Yay! A BFP for me too!

I've got news! A for me!!!

I am so happy and excited, I can't believe it. I have no idea when bubs is due because AF has been so long and irregular since DS (and breastfeeding). I must be more than 4 but less than 6 weeks along. I did a test a few weeks ago and it was a BFN. Then I just felt like testing yesterday (as you do) and it was the biggest fattest BFP EVER!!!

I'm going to see my ob on Monday who has an US in his room. He'll be able to give me a ball-park EDD, but no doubt will refer me to a proper sonographer and machine.

I'm desperate to see that heartbeat. It just doesn't feel real at the moment.

And I can't wait to use totally gorgeous newborn cloth nappies (I never want a sposie to touch this babies butt. Shhh, DH thinks I'm mad!).

Mel, Celsie, Nic, Dusty, Mel R, Jols, Tan, Sryan, SaraJane and Gracie, (so far)

Thank you so much for taking the time to share in my pregnancy news. It means so much to me. DH and I aren't telling ANYONE IRL until after our 12 week scan, so being able to come on here and share is just so important and helps me get through each day.

I'll be sure to let you know how I go on Monday with the little scan I'll have with my Ob.

Just incase anyone is wondering, I had two scans today. The first one was on my obs machine that's just a little portable thing so it couldn't see much. Then I had a proper TransV on the big machine at the ultrasound center. The results are inconclusive, but all the signs are good. There was a yolk sac, fetal pole and a heartbeat but it was slow, 105bmp. This could be just because it's too early or because it may not be a viable pregnancy. Anyway, they thought I was about 6 weeks.

So, then I had a blood test to check Hcg levels. I've got another blood test on Friday and then another scan in 10 days.

It's hard (for me) not to be pessimistic. I guess I'd rather be pleasantly surprised than devastatingly disappointed. Geez these next 10 days are going to be loooooooong. I'm so lucky that I've got Angus to keep me distracted.

ETA: I can’t believe how unbelievably sick (all day) such a tiny little thing can make me feel!
