No you are not the only one. I lost dd twice in the space of 2 weeks. One at dh's 30th. We left the garage open for guests to come out and thought my mum or sister was looking after her. I asked them where dd was and no one knew, luckily she only headed up the driveway but of course I couldnt sleep thinking what could have happened to dd.

Then this weekend, we went up to the port stephens apartment, I got too excited, dropped my luggage aand went ti check the view out, then my husband came and wen he left I was looking for dd. Went in every room, panicked so much thinking she had gone down the lift, rang dh only to be told off then my friend rings and said she found her hiding in the bedroom cos she was playing hide and seek.

I know these storied wont make you feel better but just letting you know ui are not alone
