Red face DH won't like due date

My husband's not going to like the due date the ob's office just gave me. 1st July, which is fireworks night here in the territory.

With my first baby i was due 1st August but my waters broke spontaniously on the 1st July. My husband couldn't hear me screaming for him (i was in bed) when they broke beacuse our neighbours were letting off heaps of crackers. There was a queue at the labour ward as lots of people had gone into labour. A real baby boom. Didn't help that it was a full moon or that we experienced an earth tremor that night either.

It also means that our kids are going to have very close b'days unless no.2 decides to rock up early too.

I had to smile at that one. My DH is worried that he will miss out on his beloved RuxCon convention here in sydney - lucky there wont be any fireworks though!

The only thing that'd be of interest to my DH around my EDD is the footy. That can easily be taped if it's a game he really wants to see.
It's more for me as bubs is due 6 days before Mothers Day. Hoping bubs will arrive before then so i can enjoy my 1st Mothers Day.
