I had cramps on and off for the first few weeks as well. I spoke to my midwife and she reassured me if there was no spotting or bleeding it was probably ok. She did offer for me to come in and get checked out if I was really worried.

What I did find is that if I over did it anything, like being too active, stretching, getting too tired my body would tell me with cramping. So when I feel the cramps now I take it as a hint to sit down, have a cup of tea and rest for a little while.

BUT if you are worried, speak to the dr and let them check you out if you are worried.
