12.4 weeks pregnant and looking huge!

    Hi girls,

I am seriously concerned! I am 12 weeks and 4 days but look about 20 weeks pregnant. I did pop early last time with my DD but this time I cannot believe how big I already look, I am already feeling short of breath and so exhausted all the time. I know its not twins as I have already had 5 ultrasounds between 5-11 weeks. I don't see my ob for another scan till Im 15 weeks.

If I'm this big now how am I gonna look full term? I have only put on 1.5kgs so far.

I was the same this time. I looked about 5months at that stage. I kept saying to myself - it's bloating it will go down.....it never did. This is my belly at 11 weeks.

No worries ladies. I've gotten big a little faster with my subsequent pregnancies, but the end result was about the same. I wasn't bigger at 9 months with my 2nd, 3rd, etc., than I was with my 1st. And, the early "bigness" is mostly bloating, not actually uterus or baby. So don't stress - you're not necessarily going to be huge, and you're not having a 15lb baby either.

Goodness Kim! Thats an impressie bump right there! And yep i was showing very early with my DD and even more so with the second. I'm worried that when i'm pregnant again i wont be able to keep it hidden for as long as we want. I guess i'll have to think of a plan, or maybe just stay indoors for the first 12 weeks

But in saying that i showed very quickly but i didn't get very big at all, i was quite tiny but then i lost about 12kgs..

Thanks ladies. Depends how you're built I guess. I have no space between ribs and pelvis. This is my 5 long preg and my organs know now to get out the way lol.

Thanks girls you have made me feel a bit better. I went shopping this morning for some more maternity wear as I am so uncomfortable in my clothes at the moment so feeling alot better.

Kim - your belly pic is gorgeous - pretty much thats what I look like but maybe a tad bigger and mine is at the top aswell, I have a small midsection too so guess the organs have already been pushed away!

Nice to see I'm not alone! I'm looking pregnant now and not even 12 weeks yet. I also popped quite early with DS, but nothing like this time round!

    I feel huge too!

Im only 10.5 weeks and I am so much bigger than with ds its crazy. I am bloated and rather exhausted. Morning sickness is in full swing all the time, I have become quite the best friend with my toilet bowl lately I feel like we spend more time together than me and my bf. Ahhh the joys of it all. My pants only just fit me. Yay! Lets all get big together I say. Good luck and wishing you all the best.

I can't wait to have my preggy belly! Part of the pregnancy I absolutely loved, being able to show off and all the cute maternity clothes

I hope I pop earlier than DS, I was 25 weeks before I started to show!!

I've been a little worried for the opposite reason. I'm almost 13 weeks now and I have nothing at all to show for it. I'm pretty sure that I started showing at 13 weeks with DS, and earlier with DD. The 12 week scan put me at ease when I found out that bub is measuring the right size and the amount of fluid was good. Phew!

One thing I've noticed is that my pelvis is still wider than "normal" since having my DD (she's 8 months), so maybe it never got the chance to slim down after having her and this bub has more space in my actual pelvis and hasn't needed to make a "belly" yet... *shrugs*

At 14 weeks I am very obviously pregnant, all belly and 1kg heavier :S

Last time I put on 28kgs and was determined not to this time. I don't think I've got much hope, lol.
