Ellie, sorry to hear that you have been having a difficult time. 9 weeks! I'm not sure if things will get easier but at least you will have bub in your arms.

dory, It is great that you are able to get excited for other pregnant ladies. I still have an issue with that. I get very excited for everyone here on belly but i am a bit jealous of the "worry free moms to be". I don't really understand it and I am really trying to get past it. I'm getting there.

SB, Sooo glad that it helped you to get all of your worries out there. yay for more movements. In a couple of weeks your whole belly will be dancing!

    Hi all,

Judy, hope you have some better news next time. The M/S might be promising though, horrible as it is.

Laney, yay for those 2nd blue lines. They sound very promising.

Ellie, time seems to slow down doesn't it? My daughter is the other way off the charts - 12.5kg at age 4. I find picking her up a struggle too, but I'm sure I don't have to do it as much as you'd have to pick up your 1 year old. You definitely have my sympathy on that one!

Starbright, I'm glad the crazy lady has backed off for now. You might feel a bit 'safer' again once your bub reaches viability (ug hate that term) - not long to go there.

AFM, I'm pretty much counting down the days, not weeks now. Even though we don't have a date. It's more like crossing off the days I guess. It's not helping time speed up any though. I have a growth scan tomorrow do hopefully that's reassuring. I was having braxton hicks last night in the car on the way home from Bendigo and baby was going nuts the whole time. Usually I worry she isn't moving enough. This time I was worrying she was in distress. Can't win! She's still there today but I'm looking forward to having her checked tomorrow.

    xx Bec.

    Ooooooh laney lots of

Same to you jude.. glad to hear your feeling a bit sickly.. always a nice crazy yucky feeling!!!

mummabec... I hope all goes well for you tomorrow!!

dory.. thats great that you are excited for your friend i have actually amazed myself and held two new-ish borns in the last week!! One was even a girl!! (boys i am ok with coz of shane.. but girls i am still funny with usually) Gemma is a few months old now though- but the little boy i held was a newbie!! And i wil be holding another one next week sometime. Lots of people around me have been having babies, and while i do like laney feel abit jealous and even peeved off at worry free mums- once the babies are out- i cant help but love them.. they are so innocent!! That was also one of my biggest things to get over after loosing my babies- before i had them i was the queen of babies and kids!! I was attracted to them like a moth to a light- and before i had shane it just hurt sooooooo much coz i never knew if i was going to finally get one of my own- so its something i am slowly allowing back in- that part of me that loves kiddies!! and to be honest it feels nice to love all babies again!!

    Soory rant over!!

jlk.... how are you going? Ciunting down to your next ob appt.. we really have to synchronise our appts for our next ones!! missing eachother by a couple of days is just no fun!! I have had o change mine to the 22nd instead of the 29th coz i forgot i was going to be in canberra for my cousins wedding on the 30th lol and big S had an appt for his ear on the 22nd so i made it for then, your the 26th? i will text you when i make my next one lol see if we can arrange the same day!

klee.... How you doin? Hope your little boy is dancing up a storm and your getting a bit of rest from chasing little J around!

ellie... hope your doin ok and hanging in there... like you say- these last few weeks can be the hardest thinking of you xox

AFM... Feeling too big for my weeks again lol i need new clothes coz nothing fits!! And now its getting colder really nothing is fitting!!!!! And its been raining here- so the clothes that DO fit are dirty lol and i am too scared to wash them and put them in the dryer incase they shrink coz then they wont fit But hey i am happy that thats the extent of my delemas this week!!!
Also looking forward to my cousins hens night coming up not this weekend but next weekend- we are doing a ghost tour of canberra!!! Should be fun!!!

For now its time to help with dinner!!

    Bye for now everyone!!!

    Hi Ladies!
So far no bleeding and a nice strong second line today! I hate having to check the TP everytime I wipe but i can't help it. I have had cramps on and off over the past couple of days but that is very "normal" for me. I am on day three of my clexane injections. I am right back into the routine of sticking myself everyday.
Does anyone else suffer from period type cramps early on?

    Hi all,

Sorry I have been MIA, but I'm so sad ATM, as I had to say goodbye to my precious furbaby kitty Pooky last week Tuesday. She was my baby, 14 years old, but still my little girl. She hasn't been well since December, and very sick in the last 3 weeks. She died in my arms, I cried like a baby, I miss her so much. I really wanted her to hang on till my baby came, but she couldn't wait. RIP my sweet little princess.

Teagz, I'm still here hun! I'm booked in to go for my c/s next week on Tuesday, I'll be 38 weeks and 3 days. Sooooo uncomfortable now, have had BH since 24 weeks but now they come and go all day and are getting uncomfortable (but bearable). How is your precious little man going? Wow, one and a half months already! Thanks for checking on me sweets

Laney, congrats hun! I hope your pg rogresses well, fingers and toes crossed!

Mummabec, wow, you don't have that long to go too! GL hun, I hope your baby's birth goes smoothly. GL for your scan tomorrow

Angelicdragon, congrats too, hope all goes well for you too hun

Ellie, wow the time is flying isn't it? Hope you're feeling better now.

Dory, hi hun! Been lurking here are there and I'm glad you're going OK darl. Keep on going strong!

Starbright, jlk, klee, I haven't met you ladies but GL in your pg, I hope they go well and smoothly for you.

BTW, has anyone heard from Megan (Berry) ? She must be having her bub very soon now!

    B xxx

Ah yes, I feel your pain. As much as I kicked myself everytime I whinged about going so overdue, the uncomfortable-ness does get to you! Only 6 more days til you get your hold your little guy! It's such an amazing feeling once they're earth side! And seeing what they look like and having that "wow I made that" realisation... aw, I'm so excited for you!!

My little man is awesome! We had a bumpy last few days tho, and discovered that he doesn't like it when mummy eats eggs oO;; Of all things! So I've cut those out and he's back to his old little self again. He sleeps so well, usually waking up once during the night for a feed and occasionally not at all and pulls a whole 8 hours (which is great! But I never get 8 hours cos I'm too busy making sure he's still alive!)I think he has a touch of reflux, but it's not too bad. If we keep him upright after meals for a bit he keeps everything down and we have put his cot and change table on a 15* slant to help. It makes his room look all topsy turvy tho!
He's smiling heaps now, and he's started baby talking... we have little conversations with each other haha.
He's growing so fast it's a little sad, but each new thing he does is truly amazing so it makes up for it. He's adorable! Melts my heart and turns me weak at the knees

Laney - any more developments????????? I can't help with the cramping etc. Hope someone can.

Teagz - so good to hear about how Jackson is going. At least you worked out it was the eggs! It's amazing just how quickly it does go whilst at the same time feels like time is standing still?

Beata - oh boy oh boy oh boy - I am so excited! And you know how I feel for you and the loss of your princess furbaby.

Starbright - thankyou! I am soo proud of you. It can be hard holding newbies, but they are just so precious and gorgeous, I find it hard not to just be so fascinated with them. I love holding my great neice who is now 3 months old but almost 2 months corrected - she was born 5 weeks prem and was tiny. Just over 2kgs. She is now the size of an average new born, and weights about 3 1/2 kgs, but she is smiling and making sounds.

It was interesting when I went to see her in special care nursery, everyone kept saying how small she was, but to me, she was so much bigger than my babies, that I didn't notice. It was only when I looked around the nursery ( quickly because it's not the done thing to look) she was the smallest baby in there by far.

I am sorry that your journey was so sad for you, but it must be just so amazing to see Shane growing.

Mummabec - how is your scan going?

Angelic - can't win either way. It's misery when you feel really sick, but when you don't feel sick you worry too. Hope you find some relief from the M/S though. Thinking of you.

AFM I had a mild bout of gastro earlier this week and am feeling sooo much better today. It's such a relief to be hungry again. Certainly different to M/S for me where I am ravenous and nauseated at the same time. Anyway, luckily it wasn't too bad and I am feeling great now.

All going well for me really. Had a rough few days when I was feeling sick, just worried about bubs, but much better now. Countdown is on for me, less than a week til my next scan and scheduled ob appointment.

And have passed a milestone of sorts today, 12 weeks today. Not really that significant for me in terms of my experiences, but statistically it's a good milestone to have passed. And until I fall into the 20%, I am going to assume I am in the 80% of pgs that continue successfully after reaching 12 weeks..... I know niaive!! But it's something.

JLK, Klee, Ellie- thinking of you Take care.

Teagz, so happy Jackson is giving you so much love and happiness . I'm sure he's just adorable and has his poor parents wrapped around his little pinkie! lol. How funny about the eggs hey? I went to a breast feeding class last week and they told us not to eat garlic, oranges/orange juice, citrus fruits in general, stone fruit, and onions I think...I forget now! So much cramped into one and half hours, I think I absorbed about 5 % of it all.

Dory, woohoo hun!!!! So excited for you reaching such an important milestone of 12 weeks. Keep it up hun! You will have this baby sweets, remember that when you're having doubts. That's what I did and it helped my anxiety a wee bit. Sorry to hear about the gastro, that must have not been very pleasant. But I know what you mean about m/s, I would feel nauseaus all day but as soon as I ate I'd feel 100% better (for 5 minutes anyway ). Thanks for your kind words about Pooky, I do miss her like crazy.

    Hi!
beata70, I am so sorry to read of the loss of a much loved member of your family. 14 years is a very long life for a kitty. You much have taken great care of her.
Your c/s is so close! Try to relax these last few days and get those last few things done now while you still have time .

dory, congrats on 12 weeks. It is a big milestone. Have you thought anymore about getting the cervical stitch? Isn't it right around 12 weeks that they like to put those in place?

Teagz, it is great to "hear" from you. I am so happy that everything has been going so well.

SB, yay for your clothes being too small. She must be getting big in there!

Bec, goodluck with your scan. I hope bub is nice and big!

AFM, still no bleeding not even a little spotting yet! The cramps have passed for now but I have an issue with them on and off for the first few months. I gave my OB a call days ago and no one has called back yet. I guess I will call again today and bug them. I would like to get bloods done so I can see what my hcg levels are doing.

    Hi All,

It's great to see many new names on here since I posted last. Congratulations to those with new BFP's, its such an exciting but often scary time as well, I really hope you have wonderful healthy pregnancies.

Laney, I got period type pain a lot in my first trimester & checked the TP as well. I think I got ovary type little pains and pulling up to something like 16 wks, and I believe its all very normal but can be very unnerving. All the best hun, I was very pleased to read you got a lovely second line.

Hi Beata, sorry about your kitty passing away, 14-yrs is such a long time. On the flip side, I am very excited that your little man will be arriving next week, that is such great news. Thank you for asking about me. I am officially full term today, but bubs is quite happy tucked away at the moment. I started getting pre-labour pains Monday morning that were getting strong and I thought labout was going to follow, but it all stopped & I have had nothing since. I am hoping that things start up again soon as I would like to avoid being induced if possible.

Teagz, good to hear that Jackson is doing well. I am a bit daughted myself about what those first few days & weeks are going to be like, I really have no clue when it comes to newborns - lol!

I hope everyone else is well & please bare with me as I get to know you all.

Laney - the timing varies. 12-14 weeks if cervical incomp is diagnosed and a bit later is the diagnosis is uncertain. It will certainly be a big topic of discussion at my appointments next Tuesday. Good to hear things are going well for you.

berry 1 - wow - one day to go to your EDD. All of my positive vibes are with you!

laney - sounds promising, keep us updated.
ellie - i hear you on the feeling stuffed, and sore back, my son who's nearly 2 is 13kg and loves to be carried. not long now til the 32 week scan, let us know how it goes

dory - a WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO for you to, for getting to 12 weeks, do you have a scan coming up? sorry just read up, good luck for your scan next week
beata - sorry to hear about your cat, hoping she's watching over you and helps guide this precious one into your arms next week, good luck looking forward to reading the announcement
mummabec - how did your growth scan go?
angelicdrag - thinking of you hoping your next scan shows better news
s/b - pmsl so did it only last for a week that your belly caught up, cause now you need bigger clothes again, that made me smile, have a nice few days away, look forward to hearing how it all went
teagz - great your little man is doing so well, love reading up on little treasures and how they're progressing. the baby talk, isn't it just wonderful
katiegirl - how you going? did you manage another appointment and put crazy lady back in her box?
sorry to anyone i missed, just wanted to pop in briefly
AFM - my crazy lady must just have been on vacation for two or so weeks cause she's back again, little reuben doesn't like to move much, (they move too much you freak they move not enough you freak, wheres the balance?!), my ds has decided that he's fast and kick (quick) so as he gets faster I get slower, getting plenty of pelvic pain too but my ob said its nothing to be concerned about just having so many pg close together will do it to you, so just being a bit ouchy lately which is making me cranky. also starting with some heart palpitations which is freaking me out, what is this crazy lady doing to me lol, now just got to focus on looking forward to the 28 week growth scan, the day before good friday, so the countdown is on.

ok sorry for teh chattiness, belly rubs to all

    Hi everyone!

Beata, so sorry to hear about your cat. Cats are so companionable. Even more so after 14 years. I think your cat may already have gotten to know your baby. I have a very strong sense that my cat knows when I'm pregnant. He likes to sit with his paws up on my belly and he feels movements from time to time.
Good luck for Tuesday. Words don't really do it justice. You must be so excited/nervous.

Teagz, great to hear things are going well. Jackson is totally adorable.

Dory, I agree that 12 weeks is still an important milestone. Good for you for holding onto hope. It's not naive - it's hopefull and it's a beautiful thing!

Berry, I hope your little boy makes his appearance very soon! 40 weeks is long enough to wait.

AFM, the growth scan went well. My fluid levels are normal now and bubs is on the 40th percentile. She's still head down. DH and I found ourselves back in the ultrasound room where we found out that Luca had died. I didn't know what to think or do.
I wish I had a date for this baby's arrival. But whatever happens, there's not all that long to go.

    xx Bec.

Bec, so happy to hear that your fluid levels are good and that bub is nice and big. I hope that you are able to relax a little bit more now. Not much longer to wait.

klee, I have tons of heart palpitations when I am pregnant. some of them actually take my breath away. It is scary but "normal". Mine were usually at their worst when I first got into bed at night. They pretty much went away around 30 weeks or so. Bring on the 28 week scan!

ellie, not long now hun. I hope you have some family close that can help you out a little bit.

Berry, I hope bub decides that it is time to come out of there soon. I can't wait to see some pics.

SB, AD, beata, dory, jlk I hope everything is going well.

AFM, Still no bleeding and only a couple of little cramps! I am going to get my hcg levels taken today. My OB is on vacation until Monday so I guess I will know when my first scan is then!
