just to let you know that my symptoms were very much like yours. i got cramping about 5 days before AF was due and was again expecting to go through another month of trying. was very tired (still am!) and to convince myself that i wasn't preggo i took my temperature only to find that it was really high!! so anyways, you might be or might not be but a big good luck for thursday!!
Don't know if this is relevant. Couldn't find much evidence either way.
Cervix has been low and firm last few days.
Since this morning higher and softer. Does this happen before AF?
AF still hasn't been..

I especially like the part where u said I sound grounded and clever etc. I think I am pretty well every bit that too. I think I am ready for a child for sure, father or no father.
I just bought my first house
also my close friend tried co existing in a house with her ex too. He kicked her out on the weekend. her and their baby boy now have no home. what a jerk.
lol sorry, can't say i know a thing about my cervix.. except that it's in there somewhere doing it's thing.. but wow! buying a house sounds pretty exciting! what i wouldn't give for my own space.. but had to quit work over a month ago as was just too tired, so can't afford rent lol.
yeh.. sorry about my habit for long posts lol.. they just sort of happen. poss partly procrastination, partly the need for a rant lol. like right now i ought to be reading a case [I]manson v[I] somebody i can't remember.. for todays lecture. started it but was so very dry. something to do with wills and tax. yay. not quite the same as my other paper which was hathaway about some guy in wisconson who had sex with a dead deer, and tried to say that it wasn't illegal because animals ceased being animals when they died, said at what point does and animal stop being an animal and start being a carcass.. and in class we're like dude, just let it go.. but hey. lol thats law for you!
but yes. my friend caro says that her husband was pretty much useless in the care of their bub for the first year lol so you know i think men are fairly redundant. they just needle for attention and covet bodily parts, in much the same way as bub will lol. i have to say i miss my ex sometimes but in the long run we're better off without him. selfish b****** that he is. he didn't even tell me when his mum was in hospital recently, said "cos it's non of your f****** business". nice. doesn't seem to realise that it certainly is bub's business and to get that info to bub he has to speak to me. not least that i actually care about her.. she's like family.
but sorry i can't help on the cervix front.. hmm maybe long rambly posts are partly to do with preggy brain - sort of leads me off on all sorts of random tangents..
But i have been tricked so many times! Right before i was diagnosed with pcos i was convinced i was pregnant. My boobs felt like bricks they were so sensitive and they had weird veins on them, my sense of smell was off and so was my taste, i had weird cramping, i was moody, i was nauseas most mornings and i was really tired. But then i had this horrible pain one day at work and if i was pregnant it wasnt good but when i went to the doctor he did a blood test and nope not pregnant but have pcos..
SO I'm up early for me.. and first trip to the toilet this am. no sign of AF yet..
I do feel a bit weird. like very very faint cramps. maybe its a hunger pain.. we all know I am a lover of food.. I'll have to get all dressed and stuff and go to the shops to buy food because there isn't any in my cupboard. what a pain.
maybe I'll give in and buy a HPT while I'm there.. don't know yet.
one thing I can tell you is that when I normally get AF I can tell because I'll have a mongrel headache, sometimes migraine from one or two days before hand.
No sign of any headaches either.
TMI but CM is increasing, and cervix is now so high I can't even feel it..
So I took the next step and I went and bought me a HPT.
I got the first response one. I read somewhere its better to test in the morning, but on the box it says any time of day.
So now I'm just waiting on my bladder..
a lil nervous but it's still more likely to be negative. have to wait and see.
