Unhappy I cant decide ladies, What did you do???

Well I think I am pregnant.....

And I cant decide what action to take..

I am taking NOW extra fefol, pregnancy multivitamin and will take an asprin a day to see if it helps keep bubba safe....

What i need help with is the care.. on one hand I want to RUN to the doc, tell him everything and see what can be done...(although Im pretty sure its not much).... and on the other hand I just want to plod along and go see him IF I get to half way... besides an ultrasound I will choose no other testing anyway.....

I dont know what to do, and it makes me feel even worse that I have put bub in this position.....

PB - Hun, after my first two m/c's I fell pg again, and I was so worried about losing another bub, that I went and saw my GP, who put me through to this OB. He had me on the Baby aspirin, and at one point in the visit was going to have me on injections daily. Yet he decided to have me just take the baby aspirin. I too was already taking fefol and elevit, which I believe also helped even to this day. When I fell pg with my little V, my GP did some more BT's as I had 2 m/c previously to V, which gave me the reason for needing the aspirin. I am ana positive. They are not sure what is causing it as there can be many reasons, such as Lupus. So maybe getting a BT done to check you for any type of blood clotting would be something to check, also maybe also a BT to check your thyroid function.
With my current pgcy, I have now GD which I am soon to start insulin and also an underactive thyroid, which I am taking meds for. They were considering again, as they did with V me having clexane injections instead of the aspirin, but have stayed with the aspirin. Has me worried abit as bub is still on the small side.
I am under high risk and have been since my first 2 m/c's, and have been seeing the hospital almost every week since approx the 8wk mark of pgcy. All different Dr's, such as Physcian and endocronologist, OB's and feto maternal unit for u/s and now dieticians. Yet if this brings my bub to me safe and sound then thats what I have to do.
This is just what I have done, but if it helps you make your decision then Im glad I could help. What I have noticed is that as we get older our bodies need more help to sustain our pgcy's. Mine has just done a complete turn around this time bringing in the GD and thyroid, just for fun. I have never had trouble with these with any of my pgcy's before.
I am sending lots of sticky vibes your way, so that you can bring your bub home to stay. hugs

PB - I am in a similar (but different) situation to you and I am so over people telling me 'you need to see a doctor' at the end of the day (in my case) I feel that there is nothing they can do so my decision is that I am not going to bother. This decision is such a personal one but I hope that hearing other peoples journeys can assist you in deciding what is best for you and your family.

I hope you get the answers you need and even more so a healthy little baby

    Thank you ladies....

I had all the blood work done with Isaiah, thyroid too, and all were fine....

I'm not sure if testing and checking all the time would stress me more, or make me feel better week to week.... I just dont know... I will do everything I can from home to make sure though.....

Maybe I should go see my regular GP, and talk it out with him.. so far he has been very good with me... I just dont want to pushed into stuff I dont want.. not at this early stage...

Is there anything besides the fefol, vitamins and baby asprin that I can do?????

After Noah, I took my pregnancy multi vitamins + megafol for the first 12 weeks of my pregnancy with DS2. Throught the pregnancy I had extra ultrasounds done up until the morphology scan, including the NT scan. I was adviced to have CVS done but I refused based on the miscarriage risk from CVS being higher than the risk of a baby having Noah's problems.

With DD2 I had dating scan, NT scan & morphology only and I have had the same with the baby I am currently carrying.

I am keeping everything crossed for you hun. I will be thinking of you & praying this will be a baby you can hold forever in your arms
