Bracken Ridge

Hi girls,

We are an army family and recently have locked down our house at Bracken Ridge. Hopefully there is a few of you on here that live in that area and would like to meet up. We arrive end of November, so still a little while to go.

By the way, if anyone has any info about childcare recommendations that would be great. My son Jai will be 4 in Jan but I think the c&K preschools will be out cause of the waiting lists. But very open to CCC that have preschool programs.

Hi cant help you with the area but I am a ex navy with so if you go to DCO they will help you with daycare as defence familys are ment to get high prority as we move so much ( I think daycare centres are ment to make room for us) but if you are only looking for occational care then the DCO centre should have one running once or twice a week.

Hi Em,
I am in Bald Hills so just up the road. I am keep to meet up with some mums in the area.
Also for daycare we use Mother Duck. They are fantastic! We use the one at Lawnton but there are more around including one at Strathpine and one at Eatons Hill.
