Anything smoked salmon!! Even when I am not pregnant (but can't wait till I have the baby and can eat a kg of it!!). My Dad rolls up bits of smoked salmon with a mix of cream cheese and marscapone cheese, held together with a toothpick and top with fresh dill and a squeeze of lemon....

A different variation of brie/camembert is to use the whole round (not just a pie piece), top with chopped macadamia nuts...meanwhile caramalize some white suger in a pan until golden then pour on top and let it set. The cheese gets a little sweet but is still savoury and the toffee/nuts on top makes it really different.

Home made sausage rolls are always a winner.

We usually also buy some fresh chicken breast, slice thin and make our own BBQ'd kebabs...marinate in a couple of different marinades (ie mix of say honey/soy and another with say salt/pepper/five spice) and guests can either eat plain or have a satay dipping sauce.

    I also love dolmades too

    smiles just for you

Ok- the dip (it doesnt have a name lol)

    You will need...
    1 Avocado
    1 Tomato
    Lemon Juice
    Tub of sour cream
    Spring onion.
Grated cheese (packet stuff is great)

    1. Mash avocado (so its like mashed potato) spread it on the bottom of a dish (doesnt work all that well in a bowl)

    2. Sprinkle avocado with lemon juice (just so it doesnt go brown)

    3. Chop up tomato & spring onions and sprinkle evenly over avocado.

    4. Cover with sour craem.

    5. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.

    6. Serve with Savoy biscuits!

    All finished

You can double the ingredients if u want, just depends how much dip you want to make.

    Thumbs up

Thanks heaps for that RR ... i've titled it the *** RR dip *** , woo sounds delish, i just LOVE anything with spring onions in it

... If you like Savoy Biscuits last time i was in Aldi i was checking out some dry bickies and a lady shopper said " Oh you've gotta try 'em them sooo nice " and i did (but can't remember the darn name of them now) they look like Savoy biscuits on the box but taste like a combination of Savoy & Clix Biscuits (without being too buttery like Clix biscuits but dry like Savoy but not salty IYKWIM )
