Just wanted to add, that me having to see the Dr's practiacally every week wasnt my idea, it has been them. It was the hospital that picked up the Thyroid problem in this pgcy after they had done a heap of blood tests throughout the pgcy. I didnt have this before pgcy, it happened during the pgcy. It just added to the more frequent hospital visits. Also due to me being on aspirin, and having a small bub previously is another reason for the physcian appts at the hospital as they like to make sure that all is going ok whilst on aspirin, or if they need to change their methods. Such as clexane, which as far as I know for me is late for now. As for the thyroid, needs to be monitored incase the dosage needs to be changed. The feto maternal unit is doing all the u/s's as they need to keep an eye on bubs growth, which is currently sitting at the 6th percentile, so bub may need to be delivered earlier than first thought if the next 1 or 2 u/s's dont show much improvement. As for the GD, just something else that added to the visits. Anyway although very stressful, I am alsovery glad they are keeping a close eye on bub. So this was by no mean me advising you to have weekly visits for you, this is just what has ended up happening for me.
Just the way it has turned for me unfortunately, which I think my age has alot to do with.
As for the fefol and multi vitamins and aspirin, that is exactly what I had done for my last 3 pgcys that came to term, as well as this one. It worked for me, but make sure you talk to the OB's about what your taking. It has to be monitored, and you need to come off the aspirin at around 34-35wks.
Anyhow congratulations on your BFP hun, I truley hope this is your very much sticky one. It is perfectly normal having feelings of happiness and being scared at the same time. I think even now for me, it is to take it one day at a time, easier said than done though. Lots of hugs
