I went and saw our other horse again this morning, he's quiet and calm, but watching us closely. Before, he couldn't really give two hoots about what we were doing or if we were near him, but now he's looking around himself to keep us in his sights. Not wary exactly, just watchful. Bit unsure. He keeps going to the spot Indy died. We've put in a couple of calls for a buddy - one family seem to be away, but the other we will know by tonight.

I had a horrible night. Mum asked me so many times if I was sure he had died, that I kept waking up during the night, believing that I'd made the wrong call, that he hadn't died and he'd been sent away by mistake. And then I'd lay there and worry about our other horse - what if he's fretting, what if he's cold......Awesome.
