Bec G - thank you so much for your advice and sharing your experiences. I am so sorry you lost two babies before they did anything for you. I have spoken to a high risk specialist (Canberra Fetal Medicine Unit) and it was his opinion that an incompetent cervix was probably the cause this time as there was nothing else to go on. He mentioned very close monitoring of the cervix and bedrest but did not mention a stitch - maybe I will speak to him before we TTC again. I am not sure I would have the courage to try a third time. Thank you again it has really helped me feel more positive about things.
