massage course is keeping you busy, which is a good thing right now, an outlet.
SPRING _ How's your lite n easy going? I haven't heard you talking bout it lately? Are you still doing it?
BW _ Did you come to any decisions my love?
FREYA _ I cant' believe you are sick again, I really, truly wish I could do something to help. It must be so frustrating. Your immune system must be completely buggered. I really hope you pick yourself up soon. xx
Big, massive, squishy hugs to everybody!
Well, I'm feeling more positive about life. Alan returned back to work last night, so today I'm on my own again. This time only for 25 days as he's back the day before Claudia's biopsy. Then it's possibly 3-4 trips until we move over there. There is SO much to do. It's insane, but it's keeping me motivated & positive & happy so I'm really praying it's a good move.
Jayne I have to say I think you are making a wonderful move hun and I'm sure you have been wondering if its the right move etc etc but atleast you are doing all you can to help move through the problems you guys have been having. I wish you all the best with everything It will be an experience of a lifetime for the girls and something they'll remember as they grow older. How is Claudia doing? I hope she isn't in too much pain
Michelle I've been thinking of you as always. I hope you managed some solid sleep the other night.
Lee How are you doing lovely?
Lisa to you too hun. I hope you got through your day last week too. How are the girls doing?
Bun I hope you're feeling better now too hun. How are the kids?
Hi to everyone else. I hope those of you who are unwell are feeling better soon.
I just want to say Thank you to you all for your thoughts. I had a pretty rough week really but I'm trying my best to move on. My DH asked me last night what my problem has been this past few days and I told him that we should have had another baby by now. He asked what did I mean and when I told him what Friday was he said "oh well I thought we were past all that I know men don't think like we do but a little bit of compassion would go astray. Anyway I/m back to see my specialist next Monday and will be asking her more questions. I'm thinking it might be a good idea to see a FS up here. I know of a good team up here so it might be worth checking out that avenue.
On a different note I'm taking Sage for a visit to the preschool we are hoping to get him into today. I haven't told him where we are going cos he will pester me until its time to go lol. I'll tell him as I get him dressed I think. I know I'm going to have trouble getting him out of the place when its time to go though hahaha.
Just couldn't help myself but quickly log on and spread some lovely sunshine in here!! We're having a wonderful time.. the warm weather is sooo nice but it hasn't been as lovely weather wise as I would of hoped. We've had rain and lots of cloud... and the damn wind is incredible!! But.. it's nice just to be warm and today the sun is out again. We just need the wind to die down a bit and we'd be in paradise!! It's blowing a gale!! Luke has been pretty good... we had a MAJOR tantrum in the middle of a packed restaurant during breakfast yesterday.. it was sooo emarrassing.. DH had to carry him out kicking and screaming... literally! It was shocking. Anyway he's at the kids club now.. thank god for kids club!! The people are amazing too... just sooo lovely. Only two days to go.. damn it.. we need a bit longer - LOL!
Jayne - OMG.. did I miss something??? Are you moving over to China?? How fantastic. I definitely think you're doing the right thing hun and what a great experience for you all. Can't wait to have a good chat to you about it when we're back in September.
Mako - Massive hugs babe.. what a difficult week. Thinking of you and hoping you get some answers soon.
Thinking of everyone else too.. sorry no time for personals... need to make the most of the time that Luke's at the kids club - LOL.
Oh Kelly you just suck! Seriously woman make us all feel as big as Barbie while you prance around in the heat (I'll just go turn the heater up a bit more)!!!!!!!!!! hahahaha (I AM laughing I hope you know!)
Yep, moving over to China. Initially were heading over there once Jessica finishes up Pre-Primary at the end of the year, but her teacher has said she has met all the requirements of Pre-Primary & she is happy to recommend her ready to begin Year 1, so we are now looking at going the week after we get home from Melbs (haven't told the fam that part just yet).
I have been e-mailing the closest International School atm, so start the enrolment ball process for the girls..........eeeek, I'm past the 'excitment' factor, now I'm in the frenzy-how-am-I-going-to-do-this factor.......
So there's my gossip & we will DEF chat about that in Melbs, but AFTER I have squished little Daniel & Natalya.
Speaking of which - Miss Lisa me thinks you owe me a PM!!!
Jayne (and the Melbourne girls) - send me the dates!!!! When are you meeting up so I can try to coordinate a day trip because I am NOT going to fly to China with three little people on my own to see you woman LOL
Jayne - I know you told me the date when I asked last time, but I have severe brain malfunction atm lol..... I definately would love a day trip - or two (and a night in a posh hotel!!!) - to Melbourne - just over the water for me! Would be wonderful to meet you all, and a double bonus if Michelle can get down!! Lee xox
OMG OMG OMG, I am sooooooo freaking excited! I might just wet my pants you know, I only had a baby 5 months ago Michelle and Lee I seriously hope you both can make it
I have no idea where we're meeting up, you're all welcome here, but it might be a bit squishy! (And I have no idea how our visitors would get here?) Let's come up with a plan
Oh my lordie, OMG, OMG, OMG I am going to wee myself! Janie, we can wear Tena pads together, but I don't care because I AM BUSTING WITH EXCITEMENT!!!!!!
I fly to Mel on 28 September - most special day of the year I'll have you know, then we fly back again on Tue, 5 October & we have the Mary Poppins show on Sun, 3 October. So pick a day in between there.
Am so loving how you think logistically Michelle. hahaha
We are staying at Mantra on the Park apartments (I think) should you wish you book that hotel & we can order ****tails, ok, hot chocolates for you & Lee & I'll just have the ****tails.
Love Jayne x
