DS is 4 and we've been teaching him over the past few months. He seems to understand, and we have practised a few times about how he would reach the phone - it's up on the wall. I also randomly say to him "Tom, what's your address?' just to make sure he remembers it because he did go through a stage where he kept saying he lived in the North Pole
