Playgroups on Bribie island

Hello

Can anyone please assist with info relating to playgroups on bribie island?. We moved here end of Sept 07 and been working and unpacking and now play time. My son is 15mnths old and really needs some children around his age group.

If you cant find anything on the Island and just want a coffee and to meet some new people would love to say hello I am 2 weeks of popping #2 myself too so wont be up for it for a month or so but thought I would just say HI anyways

Congrats on No.2, whishing you best. Joshua was born 06.10.06 (4 weeks early). Thanks for the invite, think i will take you up on that, also might be of assistance in this way as you will have yr hands full. Hopefully little Josh can entertain little Jacob. So if u need any help, offer is here.

Woke up this morning at 3:30am with pains all morning......all day I have been thinking this is it... come on pains get worse... bring on the baby!! And they have stopped completly now I am soooo spewin!!!!
And Thank you soo much for the offer of a get together! .... As soon as this bubble decides to pop I would most love to take you up on it ... at the moment I am just playing the waiting game! However if you were in real need of some company you are most welcome to pop over to my place any time!! I know its a little bit of a drive but sadly i am a little house bound at the moment... if you would like too pls text me...
Jacob is in day care so thats awesome as it gives me a break here and there... he loves his day care, hes a real social butterfly ... little show off too. he he he...

Going for a much deserved nap now after fluffing around all morning... Hope the pains start again soon!! he he he... Tonight would be fine for me to have this baby!!

R u there yet! LOL i know you are wishing and not too far away and then back into a whole new relam, all will be good.

Just finished up at work today, so like to be mobile, so visits always good. joined up with the playgroups thru QLD government scheme, hoping that will do some good as joshua was originally ok with his carer but think something happened, wasn't like him not to want to go. Sounds like Jacob is very loved and content, which makes for happy children and that's what we want. Read an interesting article recently about pro's and con's of childcare, interesting but at end of the day all children are different.

Joshua got dummy mugged yesterday, little blondie with ringlets, gorgeous gal, came up, hugged him, then WHAM! His dummy was gone in a flash and she was just about outa there when her daddy stopped her and made her hand it back to Joshua. i don't think he knew what hit him to be honest, she was quick and all very funny to watch their expressions.

Anyway, now i'm the one rambling. Dumb question, is there a specific place i should look to obtain yr mobile details or other, sorry hnot sure how this all works.

LOL at the dummy mugging!!!.... Jacob had an "altercation" a few weeks ago where all the kids in the centre were playing together for a water play day and he walked up to a 2 year old girl.... and very boldly took her teddy off her...... So she swipped him in the face and he got a big scratch down his nose!! HE HE HE.... Day care called me all worried and told me that he got hit by a girl for taking her teddy and I near piddled myself laughing over the phone!!..... serves him right I suppose!! He might know better next time not to pinch other kids toys

I did actually put my moby # on here but it must have got taken off for admin/privacy/naughty reasons.... Whoops... Sorry BB admin...

yeah sooooooo cant wait for life to get to a new realm....... to have my body back!! Have a glass of wine when I feel like it!! start using my brand spanking new breast pump so I can have a glass or 2! he he he he..... You know what I have been craving!!!! Lemon Margarita with as much salt caked onto it that will fit!! he he he.... so thats my reward after a few weeks of settling in with baby a big juicy margarita...

So do you have a partner or just yourself and the little man?? If I am prying tell me to p off at any time!!!

Hey kitty Kat, had yr kitten yet! i guess the answer would be Meowwww, not purring, not there yet. Date is getting closer.

Poor Jacob, tis a classic when you can see their expressions, especially when the girls are giving them grief! haha

ok, will search for yr email address, alittle baby brain dead at times, worried more since finishing work that brain will go down stream but i best to do things to keep my brain occupied

Oh dear, best not communicate with you no more, your trouble, Margarita'sssssssssss MY FAVOURITE, slush puppy style on a hot summers arvo with the girls, yum yum, haen't had one for sometime, poor old friend of mine, don't think she ever quiet recovered after a night out with me on them, basically the police had to help her get back into the house LOL

Questions, questions, feel free but some of the answers are a bit hard at times, have been thru alot in the past 2 years, having a positive 2008 & chinese year too, cause i figured i need the extra month to get ready ha ha

feeling bored and hyper at times on Bribie, miss my friends but will catch up with them later in the month as try to go to Brissie a few times a month to play catch up. I'm on the go alot, don't like sitting down too much, otherwise my glutious maximus gets bigger and bigger, still trying to kock off the last 10kg's as it is, but getting there slowly.

We've been at SP since Sept 07 and I know from my walks around the streets with my little girl - now 15 months old and about to be joined by no. 2 in Sept! - that there are lots of mums and young bubs out there!!! This is the first place I've found though where anybody has tried to make contact.

Do you want to get together one day for a coffee or we can meet at the pirate ship park? My daughter loves other kids and is craving to meet some new ones. Let me know. I'll keep a check on the forum.
