    Just so freakin tired!!

    Just a petty thread, really.

8w 2d and I just can't function. I'm just so tired and I've got DD to deal with. I just blob on the couch and thinking about macca's thickshakes... (closest maccas being 1 1/2 hours away). I'm finding it hard to keep it a secret (announcing it on Christmas morning), getting a tummy already.
Bought new clothes and they make my belly look HUGE so I can't wear them for another month!!

Constantly dizzy in the head, morning sickness hits at about 3pm (so, afternoon sickness really)....

What can I do!?! I just want to sleep and sleep but I can't because of DD.

I can't eat or do anything and I'm miserable.

Charlotte you're going through what i class as the thoughest part of my pregnancies. Give me aches and pains anyday. I'm generally a happy person and find the day to day goings on of having children fairly enjoyable but the first 3 months of pregnany or MS i'm a different person. I have no motivation and looking after my children was a real chore. I felt a lot of guilt during this time because of the way i'd feel towards my kids.

And yes you can't just curl up and sleep like we probably did when expecting our firsts. But make sure you do it whenever possible.

Your surprise sounds lovely and hopefully once you are able to share it with everyone the fun will start (and maybe the MS/AS will be gone for good.

In the meantime be kind to yourself and just do whatever you need to to get by. It'll get better

Don't put too much pressure on yourself. You are growing a new little person and for many women this is the toughest, most tiring, part. If your daughter has day sleeps then don't worry about the housework and just sleep during these. Try and eat small meals (dry biscuits or crackers if nothing else will stay down) and have regular sips of water so that you are staying hydrated if you do vomit. And if you need to use the TV to babysit DD whilst you rest then so be it. Is there a friend you could let in on the secret so you can have some help?

    Thanks, K!
No-one can help me out, only one person knows and he works constantly (being harvest and everything).
I find it hard to sleep during the day and generally wake up feeling worse. I slept alot during DD's pregnancy because I had nothing to keep me awake. Going to try and start having day sleeps. DD has 1 1/2 hours in the morning and similar after lunch.

I don't vomit everyday just gag alot and spent plenty of time cuddling a bucket. Saladas are a lifesaver, cups of tea with a few biscuits, and toast is what I survive on.
I try to drink 1-2 litres everyday, water gives me reflux and makes me feel sicker so I drink diet-rite cordial. I've drunk no added sugar cordial for years so I love it.

I hate using the TV to distract DD, but it works wonders. We chill out and watch old disney movies and I bought her a wiggles DVD yesterday so am going to put that on shortly.

Thanks again. I'm just having a really hormonal day and feel like crying. Plus it's going to be 35C today and I don't know if I can cope. Been getting hot flushes alot during the last few nights.

Aw sweetie it's so tough when you have a little one to entertain. Do whatever you have to do, even if it means using the TV more than you'd like. Hope you start to feel better soon

    You poor darling

Could you try drinking a berocca performance? Not that different tasting to cordial and the extra vitamin B and C might help.

I agree with everyone else...don't put too much pressure on yourself. The housework will still be there when you start feeling better.

    Take care x

I ve being taking berocca to help be get me thru the Day, lucky for me I only work 3or 4 hour shifts but can barely manage to do that with out sitting down for half of it! I never thought I could be this tired, but the heat is what is making it really hard for me the past week. When Im not napping, Im sitting in the toilet! Just think of everyones face when you annoucce it Xmas day when it gets to tough, I hope it cools down a little for us! God bless dry crackers!
