Found out the good news a few days ago. But untill then I had know idea how common MC was! Now I'm so scared.... I keep telling myself it only took 2 months to get pregnant so i can do it again if i have to... Anyway due on July 20th. Anyone due around then as well? I have know idea what I'm supposed to do. I havn't found the doctors very helpfull so far Also first time on any kind of interenet forum/chat room... just as scary!
The statistics on miscarriage are scary, but remember that the chance of you having a healthy baby is very much higher than the chance of something going wrong. Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months, and I hope you enjoy looking round the boards and get lots of information to help you make choices for your pregnancy and birth
You'll love it here, everyone is extremely helpful, and I can say if it wasn't for these ladies I wouldn't have a clue about most things pregnancy/baby related!
Introduce yourself in this thread, it's full of people who are due around the same time as you. Best wishes for a happy and healthy 9 months
A lot of Drs don't seem very helpful when you're so early just because there isn't a lot they can do at the moment. I know where you're coming from though and it seems like they aren't that interested. Wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy!
Congratulations and welcome. I also suggest joining the thread KTee has suggested (I am actually due around same time as you), with my DD my group was great, a massive source of reassurance and advice.
Thank you so much everyone for your warm welcome. You all seem so friendly here which is fantastic I think I will become addicted! I love reading what everyone has to say, i have allready learnt alot.
Goodluck to you all as well. Can anyone recommend a good hospital in Melbourne for high risk pregnancy? xx
Thanks heaps I will try and find it! I haven't got private insurance but I'm starting to think I don't care if I have to pay as long as I get the best care as I'm quite high risk. My neuro doctor as suggested Monash or the Womens but I was hoping to learn what others have experienced.
