Mothers Group - in or around Ipswich

I'm new to this site but I just thought I'd ask if anyone is aware of a mothers group in/around Ipswich area? My little girl is 14 weeks and I'd be keen to catch up with other mums.

Any information would be great.

I live near Goodna - they have a couple of playgroups around on different days.

If you are near there let me know, we might be able to meet up. I have a 10 week old girl & a 2 year old boy

I'm just past Ipswich... would be good to avoid Ipswich Motorway at the moment! You must be struggling being in the middle of the roadworks? It would be good to get involved in a group locally but if I don't hear about any, I might get back to you about the groups in your area.

Hi Everyone,

My name is Bec and I am a mum of 2. Ryan (02/07/2003) & Kaycee-Mae (25/06/2005). My husband is an interstate truck driver so the children and I are home without him most times. So I was wondering if there is a playgroup going of just get togethers as I would like to get involved and make a few friends and get my children interacting with other children. Sometimes my husband, Nick, is away for up to a month at a time so when the kids go to bed i get bored and lonely and would like new people to chat to. So if there is anyone out there that would like to chat or get together that would be great. I live at Eastern Heights near Bremer High.

Hi I'm from Ipswich. I have lived here for about 3 years now, but still don't know many people here. I'm interested in forming a playgroup, or meeting up with other mum's. My name is Jess, I'm 25 and I have 2 children, Ava who is 2.5yrs and Liam who is 1. I'm also pregnant with bub number 3. If anyone is interested let me know and we can try to organise something!
