    Dehydration

I'm nearly 10wks and have been throwing up religiously since about 6wks. The last couple of days it's gotten a bit better and I've only thrown up once but I noticed that my urine has turned dark yellow. I Googled that and the colouring seems to indicate dehydration which can lead to all sorts of bad things.

Have any of you experienced this? Should I panic?

I just forced myself to drink a glass of water.

I did when my m/s was at its worst, throwing up a few times a day, and I neglected my water intake as I just wasn't keeping anything down. Try not to drink a whole glass of water at once, I did a few times and ended up making myself sick. Always keep a glass of water or a water bottle with you, and take a few sips every now and then, it should stop the dehydration.

If you can't keep even a few sips down, I'd be going to the dr or hospital.

But if you're getting any pain when you go to the loo, stinging or burning or itching, I'd defiantely be going to see a dr as you could have an infection that needs to be dealt with straight away.

not sure if you can take it during pregnancy, but ask your chemist about hydrolite sachets?
i used them with DS when he had gastro and it fixed him up within 24 hours, i was also told to sip water slowly rather then skull it back.

What about ice blocks? make your own with some nice fresh fruit juices and water?

Thank you both for your advice. I've been drinking water and it's improved :-) I've never been as paranoid as I am these days. Everything is cause for hysteria!!!

I like the fresh fruit juice icy pole suggestion, I'll try that this weekend.
