How long do kids need a pushchair?

When DD is 2, she will have a new baby brother or sister. Now, I have a pram that is suitable from birth and also a hugabub. My plan was to put bubba in the HB and DD in the pram until bubba was about 6 months. Or you know, if DD is happy running around, put bubba in the pram. Basically switching them aound so the pram is in constant use.

But then when DD is 2.5 and bubba is too big to be carried, will DD still need a pushchair?

Am I better off just getting one of the 2 seater ones now?
