I was told with my second the risk of infection over the risk of monitoring was too much to consider, well I am sure given it another time I would choose stitch everytime.
Stitches put in before it becomes an emergency situation are more sucessful than those done whilst the cervix is shortening.
Have a plan before you TTC, the hormones and the angel you have cause alot of stress on you. If it is all written down whilst you had time to digest it, it makes it easier
