7000 is very high for 4 weeks. Are you sure that's all you are?

Why did they do a d&c on you in the first place. Where you pregnant? What was the reasoning for a d&c.

Didn't you say your hcg level was 7000 on your 4/10 post and then 7000 on your 6/10 post? As someone said these are high for 4 weeks unless of course there is multiples, but I would have expected your 2nd hcg level to be considerably higher as they are meant to double every 48 hours????

Actually my levels were sign higher, I just got it wrong in my post.
I had the first D&C approx 6 weeks ago as I had two cycles in which I bled for most of the cycle. I went to a gyno for the first time on the Monday and he said he thought he should do a D&C to have a look and take a sample to see if there was any reason for it. The issue is, I told him we were trying to conceive, yet he didn't do a blood test. Hence, I was actually pregnant when I went in. I think the egg must have been travelling down the tube or was just missed in the D&C...not sure. But was def pregnant a few days after! Hence didnt need to operation or the emotional rollar coaster it since has bought! Esp as when I found out I was preg they thought it might have been ectopic so was in for lots of tests.
I actually ended up miscarrying last week at 8 weeks due to a Blighted Ovum so was back in the hospital for a D&C on Thurs. Was all a lot more emotional than I thought it would be though feel better today than I have since I found out last Wed. Good news is, all works, so we will try again when we can!
