    Hi everyone
Lysndan sorry for the scare you had. Any sort of bleeding or spotting is so darned scary with what we have been through. Has it stopped completely now?

Laney an early scan can be sad too.. I am delaying my first scan because I just got so sad after seeing heartbeats so many times then a few weeks later it is all over. I am now in blissful ignorance. My daughter had her scan today. She is 6w1d yet they did an abdominal scan and said 1) her bladder wasn't full enough and 2) it was too small to measure but they could see a sac and yolk and put her at around 4wks and told her to come back in 2 weeks time. They never even suggested an internal scan and I know that particular practise always muck up the early scans before 8 wks.

Dory, Your picnic with your angels sounds like it was in lovely weather. Luckily we never ha dto cc with Daniel as he is excellent at going to bed and doesn't get out of bed either if he wakes up. He is now in a normal single bed in his own room. I did try CC with our other children but they would get too worked up so we'd stop.

JLK I hope you do get to join in here and Beata

Blessed I had a low placenta with Nic and heavy bleeding for 2 wks at around 11 wks and then spotted until 23 wks but by then it had moved and Nick was a natural quick delivery (2 hrs and the whole labour was just like braxton hicks ctx). Daniel I had a low placenta that never moved fully out the way until 34 wks. But the only bleeding I had with him was when AF was due and i thought I had m/c before even gettnig to first base.

AFM had a shocking ehadache all day today. The last few days I have nausea on and off but no feeling of being sick, just off colour more than anything. Still have very sore bbs and definitely fuller. You are right every moment is precious and so far have made it to 6w1d when I never even thought I would ever seea BFP again.

    Hello my lovelies mummies,

Dory, I didn't mean to make you feel bad about the CC method, so if I did I'm really sorry hun!! I also don't want you to feel miserable about it either! Sometimes we have to try things out if we're looking at improving a situation. I have tried it too! I have tried so many things with Cam, some worked, some didn't, sometimes I've felt guilty/bad for trying something I wasn't comfortable with doing, but I did it because I wanted to improve things for my sake. I would continually feed and rock wee man to sleep for months and months. I was sometimed going insane and would give anything a go. You are doing such an amazing job with HB hun, I would never believe that you would intentionally abandon your little girl! So go easy on yourself hun, it looks like things are improving anyway. Big hugs to you lovely.

Laney, hope you can get your first scan booked in soon!

Blessed, I'll keep everything crossed for your 12 week scan. My, how the time is whizzing by!!

Judy, every day you are pg is a blessing isn't it? I am sorry for all the angels you have lost hun, and I can really feel the fear and anxiety in your posts hun, but with each passing day I hope the fear and anxiety disappears and you are able to enjoy your pg more and more. It's so uncanny your daughter is pg too, that is so amazing to be sharing such a lovely journey together, GL to you both.

Hello to LJK, LysnDan, anyone else??

Well, I am getting one step closer to hopefully being in here! After many talks with DF, I have finally twisted his arm and we will be attempting a cycle this year for sure. I have gone ahead and made an app. with my FS and will get him to run a BT to determine my egg reserve (I had one done in Oct last year and it was normal for my age - egg reserve is done to see how many eggs you still have, considering I am already 41). I want to see how much has changed in 8 months. I also want him to do an u/s to see if my fibroids have grown at all and do all the other BT checks to see all is well. I need to put on a few kilos, as I am much lighter now than before I was pg last, and I need to make sure I am in the best possible shape for a cycle. So keep your fingers and toes crossed for me ladies!

angelicdragon, i thought about not having an early scan. I think my doctor usually does them because i am taking blood thinners. It is important to see that the pregnancy is in the right place. I am having some pregnancy symptoms. My BB's hurt and don't fit into my bra very well and i now have to get up at night to pee. I am not sick yet, that usually starts around 8 weeks.
I really can't believe they would even try anything other than an internal ultrasound at 6 weeks! I think my doctor only does internal scans before 12 weeks. It just causes more worry! I hope everything looks good for DD in 2 weeks.

Miss.B, i can't wait to hear how your appt. goes!

Dory, i do feel pretty calm about everything right now. I'm sure that will change when i have my first scan booked.

Judy - yay for preg symptoms! I am so so very happy for you..... forgive me if this question brings up painful memories, but what are your milestone gestations? I think 6 weeks is super exciting, but I know it's hard to feel that way when you are so fearful and expecting heartache. Praying that this time is different.

Miss B - nah you didn't make me feel bad... it was more like you said, I was doing something I wasn't entirely comfortable with. I should have just followed my instincts. But it's just a learning process. YAY for twisting DH's arm. I am hoping those naughty fibroids are goneski and there are loads of eggies left for a 41'er!

Laney - I am loving your preg symptoms and YAY for a scan. The tech will get over it, but I know what you mean, expecting that just sorts of adds more anxiety huh? Thinking of you. Hope the nerves aren't too bad! I like to get in with the medical side of things early, for me, having the care and genuine concern of the obs, plus the reassurrance, although limited, can give is important. For me, it's one of the ways I can actually acknowledge the pregnancy, and now with my having had HELLP my BP etc will be monitored even more closely.

Blessed - how are you going? It's a pretty scary time huh? But so exciting too? Are you showing yet? Ohh, you have no idea how excited I am.

I think I just have babies on my brain...... ah there's worse huh? Belly rubs you all you beautiful mummas nuturing a precious life inside.
