Hmmmm - just trying to negotiate with the parents when they would be likely to come down over that weekend. It is the NRL grandfinal on the Sunday and we have tickets already (family tradition for the past 20+ years - heading onto 40 years for the parents!!!). I just need to have someone to look after O&L who could do it overnight and this could be a plan. Friday morning leaving here and coming home Saturday evening might be workable. Will keep on *organising* if that suits others
And Lee - the Mantra apartments could be an option for us to stay in
ETA Although just having spoken with my mother, she may not be able to get off work and won't know until the last minute whether they will be there on the Friday or the SaturdayBut a day trip on the Friday or Saturday is certainly an option. Come hell or high water I will get down there. Even if I have to take them all with me!!!!!
