I had to smile at that one. My DH is worried that he will miss out on his beloved RuxCon convention here in sydney - lucky there wont be any fireworks though!

    GL hun!!

The only thing that'd be of interest to my DH around my EDD is the footy. That can easily be taped if it's a game he really wants to see.
It's more for me as bubs is due 6 days before Mothers Day. Hoping bubs will arrive before then so i can enjoy my 1st Mothers Day.

You can't do much about it now hun. They don't often arrive on their due date anyway. My second DS was due in late October but decided to arrive late September. Now his birthday is going to clash with the AFL grand final when it's on a weekend. Plus in terms of birthday parties, his birthday is during school holidays, and DS1's birthday is 2 weeks after the school term starts so when he starts school he'll have about 1 day to make friends to invite to his party LOL!

LOL... this thread makes me laugh... my due date is the same weekend that the Government is scheduled to scuttle the HMAS Canberra, off the coast of Victoria. It will become a massive scuba diving site and being a mad keen diver, he was all set to go.

Its a big deal in the scuba diving world - the last scuttling the Government did was a ship called the HMAS Brisbane, located in Queensland and my DH flew up to the Sunshine Coast to watch it. Fully. He flew up there

Its also around the time of the air show I think... so he is doubly devastated and hoping that bubs appears early or late... so he can go to the airshow but more importantly go watch the Canberra sink!!
