    Nope, have had 2 girls cats that have sprayed. They were fixed older, one at 1yo and can't remember when the other was one. One ended up being kidney issues, the other just does not like change, so people in the house or a new pet will have her marking.

    Yes de-sexed males cats do spray - not all of them, of course. But they do & in larger numbers than female cats.

    I've had female cats that sprayed too. Gross.

    I prefer male cats. I find their temperament to be more suited to my family than most female cats.
