Hi Michelle. I have a 34-36 day cycle and ovulate 14 days before that. This time when I concieved I O'd on day 21 and got a positive test at 12 days past O. I can't see how your eggs would be too old as they only live for about 12-ish hrs regardless of what cycle day you O on. You would still be likely to have an O date roughly 14 days before the start of your period - have you charted your cycle to see if there is a pattern with it at all?
