Congratulations on your pregnancy - very exciting. I would go for it - it is very hard to keep these secrets and contain them just to ourselves. I finally told some friends and family today (i couldn't wait any longer even though i swore to myself that i wasn't going to tell anyone till i was 20 weeks - yeh right !!!)

Don't worry about what people think about you guys not married or not having a place of your own yet....times have changed. I know heaps of people in similar situations and all we think is "can you hurry up and get married so we can go to a wedding !". People should only be happy for you - how can they not be ? And if some are not happy then they are just jealous !

You and your partner are No 1 here so that is all that matters - it is not being selfish - just sometimes we are more important than others and have to look after ourselves first.
