    Hi girls

Just popping in quickly to wish you all the best for Thursday Dory! I am going away tomorrow till Saturday so I will probably miss your news if you post before then. I can't, can't wait to hear your little darling has arrived safe and sound! Honestly it won't matter how they get here, when you have them warm, pink and squirming in your arms, all of this long and stressful pregnancy will seem like a distant memory.

Had my CL measured today and my cervix is looking great atm, nice and long and closed which is what we like to see. My changes never happen till after 19 weeks anyway but still nice to know we are starting out with a good base. Bubs is growing beautifully, wriggling around like crazy and everything seems to be where it should be. We got some 4D shots too which are a little alien-like at this stage, but still cute!

Belly rubs to you all xx

Jo - thanks - It is good to have a long baseline... mine actually went up.. even when measured by the maternal fetal medicine specalist. I was totally blown away as I never expected that. Hopefully yours does the same? Enjoy your time away and take care of yourself and your little bundle inside and outside ( DD).

dory, good luck on Thursday. Can't wait to read your news.
I will be having another c-section. It is just "easier" for me. I told my doctor that I would be a stressed out emotional mess if I had a vaginal birth. I think in my mind there is a connection between vaginal birth and not bringing bub home

jo, great news about your CL. How are you feeling being so close to that 19 week mark?

jlk, I am doing okay. Thanks for asking. I am starting to worry more and more now that we are getting close. Bub wasn't moving as much as the doctor would have liked at the ultrasound on Monday He has been moving well at home so I wasn't too worried. I guess he can't wiggle all the time.

    Hi all

Haven't been on here for ages, just wanted to wish Dory the best of luck tomorrow.

Angel lukes Mum - good news on the cervix length.

afm - had my 20 week scan last Friday, Bub is good, measuring about 4 days ahead, they put my EDD as the 4th Feb, I have is as the 8th. So will keep it as is anyway.
Decided to keep the sex of Bubs a surprise for the kids, they are so exited discussing what it is going to be. I thought if I told anyone, then they will slip up in front of the kids and let the cat out of the bag.
The depressing news from the scan is that my c-section scar is really thin, so I will be very closely monitored now, may be in hospital early in preg on bedrest and will deliver early, so definitely looks like this Bub will be a premmie.
Upset about the scar because all was looking so well until now. Had a scan at 15 weeks, then at 17 weeks (when the Ob said all was so good that he didn't need to see me so often) then had the emergency scan at 19 weeks when I fell over, the sonographer never even mentioned a problem then.
Just having to try and take it easy at the moment, that is easier said than done with 4 kids at home.
Sorry for the down and depressing post, got another scan tomorrow, so will pop back and say hi then.

    take care all

Sorry I'm not too active in here I'm the same in my belly buddies group too, so it's not just you guys scaring me off
Aaanyway, I just wanted to share a little thought I just had in my buddies group that I can't put there... Someone mentioned that we're almost halfway there. I'm not thinking like that. I keep thinking "as soon as I hit 20 weeks, if I lose the baby it's another stillbirth." It just keeps happening - yeah, I am pretty confident that I'll get to take Cookie home at the end of this. But I'm almost resigned to thinking I'll lose him/her too. Not upset about it, mind, it's just like a fact type thing. Augh, hard to explain!

Hi Everyone! Hope you don't me jumping in like this! I got my BFP on Friday and am feeling extremely excited (however very cautious and a touch FREAKED OUT!). We miscarried back in July, getting a BFP on the Fri and miscarrying on the Monday so I'm still sort of very tentative. I had spotting last week and it's cleared up and so have the cramps so I'm feeling ok, and the tests were much darker.

I'm sure in here I'll find many wonderful women (some from the TTC forum) who are pregnant, excited, yet don't have the innocence of a stress free pregnancy! I want to enjoy this (my last) but know that will be near impossible. Looking forward to taking it day by day and ticking off the milestones (hopefully!).

Just wanted to say hi and hoping it's normal to be feeling freaked, anxious, scared yet hopeful all at once :-)

    Hi Ladies,
I had my weekly ultrasound today and everything is looking good. Bub is measuring big and is moving well. My c-section date is now on the books!

Dory, I wish that you would post. Hope everything went well.

Bobbie, nice to hear from you. I am also sick with a bit of a cold this week. That has made it even more difficult for me to sleep. Last week it was the stomach flu! No more trips to the playground for a while, just too many germs.
I will be thinking of you and family on Thursday.

jlk, thanks for asking about me.

Powelly, I have spotting with cramps in early pregnancy. I think that it is pretty normal. All of your feelings are very normal. Pregnancy after a loss it a roller coaster ride.

TeniBear, I had/have the same feelings. It is just too hard to believe that things will end up differently. I always have those thoughts of "when will this baby die" I wish that I could tell you that the feelings go away in later pregnancies
Just remember that your doctors are there to help you through this tough time. If you need to check on bub every week with an ultrasound then do it. Keeping a close eye on your pregnancy will help you relax a tiny bit.
