Ladies,

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend, we would love to host a BB meet up at Lollipop's (new indoor play centre). We are in the process of putting together play group packages which will include discounted entry and extra activities for the children eg arts & crafts.

We are open today (26th of February) this will be our first day of trading. As you can all imagine I have not slept a wink & have been up since about 4am this morning. Having Lollipop's is like having a new born.

Thanks again for all of your well wishes. I will post another message once all play group packages are finalised, but if you are in the area today you are most welcome to be part of our first day!!!

Oh WOW! I was just thinking yesterday If it was open yet! We drove past on the weekend and it looked great! Was thi nking of going to have a look today! Might be crazy there though so maybe next week! If I have a chance might pop in for a look!

But I think a BB get together there is the go! Good Luck Mia, hope today runs smoothly for you!

Thank you Mia for the tour in lollipop. It looks AWESOME! I know I will spending heaps of time there after my work out at the gym next door lol. They have a child mending service.

Girls pop in as soon as you can cause it looks GREAT!

Hi as you've probably guessed my name is Paula and my sons name is Jacob (11months) we have just moved from Perth a week ago and are endeavouring to make some contacts. We are going to be in Douglas if the rain stops long enough for the removalists to unpack! I am still trying to find myself around this website let alone Townsville but have a map and car so maybe we could meet for coffee? :

oooh went to lollipops today and it was lovely! Ari played all day in the toddler area! It was lovely and clean and tidy and had nice baby change facilities too! DS thought the playstations were awesome and had great fun playing in the playground! And it was quite reasonably priced too

maybe we can have a weekly meeting at lollipop. Maybe every monday or something?

my eldest just LOVES the cars and toddler area!

and so is the idea of a weekly meetup - not sure if i mentioned earlier but mondays and wednesdays are out for me but any other day is open - tuesdays would probably be best but whatever anyone else is up to i'm in for

OK Tuesdays would be good here also!! Have swimming with DD at 9.30-10, so after that we could come. Maybe only every second week though, depending how much it is!!! Do you think we should go this week?? I am so excited!!!!!

Hello, i am new to this site and somewhat to Townsville and want to meet some new mums and bubs, i have a son Lachlan 15mths and i am due in well 4 days with second son..
Hubby and i arrived here in January from Perth...far far from home

Would be very interested in your meet ups at Lollipops it sounds awsome i actually only found out about it today..

Hi, I'd love to meet up, though i havent figured out where lollipops is yet! I can understand if you're not up to it at the moment given the circumstances. where were you in Perth, we were in Maylands. Im a stay at home mum, so let me know when is good for you and I'll be there....I dont want to sound like a whinging westerner but finding a baby group seems harder here, am i just looking in the wrong places?? Hey Paula, both hubby and i grew up south of the river but we were living in swanbourne..

Do you know where Domain central is... harvey norman or bunnings..thats where lollipops is..
So what brings you so far from home...Townsville is really lovely we have been here before use to own a house in the willows, we are currently in the avenues..kirwan

Okay ladies, we will make it tuesdays then, lets say... 2pm?

i will be there this tuesday 2/3/08 with my youngest son Logan. We will be sitting in the toddlers area and i will make a little sign "bellybelly" so you know it me lol. I agree with every second week so it would be easier on some of us.

i have never been in perth but have seen a few adds for it on television. My home where i grew up is just a "little" further... Antwerp in BELGIUM lol.

Hope to see a few of you ladies on tuesday.

PS, my name is Jenny and have 2 sons, Tyran 30/12/2005 and Logan 05/12/2006.

Oh, I won't be able to make it at 2pm, have to pick my other daughter up from school at 2.30pm.... Can we maybe do it at like 10.30/11am. If not, that's cool! I know it is hard to get a time/day to suit everyone!
