Congratulations Tazzy. Hope the pregnancy goes well.

Hopefully the bleeding is nothing major. In my first pregnancy, I was bleeding at 10wks and it turned out to be nothing. Everything should be OK.

I may be going out on a limb here but I'm guessing the age between you and you partner may be an issue to your family?? I shouldn't jump to conclusions - My last boyfriend before I met my husband was 15yrs older than me (I was 19) and my Dad was so angry - It didn't last very long!!!! (I really hope I didn't offend.)

If it is, poo to them. Value their opinions, but don't necessarily take them on board. It's obvious that you and your partner have made this decision to have a child and your family should respect that. As everyone else has said in this thread, they'll come round, it's probably just the initial shock.

    Good luck

    Bon :-)

Thank you everyone for your replies.

Bonnie, You definently didn't offend me, I totally agree that most of my parents problem with my fiance and myself is the age difference. hopefully they accept the situation soon. If not, then i guess its their loss.

im confident the bleeding was nothing. my little bundle is still growing in me and i feel great apart from a little morning sickness. but i wont know more for another 6 weeks - oh how i hate the waiting in limbo... it goes so slow.

hope everyone else is doing well!

Tazzy, congratulations on your pregnancy hun. I too hope that the bleeding subsides and you continue on to have a great pregnancy.

Your parents will come around, it might just take some time. And if they don't, well, there's a very special little person they will be missing out on, isn't there
