As the other ladies here have said, to put your mind at ease a BT is your best way. All three of my pregnancies have had bleeding. During my first pregnancy I had early bleeding at about 8 weeks, and the second pregnancy at about 6 weeks. Everything turned out fine and lost them to different circumstances.
I hope everything's okay and will be thinking of you!
Starangelk, I had this exact thing with both pregs (and it wasn't the reason I lost Jayvan so don't panic!)
Def keep those fingers and toes crossed but while it's so light with no cramps I would say that everything is ok. I'll be keeping my toes and fingers crossed too! xx
Good luck sweety,i had spotting and later major bleeding with DD and she was born full term with no complications. I hope your little one is nice and safe xx
Good luck with your appointment at the Dr's. I had spotting with both of my pregnancies at about 6-7 weeks and had bleeding with my second at 12 weeks, but I have both children.
I remember being told from my DR that you can get spotting due to the egg implanting in the Uterus.
Hi ladies -a massive THANK YOU for your support, I really really appreciate it. Went to the DR this morning who basically said I should prepare myself for the worst but to try and not worry. She said it doesn't sound good but it is possible that the bleeding is normal for "me" and I could go on to be okay. So she sent me for blood tests and has marked them urgent and I can ring and speak to her this afternoon to get the results. She said that if the test comes up negative then it is a miscarriage and I need to wait for the bleeding and still get a scan in a week or so to check everything has been flushed out. If the test is positive then I have to wait until next Monday (because Friday is a holiday here) and be restested. Then from the levels they can see what is going on.
I think I am in denial because I still asked her about the OB referral because I am worried that they will get booked out and I will miss out! She said not to worry about that at all, she will make sure that doesn't happen and we need to deal with this first and then worry about that later. Makes me realise that she thinks it is not looking good and she did say that pretty clearly. I am making her sound horrible but actually she was lovely just straight to the point which I appreciate.
that everything is okay. Feeling pretty sad and scared but still hopeful.
I too had spotting during my second pregnancy and it turned out fine. From week 8-18 if i remember correctly but it was only ever brown spotting never bright red.
Hi read your post and wanted to reassure you as I had bleeding also in this pregnancy. I was also told to go home and wait for the inevitable which was horrible and quite wrong as I can now appreciate...I hope your test comes back positive and have my fingers crossed for you.
Its normal to get a bit panicky as we want these pregnancies so much and sometimes generalising things can be a bit dangerous as a lot of ppl have a wide range of pregnancy stories.
