I hope a little distraction helps. My kids have dealt with death too much for my liking over the last few years . So they had a much better understanding of it.

Our neighbours son passed in a car accident last July (he was 13). They all dealt with it differently. Only my eldest son expressed anger and a little bit of fear. He was 12 at the time and was scared he would die at 13 as well. His brother and my son are best friends. He is here at the moment actually. But that's going off topic

Anyways I hope your daughter is able to do something to remember her teacher by. Maybe plant a flower or go for a walk somewhere nice and talk about her and if you pray maybe say a little prayer. Or she could even write a special letter which she can bury somewhere and no one else has to read it
