It's definitely not a 'pretty' thing, we tell our girls they are beautiful inside and out but she thinks it's 'pretty' IYKWIM.
It wouldn't be outside the home and I find it no different to her playing dress ups, stealing my heels & giggling while trying to wear my bra.

I'm in 2 minds really, don't want her growing up too quick but don't want to make a big deal out of experimenting with things IYKWIM?

Sent from my iPhone, more than likely while I should be doing something else!
It is what you make it, if its a part of dressing up and its a bit of fun at home and its not turned it to how beautiful make up makes you and you need it to look pretty then fine. if it becomes something they want to do every day i think id have a problem personally. When we stayed in the uk with my mum and sister they wear alot of makeup and i had to kick my sister when DD1 asked why she was putting all this stuff on her face and she said to make her self look pretty and nice....we went with ''cause she has dry skin and it makes her skin feel better'' ( i dont really wear makeup!)

Like helle said, its the pageant stuff i have a problem with!
