As MG said, that baby is nestled so deep inside you that it is hard to shift - lots of people don't realise they're pregnant at your early stage and do loads of stupid things (like help fit a new bathroom...) and the baby is cushioned in their against the mother's lack of awareness of them.
Try to sort out the insurance ASAP - for us, I had an accident 2 months ago, going to be another 4 months (earliest estimate) before it's all finished. Do it NOW so you don't have to deal with it all the day you go into labour. Trying to do it with a screaming baby is just as hard! Put in an injury claim too - whiplash and pregnant, may help you with the costs of a new car.
