Mine today - and I'm very excited about it....

Watching DD eat sultanas!!!!!! She usually won't touch anything that she doesn't know, but after an initial "hmmmm" moment of unsure, she's eaten half a box!

Today's moment of joy - met my sister at the local shopping centre, the kids ran amok at the playground and then it was time for lunch. Sister took DNephew (1yo) and DNiece (3yo) to order and of course my DD wanted to go too... So DNiece ran back and took DD's hand and the two of them skipped up to my sister and danced around at her feet while she ordered. It was just beautiful!

My moment today was taking my boys on their bikes (DS1 big bike, DS2 on his trike with parent handle) around to my sisters place and it actually went okay on the way there but even better on the way back we even took the long way home... and I also didn't get home thinking and feeling like I'd never do that again either. So YAY!

it's nice to think about the positives of it all, sometimes i think people get too busy and too frustrated with just making it 'work.' lovely thread idea!

today, i went for a bush walk with the kids. haven't been in aaaaaaaaages, and they had a lovely time. was nice to get out of the house with them as well, and just do something that doesn't involve me begging them to be good and getting stressed, etc....

Oh, I remembered another one. This morning DH was singing DD1 a song and when he finished she claps and says 'That's right! I'm so proud of you Daddy!' Made us both laugh.

    Well done sarah!! And score

Mine for yesterday.... Having dinner at a friend's house, catching up with some others we hadn't seen in a while and the 5 kids there all playing really nicely together.

For today... A nice, long, hot, uninterrupted, stress-free shower!! Then being able to blow dry and straighten my hair properly cuz DH had the kids!!! Bliss!

And another one,.. Feeding DS and having him go to sleep in my arms, where he is right now. So peaceful, so trusting. Aw.

DD2 has conjunctivitis and has been really miserable with a cold. Before I left for work today I said that we had to put more cream in her eye. She lay on the mat, let me open her eye and rolled her eye back for me to put the cream in and all without a squeak (as opposed to the mega tanty last night). Then she sat up and said "thank you Mummy, I a good girl". Made leaving for work so much easier and pleasant for me
