There is a name for a colour variation on the iris. My partner has blue grey eyes, but has this weird brown blob on one side of his iris near his pupil. I can't remember the name for it. I saw a few posts on the internet the other day of people sharing their cool ones. I'll see if I can find it.
My kids have something similar, but it's closer to how my eye colouring is. DD has green hazel eyes, with amber/brown colouring surrounding her pupil, and DS has blue grey with brown colouring surrounding his pupil.
