Cool Is 4 really that big??

    Hi ladies,

Just found out we're having baby number 4! Earlier in the year we discussed giving our youngest a sibling a little closer in age and now here we are pregnant ! The reaction to our news has been a mix of excitement and sheer horror. Some people think 3 plus children is HUGE .

What's with the negative response? Has anyone else experienced this sort of reaction?

    Thanks ladies

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I hope it's a happy and healthy one.

Not sure what it has to do with other people as to how many children you have, unless of course you are asking them to raise them. If you think you get good reactions from telling them about number 4, try number 5

I'm the youngest of 6. You'd need to be up past 8 before i thought "wow, big family"

Thanks girls I don't think 4 kids is too many either. My Mum is one of 11 and obviously other peoples comments never stopped my old Nanna!

You're right Trish it's NOT their business. Best wishes for the upcoming arrival of your baby girl.
    Have a great day

Congratulations on #4 I hope you have a wonderful pregnancy!!

I have very mixed reactions with all of my pregnancies!! Esp for certain family members... so I don't think it would matter how many I had I would always expect a negative reaction from certain ppl.

    All the best.

I get so used to the looks now. Seriously though it's a joke. The government is asking us to have more babies. We're just being good citizens. Helping to keep Australia populated. Atleast we will have atleast 1 kid to look after us in our old age

Tanya, I am totally with you. Some people only ever have negative comments. Good thing I'm not out to please everyone.

    CONGRATS!!!!!!!
4 isn't that big to me, i already have 4 and 3 step kids and just found out im pg with another one, so that will be 8 lol I agree with Trish, the government want us to have more babies, we should be applauded for it, not given grief by people that it really has nothing to do with, i'm not asking them to look after it for me!!!!
Anyway, i hope you have a H & H pregnancy, and enjoy your large family, life is never dull !!!!!

Congrats! I hope your pg is a blissfully easy for you.

As for 4, I come from 5, so 4 was no big deal for me. It is for others though apparently LOL. MIL freaked out but she thought it was accidental and not planned, once we told her she was a lot better about it.

Honestly, it may be absolute mayhem here sometimes, but I wouldn't have it any other way now I know our family is complete.

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.
I don't think 4 kids is too many. I'm one of 9, big family. My mum used to get comments at number 4 but the comments stopped at number 7. I think everyone gave up because they knew she wasn't listening (hehe).

    Hi

Congratulations, the more babies the better I say.

I would love to have 3 or more, but I know some people will have their opinions. Don't let them get to you.

Talking Doing my bit for Australia!

One thing's for sure, despite other peoples negative comments everyone on BB is always so supportive and positive . Thanks girls.

LOL Trish, I never looked at it that way. You're right though one of my 4 kids better take me in when I'm old and grey .

Shannon, it's great to hear from you, I lurked around for ages with much excitement over your baby girls arrival and choosen name. Kassidy is perfect, luv it! It goes so well with your other girls names. I've already been scratching my head over this bubba's name. Like you, I want a name that goes well with our other three. Any suggestions in the coming months will be welcomed (I know you've got good taste) .

    Luv Lane

Congrats....having four children will be lovely....when they are growing up AND when they are grown up, how nice for them to have support and friendship from their siblings.

When will people start to mind their own business?
